This study examines the impact of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)on China's export potential at the product *** country–product-level data from the Centre d'Etudes Prospectives d'Informations Internationales-Base pour l'Analyse du Commerce International(CEPII-BACI),which includes 5,049 product types across 196 economies from 2007 to 2022,it explores the trade effects of the BRI and its mechanisms from the perspective of global value *** results indicate that the BRI has increased China's product export potential significantly to participating *** BRI has had the greatest impact on capital goods and labor-and capital-intensive *** effect has been most pronounced in China's exports to Southeast Asia,South Asia,and *** mechanism analysis reveals that the BRI has improved the division of labor in the global value chains for participating countries along the BRI,strengthened China's position in their output supply chains,and stimulated the growth of China's exports.

The fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge concerning the solar power curve, which maps solar irradiance and other auxiliary meteorological variables to photovoltaic output power, has been gathered and put forward in the preceding tutorial review. Despite the many pages of that review, it was incomplete in the sense that it did not elaborate on the applications of this very important tool of solar energy meteorology. Indeed, solar power curves are ubiquitously needed in a broad spectrum of solar forecasting and solar resource assessment tasks. Hence, this tutorial review should continue from where it left off and present examples concerning the usage of solar power curves. In a nutshell, this tutorial review,together with the preceding one, should elucidate how surface shortwave radiation data, be they ground-based, satelliteretrieved, or model-output, are bridged to various power system operations via solar power curves.

Agricultural drought, a prolonged disaster with widespread impacts, exerts tremendous pressure on farm household activities,agricultural production, and economic development. The western region of Jilin Province, China, located in a semi-arid zone, where persistents drought exacerbates ecological fragility. With a larger proportion of its population living in rural areas, the life and production activities of households are particularly susceptible to drought-related challenges. This study focuses on the western part of Jilin Province, utilizing remote sensing data to calculate the temperature vegetation dryness index(TVDI) as a soil moisture monitoring indicator for drought assessment. The livelihood vulnerability index(LVI) and the improved LVI-Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) index are employed to comprehensively assess the livelihood vulnerability of communes in the region and the impact of drought conditions on farmers' livelihood vulnerability. The results reveal a spatial trend of increasing drought severity from northeast to southwest, with temporally minor fluctuations observed in drought levels from 2005 to 2022. Livelihood vulnerability results indicate significant spatial and temporal variations, with education, health, food, and water playing key roles. Correlation analysis indicates a strong relationship between TVDI and LVI, highlighting the detrimental impact of drought on farmers' livelihoods. The study aims to provide a scientific foundation for managing livelihood vulnerability in the western part of Jilin Province and similar arid areas. Additionally, it seeks to offer strategic recommendations for policymakers to mitigate the adverse effects of drought, thereby reducing farmers' vulnerability and fostering sustainable socio-economic development.

Objective: To assess the effectiveness of the created program in enhancing the knowledge of emergency room(ER) nurses in the emergency management of cardiovascular diseases(CVD).Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest research design to identify the knowledge and skills of emergency depar tment(ED) nurses in managing CVD. There were 16 par ticipants in this study. The mean, standard deviation(SD), and t-test were used to analyze the ***: Before the par ticipants undergo the program, they have a mean(SD) score of 17.63(5.19). After the completion of the didactic par t of the program, they garnered a mean(SD) score of 19.94(5.22). Moreover, after completion of the practicum par t of the program, the mean(SD) score was 21.94(5.04). Comparing the scores before the program and after finishing the didactic part of the program, the t-test scored(t(15) =-3.87, P = 0.001). Further, comparing the scores before the program and after finishing the didactic and practicum par ts of the program, the t-test scored(t(15) =-5.57, P = 0.001).Conclusions: Based on the study's results, the researchers conclude that the respondents had acceptable knowledge regarding the emergency management of CVD before the program. However, the Cardiac Enhancement Program for Emergency Cardiac Care boosted their knowledge. Also, the program is effective in enhancing the par ticipants' knowledge of the emergency management of CVD.

This paper examines an epidemic predator-prey model with prey dispersal and Holling type-II functional response. In this model, it is assumed that the predator population suffers a transmissible disease. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of each of feasible equilibria and the existence of Hopf bifurcations at the coexistence equilibrium is addressed. Using Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle's invariance principle, we obtained the sufficient conditions for the global stability of the trivial equilibrium, the predator-extinction equilibrium, the disease-free equilibrium and the coexistence equilibrium, respectively. The paper also includes numerical simulations to illustrate the analytical results.

Innovative anti-cancer therapies that activate the immune system show promise in combating cancers resistant to conventional treatments. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is one such treatment, which not only directly eliminates tumor cells but also functions as an in situ tumor vaccine by enhancing tumor immunogenicity and triggering anti-tumor immune responses through immunogenic cell death (ICD). However, the effectiveness of PDT in enhancing immune responses is influenced by factors, such as photosensitizers and the tumor microenvironment, particularly hypoxia. Current clinically used PDT heavily relies on oxygen (O2) availability and can be limited by tumor hypoxia. Additionally, the tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment induced by hypoxia affects the anti-tumor immunity of tumor-infiltrating effector T cells. Meanwhile, the immunosuppressive myeloid-lineage cells are recruited to the hypoxic tumor tissue and exhibit higher immunosuppressive capabilities under hypoxia conditions. Consequently,numerous strategies have been developed to modulate tumor hypoxia or to create hypoxia-compatible PDT, aiming to reduce the effects of tumor hypoxia on PDT-driven immunotherapy. This review investigates these strategies, including approaches to alleviate, exploit, and disregard tumor hypoxia within the context of PDT/immunotherapy. It also emphasizes the role of advanced nanomedicine and its benefits in these strategies, while outlining current challenges and future prospects in the field.

In the era of the digital economy,digital trade has demonstrated strong vitality,becoming a crucial driving force for the highquality development of national and regional ***,understanding the resilience of digital trade in the face of external crises is an important *** the backdrop of Sino-US trade friction,this paper constructs a resilience index system for digital *** utilizes entropy method,kernel density estimation,and ArcGIS mapping to calculate and visually analyze the resilience of China’s digital trade from 2017 to ***,a Tobit model is constructed to explore the main influencing factors of digital trade resilience *** research findings indicate:1)temporally,during the period of Sino-US trade friction,China’s digital trade resilience shows an overall upward trend,but there are regional differences in resilience levels across the country,with a severe polarization phenomenon.2)Spatially,high resilience is observed in the eastern and central regions of China,while the western and northeastern regions exhibit low resilience.3)From a dimensional perspective,the resistance of digital trade resilience displays a spatial distribution of high values in the east and low values in the *** recovery force is aggregated along coastal areas,and the renewal force tends to aggregate along the eastern coastline.4)Factors such as economic scale,industrial structure,urbanization rate,government fiscal expenditure,and technological talents significantly promote the enhancement of digital trade *** study reveals the dynamic characteristics and influencing factors of digital trade resilience in responding to external shocks,providing theoretical basis and policy suggestions for enhancing digital trade resilience,and promoting high-quality economic development in China.
