Due to the numerous variables to take into account as well as the inherent ambiguity and uncertainty,evaluating educational institutions can be *** concept of a possibility Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft set(pPyFHSS)is more flexible in this regard than other theoretical fuzzy set-like models,even though some attempts have been made in the literature to address such *** study investigates the elementary notions of pPyFHSS including its set-theoretic operations union,intersection,complement,OR-and *** results related to these operations are also modified for ***,the similarity measures between pPyFHSSs are formulated with the assistance of numerical examples and ***,an intelligent decision-assisted mechanism is developed with the proposal of a robust algorithm based on similarity measures for solving multi-attribute decision-making(MADM)problems.A case study that helps the decision-makers assess the best educational institution is discussed to validate the suggested *** algorithmic results are compared with the most pertinent model to evaluate the adaptability of pPyFHSS,as it generalizes the classical possibility fuzzy set-like theoretical ***,while considering significant evaluating factors,the flexibility of pPyFHSS is observed through structural comparison.

The role of copper element has been an increasingly relevant topic in recent years in the fields of human and animal health, for both the study of new drugs and innovative food and feed supplements. This metal plays an important role in the central nervous system, where it is associated with glutamatergic signaling, and it is widely involved in inflammatory processes. Thus, diseases involving copper(Ⅱ) dyshomeostasis often have neurological symptoms, as exemplified by Alzheimer's and other diseases(such as Parkinson's and Wilson's diseases). Moreover, imbalanced copper ion concentrations have also been associated with diabetes and certain types of cancer, including glioma. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive overview of recent results that show the importance of these metal ions in several pathologies, mainly Alzheimer's disease, through the lens of the development and use of copper chelators as research compounds and potential therapeutics if included in multi-target hybrid drugs. Seeing how copper homeostasis is important for the well-being of animals as well as humans, we shortly describe the state of the art regarding the effects of copper and its chelators in agriculture, livestock rearing, and aquaculture, as ingredients for the formulation of feed supplements as well as to prevent the effects of pollution on animal productions.

Acoustic emission characteristics of damage evolution of multi-scale fiber reinforced rubberized concrete under uniaxial compression and tension after being subjected to high temperatures

Recently developed multi-scale fiber(i.e.,CaCO3 whisker,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)fiber,and steel fiber)reinforced rubberized concrete exhibits excellent mechanical properties and spalling resistance at high *** of macro properties such as strength and Young’s modulus cannot reveal and characterize damage mechanisms,particularly those relating to the multi-scale fiber strengthening *** this study,acoustic emission(AE)technology is applied to investigate the impact of multi-scale fiber on the damage evolution of rubberized concrete exposed to high temperatures,under the uniaxial compression and tension loading *** mechanical properties,AE event location,peak frequency,b-value,the ratio of rise time to amplitude(RA),average frequency(AF)values,and AE energy of specimens are *** results show that the number of events observed using AE gradually increases as the loading *** crumb rubber and fibers inhibit the generation and development of the *** is concluded that both the peak frequency and b-value reflect the extension process of *** the cracks develop from the micro scale to the macro scale,the peak frequency tends to be distributed in a lower frequency range,and the b-value decreases *** the peak stress point,the AE energy increases rapidly and the b-value *** specimens without multi-scale fibers exhibit brittle failure,while the specimens with fibers exhibit ductile *** addition,adding multi-scale fibers and crumb rubber increases the peak frequency in the medium and high frequency ranges,indicating a positive effect on inhibiting crack *** being subjected to high temperatures,the maximum and minimum b-values decrease,reflecting an increase in the number of initial cracks due to thermal ***,the RA and AF values are used to classify tensile and shear *** specimens fracture with more shear cracks under compression,and there are more tensile

Stacking plates of CFRP composite materials are increasingly used because of their unique characteristics. However, unlike other materials used in metallurgy they have a disadvantage of uneven quality and anisotropy when combined with other composites. Hence, specimens of CFRP stacking plates are manufactured by changing orientation angles throughout three quasiisotropic plies （0°/45°/90°/-45°）68, （03°/453°/903°/-453°）2s, and （06°/456°/906°/-456°）s and throughout three cross plies （0°/90°/0°/90°）68, （03 °/903 °/03°/903°）2s, and （06 °/906 °/06°/906°）8 In this study 3-point bending tests and transverse bending tests have been carried out in order to find out mechanical characteristics according to orientation angles by stacking in 6 different types along with the change of stacking composition method of a CFRP composite.

BACKGROUND The burden of mental disorders(MD)in the Western Pacific Region(WPR)re-mains a critical public health concern,with substantial variations across demogra-phics and *** To analyze the burden of MD in the WPR from 1990 to 2021,along with associated risk factors,to reveal changing trends and emerging *** We used data from the Global Burden of Disease 2021,analyzing prevalence,incidence,and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs)of MD from 1990 to *** methods included age-standardisation and uncertainty analysis to address variations in population structure and data *** Between 1990 and 2021,the prevalence of MD rose from 174.40 million cases[95%uncertainty interval(UI):160.17-189.84]to 234.90 million cases(95%UI:219.04-252.50),with corresponding DALYs increasing from 22.8 million(95%UI:17.22-28.79)to 32.07 million(95%UI:24.50-40.68).During this period,the burden of MD shifted towards older age *** and anxiety disorders were predominant,with females showing higher DALYs for depressive and anxiety disorders,and males more affected by conduct disorders,attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder,and autism spectrum ***,New Zealand,and Malaysia reported the highest burdens,whereas Vietnam,China,and Brunei Darussalam reported the ***,childhood sexual abuse and bullying,and intimate partner violence emerged as significant risk *** This study highlights the significant burden of MD in the WPR,with variations by age,gender,and *** coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has exacerbated the situation,emphasizing the need for a coordinated response.

Pedestrian evacuation is actually a process of behavioral evolution. Interaction behaviors between pedestrians affect not only the evolution of their cooperation strategy, but also their evacuation paths-scheduling and dynamics features. The existence of interaction behaviors and cooperation evolution is therefore critical for pedestrian evacuation. To address this issue, an extended cellular automaton(CA) evacuation model considering the effects of interaction behaviors and cooperation evolution is proposed here. The influence mechanism of the environment factor and interaction behaviors between neighbors on the decision-making of one pedestrian to path scheduling is focused. Average payoffs interacting with neighbors are used to represent the competitive ability of one pedestrian, aiming to solve the conflicts when more than one pedestrian competes for the same position based on a new method. Influences of interaction behaviors, the panic degree and the conflict cost on the evacuation dynamics and cooperation evolution of pedestrians are discussed. Simulation results of the room evacuation show that the interaction behaviors between pedestrians to a certain extent are beneficial to the evacuation efficiency and the formation of cooperation behaviors as well. The increase of conflict cost prolongs the evacuation time. Panic emotions of pedestrians are bad for cooperation behaviors of the crowd and have complex effects on evacuation time. A new self-organization effect is also presented.

In the natural gas liquefaction process,the mixed refrigerant natural gas liquefaction process is widely used in LNG liquefaction plants because of its advantages of low energy *** paper focuses on the influences of important parameters in the C3/MRC liquefaction process,that is,the comparison between propane precooling temperature and the number of moles of methane in mixed refrigerant,power consumption and *** addition,the total process was optimized with the optimizer and manual adjustment in HYSYS software to minimize the total power *** results show that with increasing propane precooling temperature,the propane flow rate is almost unchanged,while the mixed refrigerant flow rate decreases significantly,and the loss of the heat exchanger increases *** power consumption of the propane precooling cycle and hybrid refrigeration cycle increases with increasing methane content in the refrigerant,so the power consumption of the whole process increases *** effect of the methane content in the mixed refrigerant on the process evaluation index is more significant than that of the propane precooling temperature.

A growing demand for passenger and freight transportation, combined with limited capital to expand the United States （U.S.） rail infrastructure, is creating pressure for a more efficient use of the current line capacity. This is further exacerbated by the fact that most passenger rail services operate on corridors that are shared with freight traffic. A capacity analysis is one alternative to address the situation and there are various approaches, tools, and methodologies available for application. As the U.S. continues to develop higher speed passenger services with similar characteristics to those in European shared-use lines, understanding the common methods and tools used on both continents grows in relevance. There has not as yet been a detailed investigation as to how each continent approaches capacity analysis, and whether any benefits could be gained from cross-pollination. This paper utilizes more than 50 past capacity studies from the U.S. and Europe to describe the different railroad capacity defini- tions and approaches, and then categorizes them, based on each approach. The capacity methods are commonly di- vided into analytical and simulation methods, but this paper also introduces a third, ＂combined simulation- analytical＂ category. The paper concludes that Europeanrail studies are more unified in terms of capacity, concepts, and techniques, while the U.S. studies represent a greater variation in methods, tools, and objectives. The majority of studies on both continents use either simulation or a combined simulation-analytical approach. However, due to the significant differences between operating philosophy and network characteristics of these two rail systems, European studies tend to use timetable-based simulation tools as opposed to the non-timetable-based tools commonly used in the U.S. rail networks. It was also found that validation of studies against actual operations was not typically completed or was limited to comparisons with a base model.
