Theoretical investigation of nonlinear electrostatic ion-acoustic cnoidal waves(IACWs) is presented in magnetized electron–positron–ion plasma with nonextensive electrons and Maxwellian positrons. Using reductive perturbation technique, Korteweg–de Vries equation is derived and its cnoidal wave solution is analyzed. For given plasma parameters, our model supports only positive potential(compressive) IACW structures. The effect of relevant plasma parameters(viz., nonextensive parameter q, positron concentration p, temperature ratio σ,obliqueness l3) on the characteristics of IACWs is discussed in detail.

Electron acoustic(EA)solitary waves(SWs)are studied in an unmagnetized plasma consisting of hot electrons(following Cairns-Tsalli distribution),inertial cold electrons,and stationary *** employing a reductive perturbation technique(RPT),the nonlinear Korteweg–de Vries(KdV)equation is derived and its SW solution is ***,the effects of plasma parameters such as the nonextensivity parameter(q),the nonthermality of electrons(α),and the cold-to-hot electron density ratio(β)are investigated.

Nickel hydroxide was used as the positive electrode material in rechargeable alkaline batteries, which plays a significant role in the field of electric energy storage devices. β-nickel hydroxide（β-Ni（OH）2 ） was prepared from nickel sulphate solution using potassium hydroxide as a precipitating agent. Pure β-phase of nickel hydroxide was confirmed from XRD and FT-IR studies. The effects of TiO2 additive on the β-Ni（OH）2 electrode performance are examined. The structure and property of the TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 were characterized by XRD, TG-DTA and SEM analysis. A pasted–type electrode is prepared using nickel hydroxide powder as the main active material on a nickel sheet as a current collector. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies were performed to evaluate the electrochemical performance of the β-Ni（OH）2 and TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 electrodes in 6 M KOH electrolyte. Anodic（Epa） and cathodic（Epc）peak potentials are found to decrease after the addition of TiO 2 into β-Ni（OH）2 electrode material. Further,addition of TiO2 is found to enhance the reversibility of the electrode reaction and also increase the separation of the oxidation current peak of the active material from the oxygen evolution current. Compared with pure β-Ni（OH）2 lectrode,TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 electrode is found to exhibit higher proton diffusion coefficient（D） and lower charge transfer resistance. These findings suggest that the TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 electrode possess improved electrochemical properties and thus can be recognized as a promising candidate for the battery electrode applications.

Ceramic powders of Na_(1−x)Li_(x)NbO_(3)(LNN)have been synthesized by an aqueous sol-gel *** solid solutions were prepared from Na-Li-Nb precursor *** precursor was synthesized from Na-EDTA,Li-EDTA and Nb-citrate complexes and they acted as the source of Na,Li and Nb,*** acid and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA)were used as the chelating agents for Na,Li and *** precursor gel was calcinated on a muffle furnace at 750℃for one hour and this provided the ceramic *** of LNN-biopolymers were prepared by the encapsulation of the ceramic structures into the biopolymeric *** ceramic structures and composites were characterized by FTIR,NMR,TG and SEM analysis.

Plants are naturally occurring sources of drugs and can be used to minimize the problem of curing diseases up to the greater extent;for that purpose,we select a medicinal plant named Cypreus *** extract is taken in the ethanol *** crude extract of this medicinal plant is taken in Erlenmeyer flask tapped with a cotton *** crude extract is diluted to different concentrations in order to check the antibacterial activity at different concentrations of *** main aim of our work is to determine the antibacterial sensitivity test of Cypreus compressus against two types of bacteria i.e.,*** and *** all the different concentrations,the most significant was 20 mg for both types of bacteria i.e.,*** and *** showing the greater zone of inhibition among all other concentrations that may use as an antibacterial agent in the future.

222Rn and 220Rn enter the atmosphere mainly by crossing the air interface of either soil-air or building materials. The existence of relatively high concentration maintains a large 222Rn, 220Rn concentration gradient between the materials and open air. The present paper deals with the experimental measurement of 222Rn, 220Rn concentrations and the associated inhalation dose rates due to them in the dwellings of different characteristics. Higher concentrations and dose rates were observed in lower volume houses and the houses with granite flooring.
