Terrestrial faulted lacustrine basin is considered as a favorable place for the development of source rocks,especially the fault basins in eastern *** on molecular composition study of saturated and aromatic hydrocarbons in the extracts of source rocks of the Yingcheng and Shahezi formations in the Lishu Fault Depression,it is revealed that the extracts of source rocks are provided with low ratio of Pr/Ph,low content of C24 tetracyclic terpanes,high content of tricyclic terpanes and gammacerane,relatively high content of C27 steranes in the sag belt and its periphery;relatively high ratio of Pr/Ph,relatively high content of tetracyclic terpanes and gammacerane,low content of C27 steranes and obvious advantages of C29 steranes in its gentle slope belt;with high ratio of Pr/Ph,high content of C19,C20 tricyclic and C24 tetracyclic terpanes,very low content of gammacerane and C27 steranes,and high content of C29 steranes in the edge of fault *** to the organic matter input and sedimentary environment,three types of source rocks have been established,which,respectively,are the mode of mixing organic matter input in deep and semi-deep lake,the advantage of terrigenous input in shallow lake and terrigenous input in shore-shallow *** first mode is supposed to generate oil and gas,while the second one tends to generate *** distribution characteristics of oil and gas in the Lishu Fault Depression are very likely to be controlled by hydrocarbon generating characteristic of different source rock types.

The change rules of displacement field characteristics of coal seam and tunners surrounding rock were obtained by means of numerical simulation-FLAC^3D and site observation, and according to engineering geology and exploitation technology of 1151 （3） fully mechanized top coal caving （FMTC） face in Xieqiao colliery. The research＇s results show that the top coal displacement on the top of FMTC face is apparently larger than those of the middle and the bottom, the top coal begins to move in the front of the face＇s wall, and the sub-level top coal-rock moves ahead of the low-level top coal-rock, the vertical displacement of top coal-rock increases gradually as the decreasing of distance to face Top coal and overlying strata in vertical direction are always in compressed state in the front of face, then the top coal begins to separate from the overlying strata at the upside of face. The support loading at face is mainly the deformation pressure due to top coal and main roof＇s movement, and it is not suitable for the FMTC face with traditional support design. Surrounding rock movement of the face is of near-field effect, the surrounding rock deformation is acute greatly near to the face, the ideas of supporting design for the tailentry and headentry should be changed from loading control to deformation control.

The application of a recent optimization technique,the artificial bee colony(ABC),was investigated in the context of finding the optimal well *** ABC performance was compared with the corresponding results from the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm,under essentially similar *** of out-of-boundary solution vectors was accomplished via the Periodic boundary condition(PBC),which presumably accelerates convergence towards the global *** searches were initiated from several random staring points,to minimize starting-point dependency in the established *** optimizations were aimed at maximizing the Net Present Value(NPV)objective function over the considered oilfield production *** deal with the issue of reservoir heterogeneity,random permeability was applied via normal/uniform distribution *** addition,the issue of increased number of optimization parameters was address,by considering scenarios with multiple injector and producer wells,and cases with deviated wells in a real reservoir *** typical results prove ABC to excel PSO(in the cases studied)after relatively short optimization cycles,indicating the great premise of ABC methodology to be used for well-optimization purposes.

Fluorite mineralization occurs along fractures and cracks of Middle Eocene and Pliocene limestones and marls in the north and northeast of the P?hrenk region (?i?ekdagi, Kirsehir). Tb/Ca – Tb/La and Y/Ho ratios were obtained from REE contents of fluorites which have revealed that mineralization is of hydrothermal type. Negative Ce anomalies and positive Eu anomalies reflect that hydrothermal solutions once had high oxygen fugacity. Fluid inclusion studies indicate that homogenization temperatures of mineralization varied between 90°C and 200°C, and hydrothermal solutions are composed of NaCl + KCl + MgCl2 + H2O. In addition, salinity measurements show that hydrothermal solutions were mixed with meteoric or rock formation water. Geologic setting, REE geochemistry and fluid inclusion studies suggest that mineralization was deposited from a solution generated by mixing of magmatic and meteoric water under epithermal conditions.

In the Northern Jiangsu basin there are high pure CO2 gas pools, low condensed oil-containing CO2 gas pools, high condensed oil-containing CO2 gas pools and He-containing natural gas pools, with the δ13Cco2 (PDB) values ranging from ?2.87%o to ?6.50%o, 3He/4He 3.71 × 10?6 to 6.42 × 10?6, R/Ra 2.64 to 4.5, 40Ar/36Ar 705 to 734, belonging to typical mantle source inorganic gas pools which are related to young magmatic activity. The gas layers occur in two major reservoir-caprock systems, the terrestrial Meso-Cenozoic clastic rock system and the marine Meso-Palaeozoic carbonate rock-clastic rock system. Controlled by the difference in the scale of traps in the two reservoir-caprock systems, large and medium-scale inorganic gas pools are formed in the marine Meso-Palaeozoic Group and only small ones are formed in the terrestrial Meso-Cenozoic strata. Inorganic gas pools in this basin are distributed along the two deep lithospheric faults on the west and south boundaries of the basin. Gas pools are developed at the intersected part of the ENE-trending faults that control the half graben and the E-W tenso-shear faults, mainly distributed near the Es1, Ny1 and Ny2-Q basalt eruption centres.

The giant Central Asian Orogenic Belt is an extensive accretionary orogen,of which the Solonker suture,as a major regional suture,coincides closely with an early Permian paleobiogeographical *** suture is considered to mark the location of the final closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean between the North China Craton and the Mongolian *** the closure time of the Paleo-Asian Ocean along the Solonker suture has generally been regarded as Late Permian-Early Triassic,uncertainty remains because of a lack of typical collisionrelated features(e.g.,high-grade regional metamorphism and well-developed fold-thrust structures)and a scarcity of *** present study reports Early Permian foliated gabbros and dikes(288-275 Ma)and Middle-Late Permian undeformed layered gabbros,strongly peraluminous granites,and I-type granites(265-254 Ma)in the Xinhure area along the northern margin of the North China *** Early Permian foliated intrusions have a subduction-related geochemical signature and were derived from partial melting of lithospheric mantle modified by subduction-related melts or fluids at the active margin of the North China *** contrast,the Late Permian undeformed layered gabbros and strongly peraluminous granites were derived from partial melting of lithospheric mantle and middle-upper crust,respectively,triggered by asthenospheric ***,a transition from an end-compressional to an extensional environment according to a transition from collision termination to postcollision of the North China Craton and Mongolian Terrane may have occurred between 275 Ma and 262 *** time span can be considered as the final closure time of the Paleo-Asian Ocean along the Solonker suture.

The Early Ordovician System is composed mainly of a series of carbonate platform deposits interbedded with shale and is especially characterized by a large number of organic reefs or buildups that occur widely in the research *** reefs have different thicknesses ranging from 0.5 m to 11.5 m and lengths varying from 1 m to 130 *** reef-building organisms include Archaeoscyphia, Recepthaculitids,Batostoma,Cyanobacteria and *** the research of characteristics of the reef-bearing strata of the Early Ordovician in the Yichang area,four sorts of biofacies are recognized,which are(1) shelly biofacies:containing Tritoechia-Pelmatozans community and Tritoechia-Pomatotrema community;(2) reef biofacies:including the Batostoma,Calathium-Archaeoscyphia, Pelmatozoa-Batostoma,Archeoscyphia and Calathium-Cyanobacteria communities; (3) standing-water biofacies:including the Acanthograptus-Dendrogptus and Yichangopora communities;and(4) allochthonous biofacies:containing Nanorthis-Psilocephlina taphocoense *** analysis of sea-level changes indicates that there are four cycles of sea-level changes during the period when reef-bearing strata were formed in this area,and the development of reefs is obviously controlled by the velocity of sea-level changes and the growth of accommodation *** authors hold that reefs were mostly formed in the high sea level *** of the development of several subordinate cycles during the sea-level rising,the reefs are characterized by great quantity, wide distribution,thin thickness and small scale,which are similar to that of Juassic reefs in northern *** research on the evolution of communities shows that succession and replacement are the main *** former is favorable to the development of reefs and the latter indicates the disappearance of reefs.

Carbon dioxide gas pools occur widely in the basins of eastern ***_2 gas-bearing beds are from the Teritary to Ordovician,and reservoirs are sandstone,carbonates and *** gases from these gas pools contain CO_2 of 62.86 ‰ —99.55 ‰.In the Mesozoic-Cenozoic extensional basins,such as Songliao,Bohai Bay,Subei,Sanshui and Zhujingkou,the δ^(13)C_(CO_2)values of CO_2 gas pools range from-2.65‰ to-8.83‰,mainly from-3.5‰ to-6.0‰,~3He/~4He ratios are 2.65R_a to 4.96R_*** regression equa- tion of CO_2 content and helium isotope ratio is CO_2(%)=61.3852+7.9745R/R_a,correlation coefficient r is 0.9430,CO_2 is mainly mantle-derived and magmatic origin.δ^(13)C_(CO_2)value of CO_2 gas from Well X in Yinggehai Basin is-3.80‰.~3He/~4He ratio is 0.07R_a,CO_2 is metamorphic ***-derived and magmatic CO_2 gases are discharged from the cross areas of northeastern trending and northwestern trending faults in these Mesozoic-Cenozoic extensional basins,in the shallow level,the CO_2 gases migrate and accumulate along northeastern trending extensional *** activity of the Neogene to Quaternary northwestern trending tectonic-magmatism zones in eastern China is another important discharge event for mantle-derived and magmatic gases,which have great contribution to the CO_2 gas pools in this *** CO_2 in the Yinggehai Basin is released by the dynamic metamorphism of shear fractures.

Seismic geomorphology and stratigraphic trap analyses of the Lower Cretaceous siliciclastic reservoir in the Kopeh Dagh-Amu Darya Basin

Lower Cretaceous Shurijeh–Shatlyk Formations host some of the main reservoirs in the Kopeh Dagh-Amu Darya *** in this area so far has focused on the development of structural traps, but recognition of stratigraphic traps in this area is of increasing importance. Integration of 3D seismic data with borehole data from thirteen wells and five outcrop sections was used to identify potential reservoir intervals and survey the hydrocarbon trap types in the East Kopeh Dagh Foldbelt(NE Iran). Analyses of horizontal slices indicated that the lower Shurijeh was deposited in a braided fluvial ***, three types of channel were identified in the lower Shurijeh Formation: type 1, which is low-sinuosity channels interpreted to be filled with non-reservoir fine-grained facies;type 2, which is a moderately sinuous sand-filled channel with good prospectively;and type 3, which is narrow, high sinuosity channel filled with fine-grained sediments. Results indicate that upper Shurijeh–Shatlyk Formations were deposited in fluvial to delta and shallow marine environments. The identified delta forms the second reservoir zone in the Khangiran Field. Study of the stratigraphic aspects of the Shurijeh succession indicates that both lower and upper Shurijeh reservoirs are stratigraphic reservoir traps that improved during folding.

This study expands on recent reports that direct development in the Chinese potamid freshwater crab Sinopotamon yangtsekiense involves the completion of all brachyuran larval stages (nauplius, zoea, and megalopa) inside the egg case during embryonic development. Detailed studies of embryonic development in this species revealed the presence of an additional larval stage (the egg-juvenile) between the megalopa and the free-living hatchling crab. We described and compared the appendages of the head, thorax, and abdomen of the egg-juvenile with those of the hatchling crab in S. yangtsekiense. Significant differences were found between most of the appendages of these two stages with a soft exoskeleton in the egg-juvenile, no joint articulation, a slimmer appearance, and a lack of setae when compared with the newly emerged free-living hatchling crab. These modifications of the appendages are related to the confinement within the egg case of the egg-megalopa and egg-juvenile during direct development, and the need for the free-living hatchling freshwater crab to move, feed, and respire. In marine crabs, the megalopa gives rise to the first crab stage whereas in freshwater crabs the egg-juvenile follows the megalopa and immediately precedes the free-living first crab stage.
