目的　探讨皮肌炎皮损、肌细胞及浸润淋巴细胞凋亡的表达及皮质类固醇激素的影响。方法　对 2 2个标本用 TU NEL 原位末端标记法检测角质形成细胞、肌细胞及淋巴细胞凋亡。 10例用皮质激素者为 A组 ,12例未用者为 B组。结果　 A组角质形成细胞、肌细胞及淋巴细胞有较多的凋亡 ,凋亡指数 (AI)明显大于 B组(P<0 .0 5 )。皮质类固醇激素使用时间在 2周以内者 ,凋亡细胞较少。在观察中未发现凋亡与皮肤、肌肉病理损害程度有关。结论　皮质类固醇激素可能具有诱导角质形成细胞、肌细胞及淋巴细胞凋亡的作用 ,这可能是皮质类固醇激素的治疗机理之一。激素使用时间的长短似与细胞凋亡程度有关。

Introduction Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an autoimmune blistering disease that affects patients of advanced age. BP is characterized clinically by tense bullae on the extremities and trunk, histopathologically by subepi-dermal blisters with eosinophilic infiltration, and immunologically by autoantibodies to BP180 and BP230. Direct immunofluorescence of perilesional skin shows depositions of IgG and C3 in the basement membrane zone(1)BP rarely shows prominent milia formation, which is a hallmark of epidermolysis bullosa acquisita. We herein describe a 53-year-old man with refractory BP showing numerous milia during recovery.

Objective:Genital chlamydial infection is a globally common sexually transmitted infection caused by Chlamydia *** study aimed to describe the epidemiological characteristics of the disease reported in China in ***:Genital chlamydial infection cases were identified in 105 national sexually transmitted disease surveillance sites from the National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting System,which covers 31 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities in Chinese *** were collected and used to calculate the overall incidence,and the incidences per surveillance site,province,sex,and age ***:In 2019,there were 50,874 new cases of genital chlamydial infection reported in China,corresponding to an incidence of 55.32 cases per 100,000 population,and comprising a 9.98%increase from 2018(50.30 cases per 100,000 population).The highest incidences of genital chlamydial infection occurred in Zhejiang,Guangdong province,Guangxi autonomous region,and Hainan province(average 137.49-233.37 cases per 100,000 population).The incidence of genital chlamydial infection was much higher in females than males,with a female-to-male ratio of 3.09(84.55 per 100,000 population vs 27.35 per 100,000 population).The highest incidence of genital chlamydial infection was reported in the 20-24-year age group(184.70 cases per 100,000 population),followed by the 25-29-year age group(180.79 cases per 100,000)and 30-34-year age group(151.53 cases per 100,000 population).The highest proportion(68.30%)of genital chlamydial infection was reported from general hospitals,followed by matemal and child health hospitals(25.59%).Conclusion:The incidence rate of genital chlamydial infection in 2019 has an increase trend from 2018 and be a common sexually transmitted infection in *** incidence is much higher in females than in *** active young adults are the highest risk *** is substantial geographic diversity in incidence,with the highest

Metastases of uveal melanoma(UM)spread predominantly to the *** to low response rates to systemic therapies,liver-directed therapies(LDT)are commonly used for tumor *** impact of LDT on the response to systemic treatment is unknown.A total of 182 patients with metastatic UM treated with immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)were included in this *** were recruited from prospective skin cancer centers and the German national skin cancer registry(ADOReg)of the German Dermatologic Cooperative Oncology Group(DeCOG).Two cohorts were compared:patients with LDT(cohort A,n=78)versus those without LDT(cohort B,n=104).Data were analyzed for response to treatment,progression-free survival(PFS),and overall survival(OS).The median OS was significantly longer in cohort A than in cohort B(20.1 vs.13.8 months;P=0.0016)and a trend towards improved PFS was observed for cohort A(3.0 vs.2.5 months;P=0.054).The objective response rate to any ICB(16.7%vs.3.8%,P=0.0073)and combined ICB(14.1%vs.4.5%,P=0.017)was more favorable in cohort *** data suggest that the combination of LDT with ICB may be associated with a survival benefit and higher treatment response to ICB in patients with metastatic UM.

Background. Endothelial cells have a pivotal role in the initiation and development of inflammation. The dermal microvasculature undergoes distinctive morphological changes. Central to the angiogenetic process are endothelial cell division and migration controlled by local expression of the mitogenic factor. There is considerable evidence for the development of angiogenesis in psoriatic skin. Quantitative assessment of the endothelium in psoriasis demonstrated a fourfold increase in surface area of the superficial vascular plexus in lesional skin. The rate of vascular proliferation in active psoriasis is similar to that in other angiogenic pathologies. To identify vasoproliferation in the skin adds a useful tool in the assessment of psoriasis activity in future studies of its pathogenesis. The basal level of endothelemia reflects a continuous replacement of cells. The hyperproliferation in psoriasis stimulates physiological cell replacement. The higher replacement of blood vessel endothelial cells causes an increase in circulating cell levels in the bloodstream. Endothelemiamight serve as an indicator of changes in the blood vessel endothelium in psoriatics. Objective. The aim of the present study was to assess the changes in the amount of endothelial cells in the blood of psoriatic patients by comparing themwith healthy controls. Material and methods. Fifty-six patients suffering from psoriasis (PASI score 35.05 ±5.61) and 20 healthy subjects were estimated for quantitative endothelemia using the counting of endothelial cells in Burker’s chamber after their isolation together with platelets and the removal of the latter by addition of adenosine diphosphate. The cells were confirmed as endothelial in origin by positive staining for von Willebrand factor. The significance of the differences was estimated by Student’s t-test. Results. There were 2.02 ±0.21 (female) and 2.3 ±0.25 (male) endothelial cells in the control group and 4.6 ±0.59 (female) and 5.15 ±0.67 (male)

The role of Demodex folliculorum in perioral dermatitis is not satisfactory explained. Our purpose was to assess the density of D. folliculorum in perioral dermatitis and evaluate the relationship of the mite count to previous therapy with topical steroids. A standardized skin surface biopsy of the chin was performed in 82 female patients with perioral dermatitis and in 70 control female subjects. Patients who received previous topical steroid therapy had a significantly higher mite density than the patients who had received no topical steroids (P < 0.001). In the latter group of patients, the mite density did not differ significantly from that of the control group (P=0.629). Mite density increased significantly with the length of treatment with topical steroids (P < 0.001). Our results suggest that increased density of D. folliculorum in perioral dermatitis is a secondary phenomenon,associated with topical steroid therapy.

COVID-19 has seriously threatened public health,and transdermal vaccination is an effective way to prevent pathogen ***(MNs)can damage the stratum corneum to allow passive diffusion of vaccine macromolecules,but the delivery effciency is low,while iontophoresis can actively promote transdermal delivery but fails to transport vaccine macromolecules due to the barrier of the stratum ***,we developed a wearable iontophoresis-driven MN patch and its iontophoresis-driven device for active and effcient transdermal vaccine macromolecule ***/chitosan hydrogels with good biocompatibility,excellent conductivity,high elasticity,and a large loading capacity were prepared as the key component for vaccine storage and active *** transdermal vaccine delivery strategy of the iontophoresis-driven MN patch is“press and poke,iontophoresis-driven delivery,and immune response”.We demonstrated that the synergistic effect of MN puncture and iontophoresis significantly promoted transdermal vaccine delivery *** vitro experiments showed that the amount of ovalbumin delivered transdermally using the iontophoresis-driven MN patch could be controlled by the iontophoresis *** vivo immunization studies in BALB/c mice demonstrated that transdermal inoculation of ovalbumin using an iontophoresis-driven MN patch induced an effective immune response that was even stronger than that of traditional intramuscular ***,there was little concern about the biosafety of the iontophoresis-driven MN *** delivery system has a low cost,is user-friendly,and displays active delivery,showing great potential for vaccine self-administration at home.
