In contemporary media ecosystem, media content is not only produced by employees rather it is also produced by its users in the form of curating stories, writing feedback, engaging in online discussions and at the same time disseminating the content through their personal online profiles. Keeping these views in mind, this paper critically examines the political economy of Ippodhu (Tamil Nadu based news website), a hyperlocal news application, in terms of digital labour, audience as participatory commodities and audience as producers, which Alvin Toffler terms as prosumer. Further, this paper explores how social media, analytics, or other analytical tools create value or anti-value for Ippodhu. The qualitative data obtained through in-depth interview reveals that readers/audiences of Ippodhu are commodified in two ways, first they consume the content of the website by spending their time, which will be sold to the advertisers and secondly by creating free content either in the writing stories, uploading photographs or even in the form of comment which will be consumed by other readers/audiences which result in the chain of production of values.

Improve Chinese Aspect Sentiment Quadruplet Prediction via Instruction Learning Based on Large Generate Models

Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis(ABSA)is a fundamental area of research in Natural Language Processing(NLP).Within ABSA,Aspect Sentiment Quad Prediction(ASQP)aims to accurately identify sentiment quadruplets in target sentences,including aspect terms,aspect categories,corresponding opinion terms,and sentiment ***,most existing research has focused on English ***,while ASQP has seen significant progress in English,the Chinese ASQP task has remained relatively *** inspiration from methods applied to English ASQP,we propose Chinese generation templates and employ prompt-based instruction learning to enhance the model’s understanding of the task,ultimately improving ASQP performance in the Chinese ***,under the same pre-training model configuration,our approach achieved a 5.79%improvement in the F1 score compared to the previously leading ***,when utilizing a larger model with reduced training parameters,the F1 score demonstrated an 8.14%***,we suggest a novel evaluation metric based on the characteristics of generative models,better-reflecting model *** results validate the effectiveness of our approach.

With the development of intelligent agents pursuing humanisation,artificial intelligence must consider emotion,the most basic spiritual need in human *** emotional dialogue systems usually use an external emotional dictionary to select appropriate emotional words to add to the response or concatenate emotional tags and semantic features in the decoding step to generate appropriate ***,selecting emotional words from a fixed emotional dictionary may result in loss of the diversity and consistency of the *** propose a semantic and emotion-based dual latent variable generation model(Dual-LVG)for dialogue systems,which is able to generate appropriate emotional responses without an emotional *** from previous work,the conditional variational autoencoder(CVAE)adopts the standard transformer ***,Dual-LVG regularises the CVAE latent space by introducing a dual latent space of semantics and *** content diversity and emotional accuracy of the generated responses are improved by learning emotion and semantic features ***,the average attention mechanism is adopted to better extract semantic features at the sequence level,and the semi-supervised attention mechanism is used in the decoding step to strengthen the fusion of emotional features of the *** results show that Dual-LVG can successfully achieve the effect of generating different content by controlling emotional factors.

Six Sigma is a rigorous, focused, and highly effective implementation of proven quality principles and techniques. A company"s performance is measured by the sigma level of their business processes. Traditionally companies accepted three or four sigma performance levels as the norm. The Six Sigma standard of 3.4 problems-per-million opportunities is a response to the increasing expectations of customers. DMAIC is an acronym for five phases of Six Sigma methodology: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control. This paper describes possibility of using Bayesian Network for retraining data mining model. Concrete application of this proposal is in the field of the churn. Churn is a derivation from change and turn. It can be defined as a discontinuation of a contract. Data mining methods and algorithms can predict behavior of customers. We can get better results using Six Sigma methodology. The goal of this paper is proposal of implementation churn (with Bayesian network) to the phases of Six Sigma methodology.

The number of films is numerous and the film contents are complex over the Internet and multimedia sources. It is time consuming for a viewer to select a favorite film. This paper presents an automatic recognition system of film types. Initially, a film is firstly sampled as frame sequences. The color space, including hue, saturation,and brightness value(HSV), is analyzed for each sampled frame by computing the deviation and mean of HSV for each film. These features are utilized as inputs to a deep-learning neural network(DNN) for the recognition of film types. One hundred films are utilized to train and validate the model parameters of DNN. In the testing phase, a film is recognized as one of the five categories, including action, comedy, horror thriller, romance, and science fiction, by the trained DNN. The experimental results reveal that the film types can be effectively recognized by the proposed approach, enabling the viewer to select an interesting film accurately and quickly.

In this paper,we aim at improving the video quality degradation due to high motions or scene changes. An improved frame-layer bit allocation scheme for H.264/AVC rate control is ***,current frame is pre-encoded in 16×16 modes with a fixed quantization parameter(QP).The frame coding complexity is then measured based on the resulting bits and peak signal-to-ratio(PSNR) in the pre-coding ***,a bit budget is calculated for current frame according to its coding complexity and inter-frame PSNR fluctuation,combined with the buffer *** results show that,in comparison with the H.264 adopted rate control scheme, our method is more efficient to suppress the sharp PSNR drops caused by high motions and scene *** visual quality variations in a sequence are also relieved.

A multiple MIPS 4Kc processor cores based interrupt processing system is introduced. The interrupt controller plays a key role in the high definition television （HDTV） system-on-a-chip （SoC） platform, especially when it is a multiple processor system. Based on a general introduction to the whole HDTV SoC platform, a layered interrupt controller and its implementation are discussed in detail. The proposed scheme was implemented in our FPGA verification board. The results indicate that our scheme is reliable and efficient. Meanwhile, as a functional intellectual property （IP）, the interrupt controller has reusability and expandability with the layered structure.

Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis(ABSA)is one of the essential research in the field of Natural Language Processing(NLP),of which Aspect Sentiment Quad Prediction(ASQP)is a novel and complete *** aims to accurately recognize the sentiment quad in the target sentence,which includes the aspect term,the aspect category,the corresponding opinion term,and the sentiment polarity of ***,existing approaches lack knowledge of the sentence’s syntax,so despite recent innovations in ASQP,it is poor for complex cyber comment ***,most research has focused on processing English text,and ASQP for Chinese text is almost *** usage is more casual than English,and individual characters contain more *** propose a novel syntactically enhanced neural network framework inspired by syntax knowledge enhancement strategies in other NLP *** this framework,part of speech(POS)and dependency trees are input to the model as auxiliary information to strengthen its cognition of Chinese text ***,we design a relation extraction module,which provides a bridge for the overall extraction of the framework.A comparison of the designed experiments reveals that our proposed strategy outperforms the previous studies on the key metric *** experiments demonstrate that the auxiliary information added to the framework improves the final performance in different ways.

Bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative decoding (BICM-ID) is a bandwidth efficient trans- mission scheme which is well suitable for next-generation mobile communications. The interleaver design is critical to the high performance of BICM-ID. In this paper we investigate the application of the chaos theory to the interleaver design to further improve the performance of BICM-ID. A new interleaving scheme based on the chaos theory is proposed. Compared with the random interleaver, the proposed approach has the ad- vantages including lower system delay and higher transmission efficiency. Simulation results in both additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading channel are provided, which demonstrates that the new interleaver is better than the random interleaver and exhibits excellent performance when applied to the BICM-ID system.
