The Internet of Things(IoT)is integral to modern infrastructure,enabling connectivity among a wide range of devices from home automation to industrial control *** the exponential increase in data generated by these interconnected devices,robust anomaly detection mechanisms are *** detection in this dynamic environment necessitates methods that can accurately distinguish between normal and anomalous behavior by learning intricate *** paper presents a novel approach utilizing generative adversarial networks(GANs)for anomaly detection in IoT ***,optimizing GANs involves tuning hyper-parameters such as learning rate,batch size,and optimization algorithms,which can be challenging due to the non-convex nature of GAN loss *** address this,we propose a five-dimensional Gray wolf optimizer(5DGWO)to optimize GAN *** 5DGWO introduces two new types of wolves:gamma(γ)for improved exploitation and convergence,and theta(θ)for enhanced exploration and escaping local *** proposed system framework comprises four key stages:1)preprocessing,2)generative model training,3)autoencoder(AE)training,and 4)predictive model *** generative models are utilized to assist the AE training,and the final predictive models(including convolutional neural network(CNN),deep belief network(DBN),recurrent neural network(RNN),random forest(RF),and extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost))are trained using the generated data and AE-encoded *** evaluated the system on three benchmark datasets:NSL-KDD,UNSW-NB15,and *** conducted on diverse IoT datasets show that our method outperforms existing anomaly detection strategies and significantly reduces false *** 5DGWO-GAN-CNNAE exhibits superior performance in various metrics,including accuracy,recall,precision,root mean square error(RMSE),and convergence *** proposed 5DGWO-GAN-CNNAE achieved the lowest RMSE values across the NSL-KDD,UNSW-NB15,and

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption（BSFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DSMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BSFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,NOx,Smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.

Research on clothing patterns generation based on multi-scales self-attention improved generative adversarial network

Compressive failure of spruce wood rings reinforced with glass epoxy composite

We experimentally tested under radial compressive loads and statistically analyzed rings constructed from spruce wood and reinforced with glass *** used the Weibull distribution in statistical analysis,and tested five types of rings including unreinforced and composite reinforced（CR） as wound around the ring,oriented as two layers at angles of 45°,60°,75° and 90° to the column *** calculated 95 % reliability of load carrying capacity of the rings by Weibull *** highest load carrying capacity was obtained with CR rings at 60° to the axial axis of the *** carrying capacities of rings at CR90,CR75,CR60 and CR45 were 137,192,215 and 126 %greater,respectively,than unreinforced *** unreinforced rings,failures resulted from catastrophic breaking of wood *** of the reinforced rings failed catastrophically because the outer surface of the rings was reinforced with glass–epoxy composite *** began at the core of the materials under the composite layer for all specimens and resulted in failure of the rings.

How urban environments affect public sentiment and physical activity using a cognitive computing framework

Location-based social media data provides a new perspective for understanding the relationship between human behavior and urban ***,further research is needed to determine the application of cognitive computing in urban environments and physical *** study proposes a cognitive computing framework for urban environments and human activities that extracts knowledge from structured and unstructured data through natural language processing and computer vision *** paper utilizes a Naive Bayes Model constructed based on random reviews,as well as semantic segmentation and instant segmentation algorithms based on convolutional neural networks to obtain information about urban environments and human behavior from social media data and other geospatial *** study examines the relationship between the urban environment and residents’activity,including spatiotemporal behavior,public sentiment,and physical *** study found statistically significant results in subgroup analyses regarding the effects of urban environments on sentiment and physical activity,which also exhibited a strong social gradient consistent with traditional *** study validates the feasibility of using cognitive computing based on social media data to explore environmental behaviors,providing technical support for updating health promotion policies.

Multifunctional wearable e-textiles have been a focus of much attention due to their great potential for healthcare,sportswear,fitness,space,and military *** them,electroconductive textile yarn shows great promise for use as the next-generation flexible sensors without compromising properties and comfort of usual ***,a myriad of efforts have been devoted to improving performance and functionality of wearable ***,the current manufacturing process of metal-based electroconductive textile yarn is expensive,unscalable,and environmentally *** this work,we report the preparation of multifunctional reduced graphene oxide/linen(RGO/LN)fabrics through the reduction and the followed suction *** RGO/LN fabric could serve as the methane gas sensor,which exhibited high sensitivity,remarkable reliability and ***,the RGO/LN fabric sensor exhibited good moisture permeability and air *** present work reveals that RGO/LN fabric has great potential as wearable smart devices in personal healthcare applications.

Influence of Fabric Geometrical Structure on Bonding of the Fabric Reinforced Cement Composites

Influence of fabric geometrical parameters,including the number of filling yarns per 10 cm,yarn twist and fiber type,on bonding of the fabric reinforced cement composites is studied by fabric pull-out test and SEM microstructure *** results show that the bonding strength increase with the increase of the number of filling yarns per 10 cm in the range of this *** the influence of fabric count on the interfacial bonding is dual and there is a critical *** twist of yarns has a little effect on the bonding strength and interfacial bonding behaves of nylon fabric reinforced cement *** is an optimum twist *** this range,the bonding strength increase slowly with the increase of yarn *** this range,it is *** bonding strength is strongly affected by the fabric *** bonding between the nylon fiber fabric and cement is good;that of between glass fiber fabric and cement is moderate and that of between the carbon fiber fabric and cement is poor.

Affective Image Colorization

Colorization of gray-scale images has attracted many attentions for a long time. An important role of image color is the conveyer of emotions （through color themes）. The colorization with an undesired color theme is less useful, even it is semantically correct. However this has been rarely considered. Automatic colorization respecting both the semantics and the emotions is undoubtedly a challenge. In this paper~ we propose a complete system for affective image colorization. We only need the user to assist object segmentation along with text labels and an affective word. First, the text labels along with other object characters are jointly used to filter the internet images to give each object a set of semantically correct reference images. Second, we select a set of color themes according to the affective word based on art theories. With these themes, a generic algorithm is used to select the best reference for each object, balancing various requirements. Finally, we propose a hybrid texture synthesis approach for colorization. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first system which is able to efficiently colorize a gray-scale image semantically by an emotionally controllable fashion. Our experiments show the effectiveness of our system, especially the benefit compared with the previous Markov random field （MRF） based method.
