Objective:Globally 37.9 million people are living with HIV/AIDS,and with mortality rates declining,there is an increasing focus on comorbidities including musculoskeletal(MSK)***,the aim of this scoping review was to generate and summarize an overview of the existing scientific literature dealing with MSK complaints in people living with HIV/AIDS(PLWHAs).Methods:This scoping review followed the five-stage methodological framework proposed by Arksey and O'Malley.

Objective：To investigate and analyze the characteristics of Meridian Sinew（Jingjin） syndrome in patients with whiplash-associated disorders（WAD）.Methods：From August 2010 to September 2011,313 WAD cases from New York and California states were *** survey mostly collects the information of ＂Sinew Knotted Points＂ and symptoms of four types of Meridian Sinew differentiation—Taiyang,Shaoyin,Shaoyang and ***：Among the cases which are on the average of medium injury level,the higher frequency of ＂Sinew Knotted Points＂ tenderness were found on Jianwaishu（SI 14）,Jianzhongshu（SI 15）,Tianchuang（SI 16）,C3-6 Spinous Process,Dazhui（GV 14）,Fengchi（GB 20）,Tianliao（SJ 15） and Tianding（LI 17）.The most commonly presented symptoms were widespread spasm and tenderness in the neck（Taiyang）,difficulty in lateral flexion（Shaoyang）,problems of extension and flexion（Taiyang）,and stiffness and pain during neck movement（Yangming）.Among the cases,237 cases（75.72%） were related to Taiyang Meridian Sinew syndrome,82 cases（26.20%） to Shaoyin syndrome and 175（55.91%） and176（56.23%） cases to Shaoyang and Yangming syndrome *** most of cases presented in a combination *** syndrome distribution under Grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ reflected that more combination of the Meridian Sinew syndromes in the whiplash injury patients which is resulted from more severity of ***：It is practical to identify the location of abnormality through Meridian Sinew differentiation,considering both ＂Sinew Knotted Points＂ tenderness and corresponding symptoms,for the local neck symptoms of WAD.

Autophagy is a prosurvival mechanism for the clearance of accumulated abnormal proteins,damaged organelles,and excessive lipids within mammalian cells.A growing body of data indicates that autophagy is reduced in aging *** reduction leads to various diseases,such as myocardial hypertrophy,infarction,and *** studies in animal models of an aging heart showed that fasting-induced autophagy improved cardiac function and *** improvement is related to autophagic clearance of damaged cellular components via either bulk or selective autophagy(such as mitophagy).In this editorial,we summarize the mechanisms of autophagy in normal and aging *** addition,the protective effect of fasting-induced autophagy in cardiac aging has been highlighted.

Background: This paper describes and displays the spinal radiological anatomy and associated pathology in a Macaca fascicularis and compares it to the spinal anatomy of humans. Animal models are commonly used in research. As compared to Macaca mulatta, the anatomy of M. fascicularis is less well described in the literature. Materials and methods: The authors anatomically reconstructed and reviewed the defleshed spine of a single adult M. fascicularis visually, radiographically, and with high resolution CT. Results: 7 cervical, 12 thoracic, 6 lumbar, 3 sacral, and 16 caudal vertebrae were identified. Similarities in the spine to humans were seen as well as differences such as the beaked anterior arch of C1, the anterior pointed lower lumbar vertebrae, the upward curved transverse processes, and presence of three sacral segments. Degenerative changes were seen at multiple locations similar to humans though most pronounced at T3-4. Conclusions: This paper addresses the normal spinal anatomy and degenerative changes in an adult M. fascicularis and compares it to humans.

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the effect and safety of Zuogui pill and Yougui pill, classic Y/n and Yang tonic formula （CYYTF）, in the treatment of osteoporosis and the underlying mechanism. METHODS： Participants aged 55 to 75 with osteoporosis and Kidney deficiency in Traditional Chi-nese Medicine （TCM） will be included and randomly allocated into two groups： treatment group and control group. Participants in the treatment group were treated with Zuogui pill or Yougui pill TCM formula granule, while the control group received pla- cebo. Primary outcomes are the lumbar spine on bone mineral density （BMD）（L1-4） and femoral BMD. Secondary outcomes include pain intensity, health-related quality of life （HRQoL）, bone turn- over markers and safety. RESULTS： Totally 200 patients were enrolled from December 2014 to April 2016 from four hospitals. There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups at baseline （P 〉 0.05） and it was good to comparability. Statistically signifi- cant differences between the two groups were ob- served for the lumbar BMD （L1-4）, pain VAS scores and HRQoL at six months and twelve months and femoral BMD at twelve months （P 〈 0.05）, but no significant differences for femoral BMD and bone turnover markers at six months （P 〉 0.05）. More- over, significant difference was observed at differ- ent time before and after treatment in terms of lum- bar spine （L1-4） BMD, femoral BMD, pain VAS scores and health-related quality of life, and there was an crossover effect between the time and groups be- fore and after treatment. In additional, in the treat- ment group, 8 patients lost to follow-up and 3 patients had adverse events （AEs） and in the control group, 10 patients lost to follow-up and 2 patients had AEs. No remarkable differences were observed between the two groups with regard to AEs, lost rate and safety （P 〉 0.05）. Objective： To observe the clinical effect of tuina plus traction for cervical distortion in teenagers. Methods： Tuina plus traction was applied to 40 teenagers with cervical distortion once every other day, and 10 days make up 1 treatment course. The therapeutic effect was evaluated after 2 courses. Result： Significant changes occurred after the treatment： 15 cases got correction, 20 cases got substantial improvement and 5 cases got certain improvement. Conclusion： Tuina plus traction works effectively for abnormal cervical physiological curve in teenagers.

Low back pain is a vital musculoskeletal disease that impairs life quality,leads to disability and imposes heavy economic burden on the society,while it is greatly attributed to intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD).However,the existing treatments,such as medicines,chiropractic adjustments and surgery,cannot achieve ideal disc ***,advanced bioactive therapies are implemented,including stem cells delivery,bioreagents administration,and implantation of biomaterials *** these researches,few reported unsatisfying regenerative ***,these advanced therapies have barely achieved successful clinical *** main reason for the inconsistency between satisfying preclinical results and poor clinical translation may largely rely on the animal models that cannot actually simulate the human disc *** inappropriate animal model also leads to difficulties in comparing the efficacies among biomaterials in different ***,animal models that better simulate the clinical charateristics of human IDD should be *** addition,in vivo regenerative outcomes should be carefully evaluated to obtain robust ***,many researches neglect certain critical characteristics,such as adhesive properties for biomaterials blocking annulus fibrosus defects and hyperalgesia that is closely related to the clinical manifestations,e.g,low back ***,in this review,we summarized the animal models established for IDD,and highlighted the proper models and parameters that may result in acknowledged IDD ***,we discussed the existing biomaterials for disc regeneration and the characteristics that should be considered for regenerating different parts of ***,well-established assays and parameters for in vivo disc regeneration are explored.
