For two unequal-mass particles,we construct the entangled state representation and then derive the corresponding squeezing *** squeezing operator has a natural realization in the entangled state representation,which exhibits the intrinsic relation between squeezing and quantum *** squeezing operator involves both two-mode squeezing and the direct product of two single-mode *** maximum squeezing occurs when the two particles possess equal *** the two particles＇ mass difference becomes large,the component of the two single-mode squeezings becomes dominant.

In recent years, more attention has been paid on artificial life researches. Artificial life（AL） is a research on regulating gene parameters of digital organisms under complicated problematic environments through natural selections and evolutions to achieve the final emergence of intelligence. Most recent studies focused on solving certain real problems by artificial life methods, yet without much address on the AL life basic mechanism. The real problems are often very complicated, and the proposed methods sometimes seem too simple to handle those problems. This study proposed a new approach in AL research, named ＂generalized artificial life structure（GALS）＂, in which the traditional ＂gene bits＂ in genetic algorithms is first replaced by ＂gene parameters＂, which could appear anywhere in GALS. A modeling procedure is taken to normalize the input data, and AL ＂tissue＂ is innovated to make AL more complex. GALS is anticipated to contribute significantly to the fitness of AL evolution. The formation of ＂tissue＂ begins with some different AL basic cells, and then tissue is produced by the casual selections of one or several of these cells. As a result, the gene parameters, represented by ＂tissues＂, could become highly diversified. This diversification should have obvious effects on improving gene fitness. This study took the innovative method of GALS in a stock forecasting problem under a carefully designed manipulating platform. And the researching results verify that the GALS is successful in improving the gene evolution fitness.

The rapid growth of structured data has presented new technological challenges in the research fields of big data and relational database. In this paper, we present an efficient system for managing and analyzing PB level structured data called Banian. Banian overcomes the storage structure limitation of relational database and effectively integrates interactive query with large-scale storage management. It provides a uniform query interface for cross-platform datasets and thus shows favorable compatibility and scalability. Banian＇s system architecture mainly includes three layers：（1） a storage layer using HDFS for the distributed storage of massive data;（2） a scheduling and execution layer employing the splitting and scheduling technology of parallel database; and（3）an application layer providing a cross-platform query interface and supporting standard SQL. We evaluate Banian using PB level Internet data and the TPC-H benchmark. The results show that when compared with Hive, Banian improves the query performance to a maximum of 30 times and achieves better scalability and concurrency.

This paper demonstrates rigorous chaotic dynamics in nonlinear Bloch system by virtue of topological horseshoe and numerical method. It considers a properly chosen cross section and the corresponding Poincare map, and shows the existence of horseshoe in the Poincare map. In this way, a rigorous verification of chaos in the nonlinear Bloch system is presented.

The dynamic response of an icosahedral Al-Pd Mn quasicrystal with a Griffith crack to impact loading is investigated in this paper. The elastohydrodynamic model for the wave propagation and diffusion together with their interaction is adopted. Numerical results of stress, displacement and dynamic stress intensity factors are obtained by using the finite difference method. The effects of wave propagation, diffusion and phonon-phason coupling on the quasicrystal in the dynamic process are discussed in detail, where the phason dynamics is explored particularly.

We propose a novel high-performance hardware architecture of processor for elliptic curve scalar multiplication based on the Lopez-Dahab algorithm over GF（2^163） in polynomial basis representation. The processor can do all the operations using an efficient modular arithmetic logic unit, which includes an addition unit, a square and a carefully designed multiplication unit. In the proposed architecture, multiplication, addition, and square can be performed in parallel by the decomposition of computation. The point addition and point doubling iteration operations can be performed in six multiplications by optimization and solution of data dependency. The implementation results based on Xilinx VirtexⅡ XC2V6000 FPGA show that the proposed design can do random elliptic curve scalar multiplication GF（2^163） in 34.11 μs, occupying 2821 registers and 13 376 LUTs.

We present a new method for feature preserving mesh simplification based on feature sensitive （FS） metric. Previous quadric error based approach is extended to a high-dimensional FS space so as to measure the geometric distance together with normal deviation. As the normal direction of a surface point is uniquely determined by the position in Euclidian space, we employ a two-step linear optimization scheme to efficiently derive the constrained optimal target point. We demonstrate that our algorithm can preserve features more precisely under the global geometric properties, and can naturally retain more triangular patches on the feature regions without special feature detection procedure during the simplification process. Taking the advantage of the blow-up phenomenon in FS space, we design an error weight that can produce more suitable results. We also show that Hausdorff distance is markedly reduced during FS simplification.
