The combination of structural health monitoring and vibration control is of great importance to provide components of smart structures.While synthetic algorithms have been proposed,adaptive control that is compatible with changing conditions still needs to be used,and time-varying systems are required to be simultaneously estimated with the application of adaptive control.In this research,the identification of structural time-varying dynamic characteristics and optimized simple adaptive control are integrated.First,reduced variations of physical parameters are estimated online using the multiple forgetting factor recursive least squares(MFRLS)method.Then,the energy from the structural vibration is simultaneously specified to optimize the control force with the identified parameters to be operational.Optimization is also performed based on the probability density function of the energy under the seismic excitation at any time.Finally,the optimal control force is obtained by the simple adaptive control(SAC)algorithm and energy coefficient.A numerical example and benchmark structure are employed to investigate the efficiency of the proposed approach.The simulation results revealed the effectiveness of the integrated online identification and optimal adaptive control in systems.

In recent years,intelligent robots are extensively applied in the field of the industry and intelligent rehabilitation,wherein the human-robot interaction(HRI)control strategy is a momentous part that needs to be ameliorated.Specially,the efficacy and robustness of the HRI control algorithm in the presence of unknown external disturbances deserve to be addressed.To deal with these urgent issues,in this study,artificial systems,computational experiments and a parallel execution intelligent control framework are constructed for the HRI control.The upper limb-robotic exoskeleton system is re-modelled as an artificial system.Depending on surface electromyogram-based subject's active motion intention in the practical system,a non-convex function activated anti-disturbance zeroing neurodynamic(NC-ADZND)controller is devised in the artificial system for parallel interaction and HRI control with the practical system.Furthermore,the linear activation function-based zeroing neurodynamic(LAF-ZND)controller and proportionalderivative(posterior deltoid(PD))controller are presented and compared.Theoretical results substantiate the global convergence and robustness of the proposed controller in the presence of different external disturbances.In addition,the simulation results verify that the NC-ADZND controller is better than the LAF-ZND and the PD controllers in respect of convergence order and anti-disturbance characteristics.

Single-molecule localization microscopy(SMLM)enables three-dimensional(3D)investigation of nanoscale structures in biological samples,offering unique insights into their organization.However,traditional 3D super-resolution microscopy using high numerical aperture(NA)objectives is limited by imaging depth of field(DOF),restricting their practical application to relatively thin biological samples.Here,we developed a unified solution for thick sample super-resolution imaging using a deformable mirror(DM)which served for fast remote focusing,optimized point spread function(PSF)engineering,and accurate aberration correction.By effectively correcting the system aberrations introduced during remote focusing and sample aberrations at different imaging depths,we achieved high-accuracy,large DOF imaging(~8μm)of the whole-cell organelles[i.e.,nuclear pore complex(NPC),microtubules,and mitochondria]with a nearly uniform resolution of approximately 35 nm across the entire cellular volume.

Non-malleable code is an encoding scheme that is useful in situations where traditional error correction or detection is impossible to achieve.It ensures with high probability that decoded message is either completely unrelated or the original one,when tampering has no effect.Usually,standard version of non-malleable codes provide security against one time tampering attack.Block ciphers are successfully employed in the construction of non-malleable codes.Such construction fails to provide security when an adversary tampers the codeword more than once.Continuously non-malleable codes further allow an attacker to tamper the message for polynomial number of times.In this work,we propose continuous version of non-malleable codes from block ciphers in split-state model.Our construction provides security against polynomial number of tampering attacks and it preserves non-malleability.When the tam-pering experiment triggers self-destruct,the security of continuously non-malleable code reduces to security of the underlying leakage resilient storage.

Compared with conventional solid-state electrolytes, halide solid-state electrolytes have several advantages such as a wider electrochemical window, better compatibility with oxide cathode materials, improved air stability,and easier preparation conditions making them conductive to industrial production. We concentrate on a typical halide solid-state electrolyte, Li_(3)InCl_(6), predict the most stable structure after doping with Br, F, and Ga by using the Alloy Theoretic Automated Toolkit based on first-principles calculations, and verify the accuracy of the prediction model. To investigate the potential of three equivalently doped ground state configurations of Li_(3)InCl_(6) as solid-state electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries, their specific properties such as crystal structure,band gap, convex packing energy, electrochemical stability window, and lithium-ion conductivity are computationally analyzed using first-principles calculations. After a comprehensive evaluation, it is determined that the F-doped ground state configuration Li_(3)InCl_(2.5)F_(3.5) exhibits better thermal stability, wider electrochemical stability window, and better lithium ion conductivity(1.80 m S·cm^(-1) at room temperature). Therefore, Li_(3)InCl_(2.5)F_(3.5) has the potential to be used in the field of all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries as a new type of halide electrolyte.

In this paper, we consider the distributed generalized Nash equilibrium(GNE) seeking problem in strongly monotone games. The transmission among players is implemented through a digital communication network with limited bandwidth. For improving communication efficiency or/and security, an event-triggered coding-decoding-based communication is first proposed, where the data(decision variable) are first mapped to a series of finite-level codewords and, only when an event condition is satisfied, then sent to the neighboring agents. Moreover, a distributed communication-efficient GNE seeking algorithm is constructed accordingly,and the overrelaxation scheme is further taken into consideration. Through primal-dual analysis, the proposed algorithm is proven to converge to a variational GNE with fixed step-sizes by recasting it as an inexact forward-backward iteration. Finally, numerical simulations illustrate the benefit of the proposed algorithms in terms of saving communication resources.

To conveniently calculate the Wigner function of the optical cumulant operator and its dissipation evolution in a thermal environment, in this paper, the thermo-entangled state representation is introduced to derive the general evolution formula of the Wigner function, and its relation to Weyl correspondence is also discussed. The method of integration within the ordered product of operators is essential to our discussion.

An algorithm based on mixed signals is proposed,to solve the issues of low accuracy of identification algorithm,immeasurable intermediate variables of fractional order Hammerstein model,and how to determine the magnitude of fractional order.In this paper,a special mixed input signal is designed to separate the nonlinear and linear parts of the fractional order Hammerstein model so that each part can be identified independently.The nonlinear part is fitted by the neural fuzzy network model,which avoids the limitation of polynomial fitting and broadens the application range of nonlinear models.In addition,the multi-innovation Levenberg-Marquardt(MILM)algorithm and auxiliary recursive least square algorithm are innovatively integrated into the parameter identification algorithm of the fractional order Hammerstein model to obtain more accurate identification results.A simulation example is given to verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Metallic alloys with high strength and large ductility are required for extreme structural applications.However,the achievement of ultrahigh strength often results in a substantially decreased ductility.Here,we report a strategy to achieve the strength-ductility synergy by tailoring the alloy composition to control the local stacking fault energy(SFE)of the face-centered-cubic(fcc)matrix in an L1_(2)-strengthened superlattice alloy.As a proof of concept,based on the thermodynamic calculations,we developed a non-equiatomic CoCrNi_(2)(Al_(0.2)Nb_(0.2))alloy using phase separation to create a near-equiatomic low SFE disordered CoCrNi medium-entropy alloy matrix with in situ formed high-content coherent Ni_(3)(Al,Nb)-type ordered nanoprecipitates(∼12 nm).The alloy achieves a high tensile strength up to 1.6 GPa and a uniform ductility of 33%.The low SFE of the fcc matrix promotes the formation of nanotwins and parallel microbands during plastic deformation which could remarkably enhance the strain hardening capacity.This work provides a strategy for developing ultrahigh-strength alloys with large uniform ductility.

Systematic optimization of the photocatalyst and investigation of the role of each component is important to maximizing catalytic activity and comprehending the photocatalytic conversion of CO_(2) reduction to solar fuels.A surface-modified Ag@Ru-P25 photocatalyst with H_(2)O_(2) treatment was designed in this study to convert CO_(2) and H_(2)O vapor into highly selective CH4.Ru doping followed by Ag nanoparticles(NPs)cocatalyst deposition on P25(TiO_(2))enhances visible light absorption and charge separation,whereas H_(2)O_(2) treatment modifies the surface of the photocatalyst with hydroxyl(–OH)groups and promotes CO_(2) adsorption.High-resonance transmission electron microscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray absorption near-edge structure,and extended X-ray absorption fine structure techniques were used to analyze the surface and chemical composition of the photocatalyst,while thermogravimetric analysis,CO_(2) adsorption isotherm,and temperature programmed desorption study were performed to examine the significance of H_(2)O_(2) treatment in increasing CO_(2) reduction activity.The optimized Ag1.0@Ru1.0-P25 photocatalyst performed excellent CO_(2) reduction activity into CO,CH4,and C2H6 with a~95%selectivity of CH4,where the activity was~135 times higher than that of pristine TiO_(2)(P25).For the first time,this work explored the effect of H_(2)O_(2) treatment on the photocatalyst that dramatically increases CO_(2) reduction activity.
