Assessing the behaviour and concentration of waste pollutants deposited between two parallel plates is essential for effective environmental *** the effectiveness of treatment methods in reducing pollution scales is made easier by analysing waste discharge *** waste discharge concentration analysis is useful for assessing how effectively wastewater treatment techniques reduce pollution *** study aims to explore the Casson micropolar fluid flow through two parallel plates with the influence of pollutant concentration and thermophoretic particle *** explore the mass and heat transport features,thermophoretic particle deposition and thermal radiation are *** governing equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations with the help of suitable similarity *** Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg’s fourthfifth order technique and shooting procedure are used to solve the reduced set of equations and boundary *** integration of a neural network model based on the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm serves to improve the accuracy of predictions and optimize the analysis of *** outcomes are displayed to analyze the characteristics of the relevant dimensionless parameters in the current *** reveal that concentration upsurges as the micropolar parameter *** concentration reduces with an upsurge in the thermophoretic *** upsurge in the external pollutant source variation and the local pollutant external source parameters enhances mass *** surface drag force declines for improved values of porosity and micropolar parameters.

Power Reallocation and Complexity Enhancement for Beyond 4G Systems

Competitiveness in the modern wireless systems’provided services is a key factor in the development,in addition to the adaptation to/harmonization of user ***,this paper discussed the quality of services from the point of view of the need for supporting the needed data *** this purpose,a benchmark based on Multi-Antenna Multiband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing has been proposed to compatible with Ultra-Wideband systems such as the fifth generation based *** order to enhance the system quality of service,the structure of the ultra-wideband system’s main stage;namely Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing has been modified by imposing a low complexity designed Haar-wavelets stage instead of the fast Fourier transform *** is in addition to reallocate the transmitted power in order to reduce the effect of one of the main drawbacks that is found in the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing;namely the peak-to-average power ratio problem.A MATLAB simulation has been performed in order to validate the propositions that have been made based on six different performance *** a result,the new propositions were achieved our targets by reducing the system’s complexity in terms of mathematical operations and by giving promising results in managing the transmitted ***,the effectiveness of such work has been verified and compared with four different work in the literature。

In order to study the dark current characteristics in a quantum wire infrared photodetector(QRIP),the average number of electrons in quantum wires(QRs) must be got,which is mostly too *** this paper we give a simple formula to calculate the average number of carriers in a quantum wire(QR) that can be easily evaluated by mathematical softwares,and then we use this formula to study dark current characteristics of a quantum wire infrared photodetector(QRIP).

Improving the reconstruction efficiency of sparsity adaptive matching pursuit based on the Wilkinson matrix

Sparsity adaptive matching pursuit(SAMP)is a greedy reconstruction algorithm for compressive sensing *** reconstructs signals without prior information of sparsity and presents better reconstruction performance for noisy signals compared to other greedy ***,SAMP still suffers from relatively poor reconstruction quality especially at high compression *** the proposed research,the Wilkinson matrix is used as a sensing matrix to improve the reconstruction quality and to increase the compression ratio of the SAMP ***,the idea of block compressive sensing(BCS)is combined with the SAMP technique to improve the performance of the SAMP *** simulations have been conducted to evaluate the proposed BCS-SAMP technique and to compare its results with those of several compressed sensing *** results show that the proposed BCS-SAMP technique improves the reconstruction quality by up to six decibels(d B)relative to the conventional SAMP *** addition,the reconstruction quality of the proposed BCS-SAMP is highly comparable to that of iterative ***,the computation time of the proposed BCS-SAMP is less than that of the iterative techniques,especially at lower measurement fractions.

Reservation-based dynamic admission control scheme for wideband code division multiple access systems

Call admission control (CAC) and resource reservation (RR) for mobile communication are two important factors that guarantee system efficiency and quality of service (QoS) required for different services in a very scarce resource as the radio spectrum. A new scheme was proposed which extends the concepts of resource sharing and reservations for wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) systems with a unique feature of soft capacity. Voice and data traffic were considered. The traffic is further classified into handoff and new requests. The reservation thresholds were dynamically adjusted according to the traffic pattern and mobility prediction in order to achieve the maximum channel utilization, while guaranteeing different QoS constraints. The performance of proposed scheme was evaluated using Markov models. New call blocking probability, handoff call dropping probability, and channel utilization were used as benchmarks for the proposed scheme.

In Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs),Clustering process is widely utilized for increasing the lifespan with sustained energy stability during data *** clustering protocols were devised for extending network lifetime,but most of them failed in handling the problem of fixed clustering,static rounds,and inadequate Cluster Head(CH)selection criteria which consumes more *** this paper,Stochastic Ranking Improved Teaching-Learning and Adaptive Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm(SRITL-AGOA)-based Clustering Scheme for energy stabilization and extending network *** SRITL-AGOA selected CH depending on the weightage of factors such as node mobility degree,neighbour's density distance to sink,single-hop or multihop communication and Residual Energy(RE)that directly influences the energy consumption of sensor *** specific,Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm(GOA)is improved through tangent-based nonlinear strategy for enhancing the ability of global *** the other hand,stochastic ranking and violation constraint handling strategies are embedded into Teaching-Learning-based Optimization Algorithm(TLOA)for improving its exploitation ***,SR and VCH improved TLOA is embedded into the exploitation phase of AGOA for selecting better CH by maintaining better balance amid exploration and *** results confirmed that the proposed SRITL-AGOA improved throughput by 21.86%,network stability by 18.94%,load balancing by 16.14%with minimized energy depletion by19.21%,compared to the competitive CH selection approaches.

Cooperative Relay Networks Based on the OAM Technique for 5G Applications

Orbital Angular Momentum(OAM)is an intrinsic property of electro-magnetic *** research has been witnessed in the last decades aiming at exploiting the OAM wave property in different areas in radio and *** pro-mising area of particular interest is to enhance the efficiency of the available communications ***,adopting OAM-based solutions is not priceless as these suffer from wave divergence especially when the OAM order is *** shall limit the practical communications distance,especially in the radio *** this paper,we propose a cooperative OAM relaying system consisting of a source,relay,and *** help the source to transmit packets to the destination by providing an alternative connection between source and *** cooperative solution aims on the one hand,through best-path selection,on increasing the communications *** the other hand,through the parallel transmission orders allowed by OAM carrying waves,the system could raise its total transmission *** results show that combining a cooperative relay with OAM improves the system throughput compared to using each element *** addition,the proposed cooperative relaying OAM out-performs the cooperative relaying non-orthogonal multiple access scheme,which is a key spectrally efficient technique used in 5G technology.

Orthogonal Codes-Based Dynamic Spectrum Access in Cognitive Radio Networks

Dynamic spectrum access(DSA) in cognitive radio(CR) networks became a challenging research area recently. In CR technology, the DSA between primary users(PUs) and secondary users(SUs) simultaneously can be achieved without degrading the performance of the PUs by SUs interference. This can be achieved by donating incentive power to the PUs in order to compensate the interference caused by the SUs. Consequently, PUs allow SUs to share the spectrum. In this paper, orthogonal codes-based dynamic spectrum access(OC-DSA) technique is proposed. OC-DSA technique employs orthogonality between PUs and SUs transmitted data symbols in addition to the incentive power donation. Compared to other techniques, the proposed technique uses a simple encoder at the SU network for the same PU network infrastructure. By applying orthogonal codes, the interference caused by SUs is canceled and hence the donated power to incentivize the PUs is reduced. Also, the SU packet rate is increased significantly. The simulation results show that the proposed technique provides effective improvements over other existing techniques in the signal strength and the bit error rate performance of both the PU network and the SU network at the receiver side. Moreover, the proposed technique requires less donated power to incentivize the PU and has higher packet rate.

Space-time Block Codes Based on Quasi-Orthogonal Designs

A new space-time block codes based on quasi-orthogonal designs are put forward. First the channel model is formulated. Then the connection between orthogonal /quasi-orthogonal designs and space-time block codes is explored. Finally we make simulations for the transmission of 4 bits/s/Hz and 6 bits/s/Hz using eight transmit antennas using the rate 3/4 quasi-orthogonal space-time block code and the rate 1/2 full-diversity orthogonal space-time block code. Simulation results show that full transmission rate is more important for very low signal noise ratio (SNR) and high bit error probability (BEP), while full diversity is more important for very high SNR and low BEP.
