Hybrid Gene Selection Methods for High-Dimensional Lung Cancer Data Using Improved Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm

Lung cancer is among the most frequent cancers in the world,with over one million deaths per *** is required for lung cancer diagnosis and therapy to be effective,accurate,and *** expression microarrays have made it possible to find genetic biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prediction in a high-throughput *** Learning(ML)has been widely used to diagnose and classify lung cancer where the performance of ML methods is evaluated to identify the appropriate *** and selecting the gene expression patterns can help in lung cancer diagnoses and ***,microarrays include several genes and may cause confusion or false ***,the Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm(AOA)is used to identify the optimal gene subset to reduce the number of selected *** can allow the classifiers to yield the best performance for lung cancer *** addition,we proposed a modified version of AOA which can work effectively on the high dimensional *** the modified AOA,the features are ranked by their weights and are used to initialize the AOA *** exploitation process of AOA is then enhanced by developing a local search algorithm based on two neighborhood ***,the efficiency of the proposed methods was evaluated on gene expression datasets related to Lung cancer using stratified 4-fold *** method’s efficacy in selecting the optimal gene subset is underscored by its ability to maintain feature proportions between 10%to 25%.Moreover,the approach significantly enhances lung cancer prediction *** instance,Lung_Harvard1 achieved an accuracy of 97.5%,Lung_Harvard2 and Lung_Michigan datasets both achieved 100%,Lung_Adenocarcinoma obtained an accuracy of 88.2%,and Lung_Ontario achieved an accuracy of 87.5%.In conclusion,the results indicate the potential promise of the proposed modified AOA approach in classifying microarray cancer data.

Natural resources represent the base of our living and the entire economic *** depletion is a major challenge for the economic development of both developed and developing *** effi-cient use is an indispensable requirement and must be the aim of the public policies designed by the authorities *** this research,we have investigated the impact of the natural resources rent on the economic growth in some major wealthy economies of the world(P5+1 countries namely:US,UK,France,China,Russia,and Germany).We have applied a quantile-on-quantile regression to analyse this impact on different quantiles and a cross-sectional autoregressive distributed lag(CS-ARDL)approach for the panel of these six *** Dumitrescu-Hurlin panel causality test was also used to check the causality between natural resource rents and economic growth in these *** show a negative relationship between natural resources rent and economic growth for the panel but a different impact on quantiles in each *** for China and the US,a positive effect can be noticed for both lower and higher quantiles of natural resources and economic *** Dumitrescu-Hurlin causality test shows that natural resources can predict economic growth only in China,the U.S.,and the *** contrast,no causality was found for the other four countries included in the *** suggest that nations invest in wind and solar projects,use biofuels and nuclear energy,introduce a temporary profit tax to protect consumers from escalating energy prices,and increase energy efficiency in buildings and *** would benefit from a regulatory framework that is uniform and exhaustive,as well as easier to traverse and more receptive to innovation and ***-private partnership investments in innovation,innovation incentives,and environmental sector opportunities may foster long-term economic growth。

This study aims to demystify the role of green energy and green technology in establishing the nexus between behavioural intentions of tourists,technologies,and digital payments by using Perceived value(PV),Compatibility(CO),Perceived Enjoyment(PE),and Social Influence(SI)as a predictor variables,Trust(TR)and Satisfaction(SA)as a mediating variables and Behavioural Intentions(BI)as an outcome *** the empirical estimation,we employ smart PLS-SEM,TAM(Technology Acceptance Model)and SPSS and Tested the LCC *** findings suggest that green energy and perceived value have the highest positive impact on tourists’trust towards digital payments followed by compatibility,social influence and perceived ***,tourists’satisfaction and green technology is one of the important determinants of choosing any digital mode of payment,is mostly influence by perceived value,perceived enjoyment,compatibility and social ***,if we choose between trust and satisfaction,trust plays a significant role in exploring the behavioural intentions of tourists about green energy and green technology followed by tourists’*** addition,Tourists’trust and satisfaction are highly correlated and influence each *** study offers novel policy implications in terms of use of green technology and green energy in enhancing trust and satisfaction of tourists in order to deeper understanding of different dimensions of digital payments and M-wallets,and allowing them to explore the long-term value inherent of digital payments and M-wallets.

This paper investigates the effect of the circular economy on CO_(2)emissions growth by considering the role of energy transition,climate policy stringency,industrialization,and supply chain pressure from 1997 to 2020 using panel quantile Autoregressive Distributed Lags(QARDL)and the panel *** employ cointegration association in the long run among the variables,and the results of the two models confirm *** reveal that circular economy and climate policy stringency significantly negatively impact carbon *** the other hand,the energy transition,industrialization,and supply chain pressures are crucial to determining CO_(2)emissions in the short and long *** finding further explores that municipal waste generation recycling is considerable at the mean and upper 90th quantiles than the lower ***,the empirical results of the current study provide acumens for policymakers of advanced economies and emerging markets to maintain the balance among circular economy,energy transition,environmental policy stringency,and supply chain pressure for reducing CO_(2)emissions without halting economic growth and sustainable ***,practical implications are reported through the lens of carbon neutrality and structural changes.

This study explores the connections between renewable energy consumption(REC),non-renewable energy consumption(NREC),gross fixed capital formation(GFCF),the labor force(LF),and economic growth(GDP)in Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index(RECAI)countries for *** quantify the nexus between REC,NREC,and GDP while utilizing a production model framework and including the measures of labor and capital,for suggesting a phase-wise strategy to attain the sustainable development *** use robust methodologies including Lagrange Multiplier(LM)panel unit root tests with trend shifts,Westerlund cointegration test,LM bootstrap technique for cointegration with breaks,continuously updated fully modified(CUP-FM)and continuously updated bias-corrected(CUPBC)estimators,Augmented Mean Group(AMG)approach,fully modified ordinary least squares,dynamic ordinary least squares,Canonical Cointegrating Regression(CCR),and panel causality test proposed by Canning&*** compute non-parametric time-varying coefficients with fixed effects for seeing the impact of GFCF,LF,REC,and NREC on *** results press upon policymakers to shift toward clean energy and REC for attaining the environmental goals(SDGs 6,7,13,and 15)and the economic goals(SDGs 1,2,8,and 10).While this shift would help developed economies,which have already attained the economic goals,to progress on the front of environmental goals,it would enable developing countries to progress on both fronts in a balanced manner.

Coastal land transformation has been identified as a topic of research in many countries around the *** studies have been conducted to determine the causes and impacts of land ***,much less is understood about coupling change detection,factors,impacts,and adaptation strategies for coastal land transformation at a global *** review aims to present a systematic review of global coastal land transformation and its leading research *** 1,741 documents of Scopus and Web of Science,60 studies have been selected using the PRISMA-2020 *** revealed that existing literature included four leading focus areas regarding coastal land transformation:change detection,driving factors,impacts,and adaptation *** focus areas were further analyzed,and it was found that more than 80%of studies used Landsat imagery to detect land *** growth and urbanization were among the major driving factors *** review further identified that about 37%of studies included impact *** studies identified impacts on ecosystems,land surface temperature,migration,water quality,and occupational effects as significant ***,only four studies included adaptation *** review explored the scope of comprehensive research in coastal land transformation,addressing change detection,factor and impact analysis,and mitigation-adaptation *** research also proposes a conceptual framework for comprehensive coastal land transformation *** framework can provide potential decision-making guidance for future studies in coastal land transformation.

Tracing suspended and bed sediments during high and low water periods using geochemical characteristics-Case study:Vazrood watershed,northern Iran

Complete and comprehensive information about sediment dynamic and identification of hotspots of sediment production and transport are necessary for understanding the erosion processes and increasing the efficiency of soil and water conservation *** studies used the sediment fingerprint techniques to investigate the contribution of different sources in suspended and bed sediment yield of the ***,the contribution of various land use/land covers in suspended and bed sediment yield for the great Caspian Sea basin is in an aura of ambiguity and the present study was conducted to gather information about an important part of this area in northern Iran,where rangelands are located upstream of Hyrcanian forests and dense agricultural lands are located *** surface soil of different land use/land covers including forest,rangeland,agriculture and streambank lands were sampled in 30 *** and bed sediments were sampled in the watershed outlet in two high and low water *** characteristics of soil and sediment samples containing 59 elements were measured using ICP-OES GBC *** reliable and suitable tracers from 59 elements were then selected using Range test,Kruskal-Wallis and Discriminant Function Analysis,respectively,in FingerPro package of R *** results showed that for suspended sediment,streambank and rangeland had the highest contributions of 86.2%and 47.5%,respectively,in two high and low water *** bed sediment,in two high and low water periods,rangeland and streambank had the highest contributions of 73.8%and 84.4%,*** use change and especially human activities such as agriculture,road construction and development of residential areas along the main river riparian zone has led to a significant increase in suspended and bed sediments.

Pomegranate rind is abundantly available as a waste material. Pomegranate Rind Extract (PRE) can be applied to cotton fabrics for its natural colours, as a mordanting agent and also for imparting certain functional properties such as fire retardancy and antimicrobial properties. This paper reviews the feasibility of Pomegranate Rind Extract to improve the functional properties of cellulosic fabrics. studies show that varying concentrations and higher temperatures that were used to apply the extract on the fabric, resulted in enhanced functional properties. At a particular concentration, the treated fabric showed a 15 times lower burning rate in comparison with the control fabric. Also, antimicrobial efficacy has been observed against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Due to the natural colouring material, it can be used as a natural dye on cotton material. The fire retardancy of pomegranate rind extract was tested on jute material under varying alkalinity. Research has indicated that pomegranate rind extract could be used to dye polyamide as well. The rubbing and wash fastness of the finished fabrics is good. The light fastness was fair, and its antibacterial efficiency against tested bacteria was good.
