Capturing the distributed platform with remotely controlled compromised machines using botnet is extensively analyzed by various researchers.However,certain limitations need to be addressed efficiently.The provisioning of detection mechanism with learning approaches provides a better solution more broadly by saluting multi-objective constraints.The bots’patterns or features over the network have to be analyzed in both linear and non-linear manner.The linear and non-linear features are composed of high-level and low-level features.The collected features are maintained over the Bag of Features(BoF)where the most influencing features are collected and provided into the classifier model.Here,the linearity and non-linearity of the threat are evaluated with Support Vector Machine(SVM).Next,with the collected BoF,the redundant features are eliminated as it triggers overhead towards the predictor model.Finally,a novel Incoming data Redundancy Elimination-based learning model(RedE-L)is built to classify the network features to provide robustness towards BotNets detection.The simulation is carried out in MATLAB environment,and the evaluation of proposed RedE-L model is performed with various online accessible network traffic dataset(benchmark dataset).The proposed model intends to show better tradeoff compared to the existing approaches like conventional SVM,C4.5,RepTree and so on.Here,various metrics like Accuracy,detection rate,Mathews Correlation Coefficient(MCC),and some other statistical analysis are performed to show the proposed RedE-L model's reliability.The F1-measure is 99.98%,precision is 99.93%,Accuracy is 99.84%,TPR is 99.92%,TNR is 99.94%,FNR is 0.06 and FPR is 0.06 respectively.

Most social networks allow connections amongst many people based on shared interests.Social networks have to offer shared data like videos,photos with minimum latency to the group,which could be challenging as the storage cost has to be minimized and hence entire data replication is not a solution.The replication of data across a network of read-intensive can potentially lead to increased savings in cost and energy and reduce the end-user’s response time.Though simple and adaptive replication strategies exist,the solution is non-deter-ministic;the replicas of the data need to be optimized to the data usability,perfor-mance,and stability of the application systems.To resolve the non-deterministic issue of replication,metaheuristics are applied.In this work,Harmony Search and Tabu Search algorithms are used optimizing the replication process.A novel Har-mony-Tabu search is proposed for effective placement and replication of data.Experiments on large datasets show the effectiveness of the proposed technique.It is seen that the bandwidth saving for proposed harmony-Tabu replication per-forms better in the range of 3.57%to 18.18%for varying number of cloud data-centers when compared to simple replication,Tabu replication and Harmony replication algorithm.

With the advent of computing and communication technologies,it has become possible for a learner to expand his or her knowledge irrespective of the place and time.Web-based learning promotes active and independent learning.Large scale e-learning platforms revolutionized the concept of studying and it also paved the way for innovative and effective teaching-learning process.This digital learning improves the quality of teaching and also promotes educational equity.However,the challenges in e-learning platforms include dissimilarities in learner’s ability and needs,lack of student motivation towards learning activities and provision for adaptive learning environment.The quality of learning can be enhanced by analyzing the online learner’s behavioral characteristics and their application of intelligent instructional strategy.It is not possible to identify the difficulties faced during the process through evaluation after the completion of e-learning course.It is thus essential for an e-learning system to include component offering adaptive control of learning and maintain user’s interest level.In this research work,a framework is proposed to analyze the behavior of online learners and motivate the students towards the learning process accordingly so as to increase the rate of learner’s objective attainment.Catering to the demands of e-learner,an intelligent model is presented in this study for e-learning system that apply supervised machine learning algorithm.An adaptive e-learning system suits every category of learner,improves the learner’s performance and paves way for offering personalized learning experiences.

In today’s real world, an important research part in image processing isscene text detection and recognition. Scene text can be in different languages,fonts, sizes, colours, orientations and structures. Moreover, the aspect ratios andlayouts of a scene text may differ significantly. All these variations appear assignificant challenges for the detection and recognition algorithms that are consideredfor the text in natural scenes. In this paper, a new intelligent text detection andrecognition method for detectingthe text from natural scenes and forrecognizingthe text by applying the newly proposed Conditional Random Field-based fuzzyrules incorporated Convolutional Neural Network (CR-CNN) has been proposed.Moreover, we have recommended a new text detection method for detecting theexact text from the input natural scene images. For enhancing the presentation ofthe edge detection process, image pre-processing activities such as edge detectionand color modeling have beenapplied in this work. In addition, we have generatednew fuzzy rules for making effective decisions on the processes of text detectionand recognition. The experiments have been directedusing the standard benchmark datasets such as the ICDAR 2003, the ICDAR 2011, the ICDAR2005 and the SVT and have achieved better detection accuracy intext detectionand recognition. By using these three datasets, five different experiments havebeen conducted for evaluating the proposed model. And also, we have comparedthe proposed system with the other classifiers such as the SVM, the MLP and theCNN. In these comparisons, the proposed model has achieved better classificationaccuracywhen compared with the other existing works.

Wireless Sensor Network(WSNs)is an infrastructure-less wireless net-work deployed in an increasing number of wireless sensors in an ad-hoc manner.As the sensor nodes could be powered using batteries,the development of WSN energy constraints is considered to be a key issue.In wireless sensor networks(WSNs),wireless mobile chargers(MCs)conquer such issues mainly,energy shortages.The proposed work is to produce an energy-efficient recharge method for Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Network(WRSN),which results in a longer lifespan of the network by reducing charging delay and maintaining the residual energy of the sensor.In this algorithm,each node gets sorted using the K-means technique,in which the data gets distributed into various clusters.The mobile charges execute a Short Hamiltonian cycle opposite direction to reach each cluster’s anchor point.The position of the anchor points is calculated based on the energy distribution using the base station.In this case,the network will act as a spare MC,so that one of the two MCs will run out of energy before reaching the BS.After the current tours of the two MCs terminate,regression analysis for energy prediction initiates,enabling the updating of anchor points in the upcoming round.Based on thefindings of the regression-based energy prediction model,the recommended algorithm could effectively refill network energy.

Advancements in cloud computing and virtualization technologies have revolutionized Enterprise Application Development with innovative ways to design and develop complex systems.Microservices Architecture is one of the recent techniques in which Enterprise Systems can be developed as fine-grained smaller components and deployed independently.This methodology brings numerous benefits like scalability,resilience,flexibility in development,faster time to market,etc.and the advantages;Microservices bring some challenges too.Multiple microservices need to be invoked one by one as a chain.In most applications,more than one chain of microservices runs in parallel to complete a particular requirement To complete a user’s request.It results in competition for resources and the need for more inter-service communication among the services,which increases the overall latency of the application.A new approach has been proposed in this paper to handle a complex chain of microservices and reduce the latency of user requests.A machine learning technique is followed to predict the weighting time of different types of requests.The communication time among services distributed among different physical machines are estimated based on that and obtained insights are applied to an algorithm to calculate their priorities dynamically and select suitable service instances to minimize the latency based on the shortest queue waiting time.Experiments were done for both interactive as well as non interactive workloads to test the effectiveness of the solution.The approach has been proved to be very effective in reducing latency in the case of long service chains.

An ensemble learning model for driver drowsiness detection and accident prevention using the behavioral features analysis

Purpose-In order to prevent accidents during driving,driver drowsiness detection systems have become a hot topic for researchers.There are various types of features that can be used to detect drowsiness.Detection can be done by utilizing behavioral data,physiological measurements and vehicle-based data.The existing deep convolutional neural network(CNN)models-based ensemble approach analyzed the behavioral data comprises eye or face or head movement captured by using a camera images or videos.However,the developed model suffered from the limitation of high computational cost because of the application of approximately 140million parameters.Design/methodology/approach-The proposed model uses significant feature parameters from the feature extraction process such as ReliefF,Infinite,Correlation,Term Variance are used for feature selection.The features that are selected are undergone for classification using ensemble classifier.Findings-The output of these models is classified into non-drowsiness or drowsiness categories.Research limitations/implications-In this research work higher end camera are required to collect videos as it is cost-effective.Therefore,researches are encouraged to use the existing datasets.Practical implications-This paper overcomes the earlier approach.The developed model used complex deep learning models on small dataset which would also extract additional features,thereby provided a more satisfying result.Originality/value-Drowsiness can be detected at the earliest using ensemble model which restricts the number of accidents.

By advances in cloud computing, users are allowed to remotely store their data in the cloud, manage the stored data without limitation of time and place, and give rights to visitors that want to access to their data.As may no longer possess data physically, the data owner has to ensure the integrity of the data with the public key given by Public key infrastructure(PKI).However,there are many security risks of the traditional PKI and the certificate management is complex.We utilize elliptic curve group to propose a certificateless signature to solve the above problem.To check the integrity of files stored in the cloud, we design a certificateless public verification mechanism based on the signature and further extend it to support batch auditing tasks.Meanwhile, an efficient key updating method is proposed to provide visitors a friendly data success environment.The security analysis proves that the proposed scheme is secure under the discrete logarithm assumption.Extensive theoretical analyses and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Educational institutions showing interest to find the opinion of the students about their course and the instructors to enhance the teaching-learning process.For this,most research uses sentiment analysis to track students’behavior.Traditional sentence-level sentiment analysis focuses on the whole sentence sentiment.Previous studies show that the sentiments alone are not enough to observe the feeling of the students because different words express different sentiments in a sentence.There is a need to extract the targets in a given sentence which helps to find the sentiment towards those targets.Target extraction is the subtask of targeted sentiment analysis.In this paper,we proposed the innovative model to find the targets of the given sentence using Bi-Integrated Conditional Random Fields(CRF).A Parallel fusion neural network model is designed to perform this task.We evaluate the model using the Michigan dataset and we build a dataset for target extraction from student reviews.The experimental results show that our proposed fusion model achieves better results compared to baseline models.
