An Intelligent Admission Control Scheme for Dynamic Slice Handover Policy in 5G network Slicing

5G use cases,for example enhanced mobile broadband(eMBB),massive machine-type communications(mMTC),and an ultra-reliable low latency communication(URLLC),need a network architecture capable of sustaining stringent latency and bandwidth requirements;thus,it should be extremely flexible and *** enables service providers to develop various network slice *** users travel from one coverage region to another area,the callmust be routed to a slice thatmeets the same or different *** research aims to develop and evaluate an algorithm to make handover decisions appearing in 5G sliced *** of thumb which indicates the accuracy regarding the training data classification schemes within machine learning should be considered for validation and selection of the appropriate machine learning ***,this study discusses the network model’s design and implementation of self-optimization Fuzzy Qlearning of the decision-making algorithm for slice *** algorithm’s performance is assessed by means of connection-level metrics considering the Quality of Service(QoS),specifically the probability of the new call to be blocked and the probability of a handoff call being ***,within the network model,the call admission control(AC)method is modeled by leveraging supervised learning algorithm as prior knowledge of additional ***,to mitigate high complexity,the integration of fuzzy logic as well as Fuzzy Q-Learning is used to discretize state and the corresponding action *** results generated from our proposal surpass the traditional methods without the use of supervised learning and fuzzy-Q learning.

Quality of Service Improvement with Optimal Software-Defined networking Controller and Control Plane Clustering

The controller is indispensable in software-defined networking(SDN).With several features,controllers monitor the network and respond promptly to dynamic *** performance affects the quality-of-service(QoS)in *** controller supports a set of ***,the support of the features may be more prominent in one ***,a single controller leads to performance,single-point-of-failure(SPOF),and scalability *** overcome this,a controller with an optimum feature set must be available for ***,a cluster of optimum feature set controllers will overcome an SPOF and improve the QoS in ***,leveraging an analytical network process(ANP),we rank SDN controllers regarding their supporting features and create a hierarchical control plane based cluster(HCPC)of the highly ranked controller computed using the ANP,evaluating their performance for the OS3E *** results demonstrated in Mininet reveal that a HCPC environment with an optimum controller achieves an improved ***,the experimental results validated in Mininet show that our proposed approach surpasses the existing distributed controller clustering(DCC)schemes in terms of several performance metrics i.e.,delay,jitter,throughput,load balancing,scalability and CPU(central processing unit)utilization.

Machine Learning-Based Advertisement Banner Identification Technique for Effective Piracy Website Detection Process

In the contemporary world, digital content that is subject to copyright is facing significant challenges against the act of copyright *** of dollars are lost annually because of this illegal act. The currentmost effective trend to tackle this problem is believed to be blocking thosewebsites, particularly through affiliated government bodies. To do so, aneffective detection mechanism is a necessary first step. Some researchers haveused various approaches to analyze the possible common features of suspectedpiracy websites. For instance, most of these websites serve online advertisement, which is considered as their main source of revenue. In addition, theseadvertisements have some common attributes that make them unique ascompared to advertisements posted on normal or legitimate websites. Theyusually encompass keywords such as click-words (words that redirect to installmalicious software) and frequently used words in illegal gambling, illegal sexual acts, and so on. This makes them ideal to be used as one of the key featuresin the process of successfully detecting websites involved in the act of copyrightinfringement. Research has been conducted to identify advertisements servedon suspected piracy websites. However, these studies use a static approachthat relies mainly on manual scanning for the aforementioned keywords. Thisbrings with it some limitations, particularly in coping with the dynamic andever-changing behavior of advertisements posted on these websites. Therefore,we propose a technique that can continuously fine-tune itself and is intelligentenough to effectively identify advertisement (Ad) banners extracted fromsuspected piracy websites. We have done this by leveraging the power ofmachine learning algorithms, particularly the support vector machine with theword2vec word-embedding model. The controller in software-defined networking(SDN)acts as strategic point of control for the underlying *** controllers are available,and every single controller retains a number of features such as the OpenFlow version,clustering,modularity,platform,and partnership support,*** are regarded as vital when making a selection among a set of *** such,the selection of the controller becomes a multi-criteria decision making(MCDM)problem with several ***,an increase in this number will increase the computational complexity of the controller selection ***,the selection of controllers based on features has been studied by the ***,the prioritization of features has gotten less ***,several features increase the computational complexity of the selection *** this paper,we propose a mathematical modeling for feature prioritization with analytical network process(ANP)bridge model for SDN *** results indicate that a prioritized features model lead to a reduction in the computational complexity of the selection of SDN *** addition,our model generates prioritized features for SDN controllers.

There have been numerous works proposed to merge augmented reality/mixed reality(AR/MR)and Internet of Things(IoT)in various ***,they have focused on their specific target applications and have limitations on interoperability or reusability when utilizing them to different domains or adding other devices to the *** paper proposes a novel architecture of a convergence platform for AR/MR and IoT systems and *** proposed architecture adopts the oneM2M IoT standard as the basic framework that converges AR/MR and IoT systems and enables the development of application services used in general-purpose environments without being subordinate to specific systems,domains,and device *** implement the proposed architecture utilizing the open-source oneM2M-based IoT server and device platforms released by the open alliance for IoT standards(OCEAN)and Microsoft HoloLens as an MR device *** also suggest and demonstrate the practical use cases and discuss the advantages of the proposed architecture.

Temperature stability of magnetic field for periodic permanent-magnet focusing system

In this study, finite element analysis based on an Ansoft Maxwell software was used to reveal the temperature stability of a magnet ring and the equivalent structural periodic permanent-magnet（PPM） focusing system. It is found that with the temperature increasing, the decrease rate of magnetic induction peak（Bz）maxof single magnet ring is greater than that of remanence Brof magnet in the range from room temperature to 200 °C, however,the PPM focusing system do have the same temperature characteristics of permanent-magnet materials. It indicates that the magnetic temperature properties of the PPM system can be effectively controlled by adjusting the temperature properties of the magnets. Moreover, the higher permeability of the magnets indicates the less Hcb, giving rise to lower magnetic induction peak （Bz）′max： Finally, it should be noted that the magnetic orientation deviation angle θ（／15°） of permanent magnets has little effect on the focusing magnetic field of the PPM system at different temperatures and the temperature stability. The obtained results are beneficial to the design and selection of permanent magnets for PPM focusing system.

An Intelligent Hybrid Mutual Authentication Scheme for Industrial Internet of Thing networks

Internet of Things(IoT)network used for industrial management is vulnerable to different security threats due to its unstructured deployment,and dynamic communication *** literature various mechanisms addressed the security issue of Industrial IoT networks,but proper maintenance of the performance reliability is among the common *** this paper,we proposed an intelligent mutual authentication scheme leveraging authentication aware node(AAN)and base station(BS)to identify routing attacks in Industrial IoT *** AAN and BS uses the communication parameter such as a route request(RREQ),node-ID,received signal strength(RSS),and round-trip time(RTT)information to identify malicious devices and routes in the deployed *** feasibility of the proposed model is validated in the simulation environment,where OMNeT++was used as a simulation *** compare the results of the proposed model with existing field-proven schemes in terms of routing attacks detection,communication cost,latency,computational cost,and *** results show that our proposed scheme surpasses the previous schemes regarding these performance parameters with the attack detection rate of 97.7%.
