Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithm for Grouping Decision Variables Based on Extreme Point Pareto Frontier

The existing algorithms for solving multi-objective optimization problems fall into three main categories:Decomposition-based,dominance-based,and *** multi-objective optimization problemsmainly focus on objectives,treating decision variables as a total variable to solve the problem without consideringthe critical role of decision variables in objective *** seen,a variety of decision variable groupingalgorithms have been ***,these algorithms are relatively broad for the changes of most decisionvariables in the evolution process and are time-consuming in the process of finding the Pareto *** solvethese problems,a multi-objective optimization algorithm for grouping decision variables based on extreme pointPareto frontier(MOEA-DV/EPF)is *** algorithm adopts a preprocessing rule to solve the Paretooptimal solution set of extreme points generated by simultaneous evolution in various target directions,obtainsthe basic Pareto front surface to determine the convergence effect,and analyzes the convergence and distributioneffects of decision *** the later stages of algorithm optimization,different mutation strategies are adoptedaccording to the nature of the decision variables to speed up the rate of evolution to obtain excellent individuals,thusenhancing the performance of the *** validation of the test functions shows that this algorithmcan solve the multi-objective optimization problem more efficiently.

Insights into the interface of NiCo_(2)O_(4) spinel/LaCoO_(3) perovskite nano-composite for CO and soot oxidation

In the quest for the development of thermally stable,highly active and low-cost catalysts for use in catalyzed diesel particulate filter,nano-composites are new areas of ***,we reported the easy synthesis of spinel NiCo_(2)O_(4)/perovskite LaCoO_(3) nano-composite,and its individual oxides NiCo_(2)O_(4)and LaCoO_(3) for *** detailed insights into the physio-chemical characteristics of formed NiCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) nano-composite were done based on various characterization analysis such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),N_(2) physiosorption,scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The characterization analysis of NiCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) revealed the successful formation of a chemical interface possessing strong interfacial interaction,resulting in desirable physicochemical characteristics such as small crystallite size,abundant mesoporosity,high specific surface area and activation of surface lattice *** to the desirable characteristics,the activity results over NiCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) nano-composite showed the excellent CO oxidation performance and high soot oxidation activity,recyclability and thermal *** work mainly attempts to emphasize the effectiveness of the facile,inexpensive and conventionally used precipitation method for the successful formation of highly efficient nano-composites.

The increasing demand for hydrogen energy to address environmental issues and achieve carbon neutrality has elevated interest in green hydrogen production,which does not rely on fossil *** various hydrogen production technologies,anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer(AEMWE)has emerged as a next-generation technology known for its high hydrogen production efficiency and its ability to use non-metal ***,this technology faces significant challenges,particularly in terms of the membrane durability and low ionic *** address these challenges,research efforts have focused on developing membranes with a new backbone structure and anion exchange groups to enhance durability and ionic ***,the super-acid-catalyzed condensation(SACC)synthesis method stands out due to its user convenience,the ability to create high molecular weight(MW)polymers,and the use of oxygen-tolerant organic *** the synthesis of anion exchange membranes(AEMs)using the SACC method began in 2015,and despite growing interest in this synthesis approach,there remains a scarcity of review papers focusing on AEMs synthesized using the SACC *** review covers the basics of SACC synthesis,presents various polymers synthesized using this method,and summarizes the development of these polymers,particularly their building blocks including aryl,ketone,and anion exchange *** systematically describe the effects of changes in the molecular structure of each polymer component,conducted by various research groups,on the mechanical properties,conductivity,and operational stability of the *** review will provide insights into the development of AEMs with superior performance and operational stability suitable for water electrolysis applications.

Nickel-rich layered oxide cathode(LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1−x−y)O_(2),x>0.5,NCM)shows substantial potential for applications in longer-range electrical ***,the rapid capacity decay and serious safety concerns impede its practical *** work provides a hydrogen-bonded organic framework(HOF)modification strategy to simultaneously improve the electrochemical performance,thermal stability and incombustibility of *** cyanurate(MCA),as a low-cost and reliable flame-retardant HOF,was implemented in the separator modification layer,which can prevent the battery short circuit even at a high *** addition,the supermolecule properties of MCA provide unique physical and chemical microenvironment for regulating ion-transport behavior in *** MCA coating layer enabled the nickel-rich layered oxide cathode with a high-capacity retention of 90.3%after 300 cycles at 1.0 ***,the usage of MCA in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)affords a simple,low-cost and efficient strategy to improve the security and service life of nickel-rich layered cathodes.

Two distinctive rearranged 19-nor-7,8-seco-labdane diterpenoids(1 and 2)with a novel tetracyclo[5.***.1.0^(2,5.)0^(4,10)]decane skeleton,a derivative of the open tetrahydrofuran ring(7),three dimeric compounds(8-10),and four revised homologs(3-6)were obtained from Chinese liverwort Pallavicinia *** structures were identified via combined analysis of their spectroscopic data,single-crystal X-ray diffraction patterns,and ECD *** light-driven conversion of compound 5 to compounds 1-4 demonstrated that photochemically induced postmodification involved in biosynthesis is an important way to diversify natural structures.A preliminary cytotoxicity assay revealed that compound 5 showed significant inhibition in the human prostate cancer(PC-3)cell line via an apoptotic pathway.

New approach for particle size and shape analysis of iron-based oxygen carriers at multiple oxidation states

One of the crucial issues in the chemical looping technology lies in its bed material:the oxygen *** size analysis of an oxygen carrier is important since in a fluidized bed the material can only work well within a specific size *** the favorable size ranges for oxygen carrier materials have already been reported,none of the published studies has analyzed the particle size and shape of oxygen carriers in ***,the effect of oxygen carriers'oxidation degree on such properties has not been considered *** study aimed to report the particle size and shape analysis of five iron-based oxygen carriers,one natural ore,one synthetic material,and three residue products,at different oxidation degrees using dynamic image analysis(DIA).The oxygen carriers were prepared at different mass conversion degrees in a fluidized bed batch *** size distribution,sphericity,and aspect ratio of the oxygen carrier particles were examined experimentally using a Camsizer *** results show that the DIA method was successfully able to analyze the particle size and shape of our oxygen carriers with satisfying accuracy for *** oxidation state of the investigated materials seems to only affect the particle size and shape of oxygen carriers to a minor ***,exposures to redox cycles in a fluidized bed reactor may alter the particle size and shape of most oxygen carriers.

This paper presents a systematic investigation of the microstructure and magnetocaloric properties of melt-extracted Sm_(20)Gd_(20)Dy_(20)Co_(20)Al_(20)high-entropy *** fabricated wires exhibited an amorphous structure,and the temperature interval of the undercooled liquid AT was 45 *** microwires underwent a second-order magnetic transition from a ferromagnetic to a paramagnetic state near the Curie temperature(T_(C)=52 K),The maximum magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_M^(max)),the relative cooling power and the refrigeration capacity reached 6.34 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1).422.09 J·kg^(-1)and 332.94 J·kg^(-1),respectively,under a magnetic field change of 5 *** addition,the temperature-averaged entropy changes with two temperature lifts(3 and 10 K)were 6.32 and 6.27 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1),*** good magnetocalorie performance highlights the significant potential for the Sm_(20)Gd_(20)Dy_(20)Co_(20)Al_(20)microwires to be used as magnetic refrigerant materials in low-temperature region *** work will serve as a valuable reference for future investigations on low-temperature high-entropy magnetocaloric materials.

In this paper,we study a class of Finsler metrics defined by a vector field on a gradient Ricci *** obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for these Finsler metrics on a compact gradient Ricci soliton to be of isotropic S-curvature by establishing a new integral *** we determine the Ricci curvature of navigation Finsler metrics of isotropic S-curvature on a gradient Ricci soliton generalizing result only known in the case when such soliton is of Einstein *** its application,we obtain the Ricci curvature of all navigation Finsler metrics of isotropic S-curvature on Gaussian shrinking soliton.

Mineralogy and whole-rock geochemistry of the Oligocene Barail Group of rocks of Belt of Schuppen, Northeast India: Implications for tectono-provenance and paleo-weathering

The petrographic and geochemical attributes of the Oligocene Barail Group of rocks are used to decipher the likely source area(s) or tectonic domains, as this sequence of rocks was deposited in a foreland basin governed by orogenic domain, namely the North-east Arunachal *** river system that gave rise to the Brahmaputra River(Yarlung-Tsangpo), which flowed through several tectonic domains of the Himalayan ranges, primarily from BomiChayu, Gangadese Granitoid, Higher Himalayan Leucogranites, and Namche Barwa into the proto Bengal Basin now a part of Assam Arakan Basin and Naga Schuppen Belt, was the main source of the sandstone formation of the Barail Group. The purpose of sandstone petrography, which combines modal analysis with XRF (Major Oxides) and HR-ICPMS (Trace&Rare Earth Elements) research, is to identify the type of source rock(s), their weathering pattern, and its paleo-environmental circumstances. These sandstones were formed from recycled orogen and include lithic and sublithic arenite variants with advanced texture and chemical maturity. The sediments were felsic (Th/Co:1.38, Cr/Th:9.78,La/Lu:11.58, Th/Sc:0.99, Eu/Eu*:0.66, La/Sc:3.05, La/Co:4.18), with contributions from intermediate source rocks and low-rank metamorphics deposited in an active continental margin to a continental island arc setting. Climatic conditions impacted the sediments of Barails, characterised by being warm and semi-humid to humid which resulted in moderate to a high degree of chemical weathering, as shown by weathering indices like CIA (79.14), PIA (85.47), CIW(86.9), WIP (32.50), ICV (0.71), and Th/U (6.03), which were further additionally supported by C-Value (1.01), PF(1.20), Sr/Cu (2.04), and Rb/Sr (0.97).
