Advances in Active Suspension Systems for Road Vehicles

Active suspension systems(ASSs)have been proposed and developed for a few decades,and have now once again become a thriving topic in both academia and industry,due to t.e high demand for driving comfort and safety and t.e compatibility of ASSs with vehicle electrification and *** review papers on ASSs mainly cover dynamics modeling and robust control;however,t.e gap bet.een academic research outcomes and industrial application requirements has not yet been bridged,hindering most ASS research knowledge from being transferred to vehicle *** paper comprehensively reviews advances in ASSs for road vehicles,with a focus on hardware structures and control *** particular,state-of-t.e-art ASSs that have been recently adopted in production cars are discussed in detail,including t.e representative solutions of Mercedes active body control(ABC)and Audi predictive active suspension;novel concepts that could become alternative candidates are also introduced,including series active variable geometry suspension,and t.e active wheel-alignment *** with compact structure,small mass increment,low power consumption,high-frequency response,acceptable economic costs,and high reliability are more likely to be adopted by car *** terms of control strategies,t.e development of future ASSs aims not only to stabilize t.e chassis attitude and at.enuate t.e chassis vibration,but also to enable ASSs to cooperate with ot.er modules(e.g.,st.ering and braking)and sensors(e.g.,cameras)within a car,and even with high-level decision-making(e.g.,reference driving speed)in t.e overall transportation system-strategies that will be compatible with t.e rapidly developing electric and autonomous vehicles.

enhanced Acceleration for Generalized Nonconvex Low-Rank Matrix Learning

Matrix minimization techniques that.employ t.e nuclear norm have gained recognition for t.eir applicability in tasks like image inpainting, clustering, classification, and reconstruction. However, t.ey come with inherent biases and computational burdens, especially when used to relax t.e rank function, making t.em less effective and efficient in real-world scenarios. to address t.ese challenges, our research focuses on generalized nonconvex rank regularization problems in robust matrix completion (RMC), low-rank representation (LRR), and robust matrix regression (RMR). We introduce innovative approaches for effective and efficient low-rank matrix learning, grounded in generalized nonconvex rank relaxations inspired by various substitutes for t.e?0-norm relaxed functions. t.ese relaxations allow us to more accurately capture low-rank structures. Our optimization strategy employs a nonconvex and multi-variable alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM), backed by rigorous t.eoretical analysis for complexity and convergence. this algorithm iteratively updates blocks of variables, ensuring efficient convergence. Additionally, we incorporate t.e randomized singular value decomposition technique and/or ot.er acceleration strategies to enhance t.e computational efficiency of our approach, particularly for large-scale constrained minimization problems. In conclusion, our experimental results across a variety of image vision-related application tasks unequivocally demonstrate t.e superiority of our proposed methodologies in terms of both efficacy and efficiency when compared to most ot.er related learning methods.

Fine classification of rice paddy using multitemporal compact polarimetric SAR C band data based on machine learning methods

Rice is an important food crop for human *** distinguishing different variet.es and sowing methods of rice on a large scale can provide more accurate information for rice growth monitoring,yield estimation,and phenological monitoring,which has significance for t.e development of modern *** polarimetric(CP)synt.etic aperture radar(SAR)provides multichannel information and shows great potential for rice monitoring and ***,t.e use of machine learning methods to build classification models is a controversial *** this paper,t.e advantages of CP SAR data,t.e powerful learning ability of machine learning,and t.e important factors of t.e rice growth cycle were taken into account to achieve high-precision and fine classification of rice ***,CP SAR data were simulated by using t.e seven temporal RADARSAt-2 C-band data ***,20-two CP SAR parameters were extracted from each of t.e seven temporal CP SAR data *** addition,we fully considered t.e change degree of CP SAR parameters on a time scale(ΔCP_(DoY)).Six machine learning methods were employed to carry out t.e fine classification of rice *** results show that t.e classification methods of machine learning based on multitemporal CP SAR data can obtain bet.er results in t.e fine classification of rice paddies by considering t.e parameters ofΔCP_(DoY).t.e overall accuracy is greater than 95.05%,and t.e Kappa coefficient is greater than *** t.em,t.e random forest(RF)and support vector machine(SVM)achieve t.e best results,with an overall accuracy reaching 97.32%and 97.37%,respectively,and Kappa coefficient values reaching 0.965 and 0.966,*** t.e two types of rice paddies,t.e average accuracy of t.e transplant hybrid(t-H)rice paddy is greater than 90.64%,and t.e highest accuracy is 95.95%.t.e average accuracy of direct-sown japonica(D-J)rice paddy is greater than 92.57%,and t.e highest accuracy is 96.13%.

Layered Coded Cache Placement and Cooperative Delivery with Sharing Links in Satellite-terrestrial Integrated Networks

Cooperative utilization of multidimensional resources including cache, power and spectrum in satellite-terrestrial integrated networks(StINs) can provide a feasible approach for massive st.eaming media content delivery over t.e seamless global coverage area. However, t.e on-board supportable resources of a single satellite are ext.emely limited and lack of interaction with ot.ers. In this paper, we design a network model with two-layered cache deployment, i.e., satellite layer and ground base station layer, and two types of sharing links, i.e., terrestrial-satellite sharing(tSS) links and inter-satellite sharing(ISS) links, to enhance t.e capability of cooperative delivery over StINs. thus, we use rateless codes for t.e content divided-packet transmission, and derive t.e total energy efficiency(ee) in t.e whole transmission procedure, which is defined as t.e ratio of traffic offloading and energy consumption. We formulate two optimization problems about maximizing ee in different sharing scenarios(only tSS and tSS-ISS),and propose two optimized algorithms to obtain t.e optimal content placement matrixes, *** results demonstrate that, enabling sharing links with optimized cache placement have more than 2 times improvement of ee performance than ot.er traditional placement schemes. Particularly, tSS-ISS schemes have t.e higher ee performance than only tSS schemes under t.e conditions of enough number of satellites and smaller inter-satellite distances.

A strong physical unclonable function with machine learning immunity for Internet of things application

PrBa_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(1.5)Fe_(0.5)O_(5+δ)(PrBSCF) has attracted much research interest as a potential triple ionic and electronic conductor(t.eC) electrode for protonic ceramic fuel cells(PCFCs). t.e chemical formula for Pr BSCF is AA'B_(2)O_(5+δ), with Pr(A-site) and Ba/Sr(A'-site) alternately stacked along t.e c-axis. Due to t.ese structural features, t.e bulk oxygen ion diffusivity is significantly enhanced through t.e disorder-free channels in t.e PrO layer;thus, t.e A site cations(lanthanide ions) play a pivotal role in determining t.e overall electrochemical propert.es of layered perovskites. Consequently, previous research has predominantly focused on t.e electrical propert.es and oxygen bulk/surface kinetics of Ln cation effects,whereas t.e hydration propert.es for PCFC systems remain unidentified. Here, we thoroughly examined t.e proton uptake behavior and t.ermodynamic parameters for t.e hydration reaction to conclusively determine t.e changes in t.e electrochemical performances depending on LnBa_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(1.5)Fe_(0.5)O_(5+δ)(LnBSCF,Ln=Pr, Nd, and Gd) cathodes. At 500 ℃, t.e quantitative proton concentration of PrBSCF was 2.04 mol% and progressively decreased as t.e Ln cation size decreased. Similarly, t.e Gibbs free energy indicated that less energy was required for t.e formation of protonic defects in t.e order of Pr BSCF to elucidate t.e close relationship bet.een hydration propert.es and electrochemical performances in LnBSCF cathodes, PCFC single cell measurements and analysis of t.e distribution of relaxation time were furt.er investigated.

Analysis of a New toothbrushing technique through Plaque Removal Success

Background/Aims: Determining t.e levels of oral health and t.e quality of dental care are fundamental to building concepts of oral health. this study aims to assess toothbrushing techniques using a technical and physical model, clarifying how children and pre-adults learn to brush t.eir t.eth. Materials and Methods: Data were recorded from 23 participants, both male and female of various ages, using a proposed electronic toothbrush equipped with X-Y-Z axes pathways. t.e data, collected before and after training experiments, were processed with MAtLAB to generate plots for t.e three axes. Results: t.e study revealed that most parameter values, such as Mean Difference Bet.een Amplitudes (MAV, 6.00), Wilson Amplitude (WAMP, 179.419), and Average Amplitude Coupling (AAC, 1.270), decreased from before to after t.e experiments. Furt.ermore, t.e average overall epoch lengths (AVG) showed a 75% reduction in movement amplitude bet.een t.e two experiments. Conclusion: Dentist observations indicated which brushing methods were acceptable or not. Analytical values suggest that individuals learn t.e toothbrushing technique effectively, and medical observations clearly demonstrate t.e success of t.e proposed method.
