Spare Parts Demand Forecasting:a Review

Spare parts are very common in industry and military fields, and the investigations of spare parts demand forecasting methods have draws much attention in recent years. However,to the best of our knowledge,only few papers reviewed the forecasting papers systematically. This paper is an attempt to provide a novel and comprehensive view to summarize these methods. A new framework was proposed to classify the demand forecasting methods into four categories,including empirical methods,methods based on historical data,analytical methods and simulation methods. Some typical literatures related to each category were ***, a general spare parts forecasting procedure was summarized and some evaluation criteria were presented. Finally,characteristics of different forecasting methods and some avenues for further research were illustrated. This work provides the managers with a systematical idea about the spare parts demand forecasting and it can be used in practical applications.

Economic Analysis of the Determinants of the Adoption of Water and Soil Conservation Techniques in Burkina Faso: Case of Cotton Producers in the Province of Bam

Soil degradation is a major problem in the Sudano-Sahelian zone of Burkina Faso. To maintain or improve soil productivity levels and limit Water losses, especially with rainfall variability, adaptation strategies have been developed that focus on water and Soil Conservation techniques (WSC). Although their agronomic benefits have been proven, adoption rates for these techniques are generally low, particularly among cotton farmers in Bam province. The main objective of this study is to identify the socioeconomic and institutional determinants of the adoption of WSC among cotton farmers in Bam. The data used for our study were collected as part of the Semi-Arid Resilience Promotion Project (SARP) from cotton producers in the province. A probit model was used to analyze the factors that determine the adoption of WSC in Bam cotton producers. The results show that variables such as early warning, group membership, smartphone ownership, and cotton income positively influence the likelihood of producers adopting WSC techniques. On the other hand, technical assistance and access to the pesticide have a negative influence on the adoption of WSC by Bam cotton producers.

The flipped classroom model differs significantly from the traditional classroom teaching model and offers numerous advantages. This article draws inspiration from the flipped classroom concept, using the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Practice (Theory)” course as an example to introduce the innovation and characteristics of the flipped classroom model: it is problem-oriented, addressing the “pain points” in teaching, motivating students towards “active learning,” and integrating diverse teaching methods. In the conclusion, the article proposed suggestions on the application of this model, encouraging teachers to summarize their teaching experiences, enhance their knowledge base, and foster students’ awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Cryptochromes （CRYs） are blue and UV light photoreceptors, known to play key roles in circadian rhythms and in the light-dependent magnetosensitivity of insects. Two novel cryptochrome genes were cloned from the brown planthopper, and were given the designations of Nlcryl and Nlcry2, with the accession numbers KM108578 and KM108579 in GenBank. The complementary DNA sequences ofNlcryl andNlcry2 are 1935 bp and 2463 bp in length, and they contain an open reading frame of 1629 bp and 1872 bp, encoding amino acids of 542 and 623, with a predicted molecular weight of 62.53 kDa and 70.60 kDa, respectively. Well-conserved motifs such as DNA-photolyase and FAD-binding-7 domains were observed in Nlcry1 and Nlcry2. Phylogenetic analysis demonstrated the proteins of Nlcry1 and Nlcry2 to be clustered into the insect＇s cryptochrome 1 and cryptochrome 2, respectively. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction showed that the daily oscillations of messenger RNA （mRNA） expression in the head of the brown planthopper were mild for Nlcryl, and modest for Nlcry2. Throughout all developmental stages, Nlcryl and Nlcry2 exhibited extreme fluctuations and distinctive expression profiles. Cryptochrome mRNA expression peaked immediately after adult emergence and then decreased subsequently. The tissue expression profiles of newly emerged brown planthopper adults showed higher expression levels of CRYs in the head than in the thorax or abdomen, as well as significantly higher levels of CRYs in the heads of the macropterous strain than in the heads of the brachypterous strain. Taken together, the results of our study suggest that the two cryptochrome genes characterized in the brown planthopper might be associated with developmental physiology and migration.

Study on the Improvement of Performance of Global Supply Chain Based on Quantity Flexibility Revenue Sharing Contract

The main propose of this study is to manage the demand risk and the exchange rate risk at the same time. Based on a two-echelon decentralized global supply chain,combined with the model equilibrium,this paper studies the difference between the quantity flexibility contract and the revenue sharing contract. By the transmitting of exchange rate risk,it discusses the node-enterprises' optimal strategies. Hence,it designs a quantity-flexibility-revenue-sharing contract to improve the performance of this global supply chain. The result shows that both the quantity flexibility contract and the revenue sharing contract cause the exchange rate risk to transfer from one enterprise to the other; the exchange rate risk will have different impact on the quantity flexibility contract and the revenue sharing contract because of the difference in the transfer payments at the end of the sales season; by designing a hedging strategy with these two different transfer payments,the quantity-flexibility-revenue-sharing contract can manage the demand risk and the exchange rate risk at the same time.

Digital transformation has brought new vitality into enterprises'innovative *** manufacturing industries have leveraged digitalization to drive technological advancements,thereby promoting corporate green technology innovation and achieving the goal of coordinated transformation toward digital and green *** paper employs annual data of China's A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2007 to 2020 to examine the impact of digital transformation on corporate green technology innovation and the underlying mechanism of this *** results indicate that digital transformation significantly enhances corporate green technology innovation,and this enhancing effect is even more significant in state-owned enterprises and high-tech *** mechanism test reveals that enhancing digital transformation can not only improve enterprises'information transparency and strengthen positive market expectations,but also encourage enterprises to increase R&D investment,ultimately enhancing the level of their green technology *** empirical findings of this paper can provide valuable insights for government departments to formulate strategies that can promote green innovation in the manufacturing industry,drive high-quality development,and contribute to the achievement of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality targets.

In this paper, we deal with the Nash differential games of stochastic singular systems governed by It?o-type equation in finite-time horizon and infinite-time horizon, respectively. Firstly,the Nash differential game problem of stochastic singular systems in finite time horizon is *** applying the results of stochastic optimal control problem, the existence condition of the Nash strategy is presented by means of a set of cross-coupled Riccati differential equations. Similarly, under the assumption of the admissibility of the stochastic singular systems, the existence condition of the Nash strategy in infinite-time horizon is presented by means of a set of cross-coupled Riccati algebraic equations. The results show that the strategies of each players interact.

This abstract has concerned primarily with the new look to the stages of post-Soviet Kazakh nationalism development embedded in context of Eurasian concept. Could we prove true widely held predictions about future strengthening of nationalists＇ position in post-crisis country？ As we state, opposite to above mentioned ideas, the more Kazakhstan would be involved in to Russian politics orbit which means further movement to Eurasian ＂path＂ the more undermined should be Kazakh nationalists conventional certainties. Moreover, one of the world crisis consequences could be displayed in leadership authoritarian tendencies strengthening. The latter undoubtedly ought to erode Kazakh nationalists＇ position.
