The double perovskite Cs2SnI6has notable optical and electrical characteristics, rendering it a highly prospective candidate for deployment as the absorber layer in perovskite solar cells （PSCs）. We simulated the performance of PSCs using lead-free Cs2SnI6double perovskite absorber layer and graphene derivatives, namely graphene oxide （GO） and reduced graphene oxide （rGO）, as hole transport layers （HTLs）. Our findings show that r GO offers an excellent hole extraction property with minimal interfacial recombination compared to GO.

The high activity and stability of intermetallic PtCo nanocatalysts toward oxygen reduction reaction make them a top candidate as low-Pt cathode catalysts in proton exchange membrane fuel cells（PEMFCs）.However,forming intermetallic structures typically requires high-temperature annealing,posing a challenge for achieving well-size control and highly ordered *** we report the design and synthesis of bimetallic co re@shell structured precursors for affording high-performance intermetallic PtCo *** fabrication of the core@shell precursor involves using a molecular ligand containing both sulfur and oxygen donors to selectively bind with Pt colloidal nanoparticles as the core and chelate Co ions as the *** high-temperature annealing,the ligand transforms into carbon coatings around alloy nanoparticles,preventing particle sintering;meanwhile,Co ions in the shell can easily diffuse into the Pt core,which helps to increase the thermodynamic driving force for forming intermetallic *** benefits enable us to obtain the catalyst with finely dispersed nanoparticles（～3.5 nm）and a high ordering degree of 72%.With 0.1 mgPt/cm2cathode loading,the catalyst delivers superior performance and durability in PEMFCs,showing an initial mass activity of 0.56 A/mgPt,an initial power density of 1.05 W/cm2at 0.67 V（H2-air）,and a voltage loss of 26 mV at 0.8 A/cm2after the accelerated durability test.

Numerous soft-sediment deformation structures(SSDS) within thin-bedded, heterolithic lacustrine shoreline deposits of the Upper Triassic Tumble Falls Member, Lockatong Formation of eastern Pennsylvania, demonstrate liquefaction, fluidization and shearing features processes affecting sediment. This study employs thin-section analysis of SSDS to interpret them as probable seismites from the Triassic-Jurassic Newark Basin. Sedimentary structures include right-lateral offset of desiccation cracks and ichnofossils, thrust,reverse, and normal faults with mm-scale offsets, horsts and grabens, lateral spreads, and single and complex multiple networks of dikes and sills and associated sedimentary volcanoes, thin mudflows on a paleosurface linked to sediment dikes, load and flame structures, ball and pillow structures, recumbent folds, and incipient breccias. Dike fill consists of mudstone, angular sedimentary clasts, sandstone margins with mudstone cores,and plastically deformed sediment fill. The SSDS indicate that Late Triassic lacustrine shoreline sediments were subjected to forces, probably compressive with a minimal shear component reflected in the offset of the dikes and ichnofossils, that induced liquefaction followed by fluidization and vertical movement of *** forces that altered sediment vertical stability, leading to deformation of the sediment included gravitationally unstable density gradients, vertical shear stress, and gravitational body forces. SSDS can be induced by seismic and aseismic processes. However, this unique combination of forces and resulting sedimentary structures indicate an origin by earthquake activity, likely produced by the nearby, active Newark Basin border fault system. The Lockatong Formation SSDS seismites improve our understanding via thin section analysis of the rheology and preservation potential of SSDS in lacustrine shoreline deposits, critical for the geologic history of Newark Basin, as well as the refinement for paleos

Effect of Coffee Aroma on Cerebral Activity during Concentration Tasks

Caffeine has been shown to reduce various health risks, such as diabetes, obesity, and vascular diseases, and it may provide health benefits when consumed in moderate amounts, such as three to four cups per day. However, caffeine may exhibit harmful effects depending on the dose. Although the health benefits and disadvantages of caffeine intake have been studied, the effects of caffeine’s aroma have hardly been studied. This study aimed to examine the impact of caffeine scent on brain activity during cognitive tasks using electroencephalography (EEG). This study included 30 healthy young adults. We investigated cerebral activity using EEG during the concentration tasks. Participants performed tasks under pre- and post-conditions, including drinking coffee, smelling coffee, or drinking water. The number of correct responses and reaction times were calculated for each task, and mean power levels were analyzed. A linear mixed model was applied with “performance”, “ROI”, and “wave band” to examine the effects of conditions and timing. Significant differences were observed in left-frontal θ power (coffee α power (coffee P θ between pre- and post-task during water conditions (pre α on the frontal lobe and higher θ are associated with improved arousal and cognitive functions. Drinking coffee reduced α power, whereas smelling coffee or drinking water increased θ power. Therefore, drinking coffee, smelling coffee, and drinking water may affect cerebral activities and enhance cognitive performance.

Multiaxial magnetic anisotropy(MA)refers to the phenomenon that multiple axes of the magnetic crystal correspond to different energy *** with the common uniaxial magnetic anisotropy,multiaxial MA facilitates novel forms of applications in ***,by combining the first-principles-based spin Hamiltonian and tight-binding(TB)method,we reveal the microscopic origins,instead of the common phenomenological understanding,of biaxial MA and triaxial *** the example system of NiO,it is found that the multiple minima result from the fourth-order and the sixth-order single ion interactions,while the difference between[110]and[110]directions originates from a second-order bond-dependent anisotropic pair interaction(i.e.,the so-called Gamma interaction).Moreover,through the application of a newly developed general spin dependent TB approach,it is revealed that the triaxial MA arises from the special spin-orbital entangled Hund term,which is different from the orbital-independent Hund term in the usual Slater Koster TB *** work thus not only leads to a thorough understanding of the multiaxial MA in NiO,but also establishes a methodology that can be widely used to explore the microscopic origins of MA in different magnets.

Biomimetic proton pocket and effective interfacial modulation for zinc metal anodes

Rechargeable aqueous zinc batteries(RAZBs)offer a promising solution for large-scale energy storage due to the abundance,low cost,and safety of ***,practical applications are hindered by Zn anode instability,dendrite growth,and hydrogen evolution reactions(HER).Chaotropic Zn(ClO_(4))2 electrolytes are favorable for low-temperature operations but exacerbate these issues due to their high acidity,leading to severe Zn corrosion and layered double hydroxide *** propose a biomimetic strategy using methylguanidoacetic acid(creatine)as a low-cost,eco-friendly additive to address these *** acts as a proton pocket to finely tune the pH of acidic Zn(ClO_(4))2 electrolytes for suppressing HER and stabilizing the Zn ***,the formed creatinine cations adsorb on the Zn surface,promoting highly controlled Zn deposition with a preferred(002)*** approach significantly enhances battery cycling performance,with Zn||Zn cells demonstrating extended cycling stability at both low and high current ***||Cu cells exhibited improved Coulombic efficiency over thousands of cycles,indicating highly reversible Zn plating/***,stable cell operations were realized at the temperature as low as−35℃ without electrolyte *** findings highlight the potential of biomimetic proton regulation and interfacial modulation for improving the stability and reversibility of Zn plating/stripping in RAZBs.

In weak field limits, we compute the deflection angle of a gravitational decoupling extended black hole(BH) solution. We obtained the Gaussian optical curvature by examining the null geodesic equations with the help of Gauss–Bonnet theorem(GBT). We also looked into the deflection angle of light by a black hole in weak field limits with the use of the Gibbons–Werner method. We verify the graphical behavior of the black hole after determining the deflection angle of light. Additionally, in the presence of the plasma medium, we also determine the deflection angle of the light and examine its graphical behavior. Furthermore, we compute the Einstein ring via gravitational decoupling extended black hole solution. We also compute the quasi-periodic oscillations and discuss their graphical behavior.

Offshore Nile Delta in Egypt represents an enormous hydrocarbon province with recent projected gas and condensate discoveries of more than 50 trillion cubic feet “TCF”. Most of these occur in the post-salt hydrocarbon plays where biogenic gases are dominant. This study integrates organic geochemistry,seismic geomorphology and petrophysics in order to decipher the origin, and accumulation conditions of the wet gas/condensate blend in the Upper Miocene sub-salt Wakar Formation sandstones in Port Fouad Marine “PFM” Field, offshore Nile Delta. Hydrocarbon pay zones are scattered thin（ 1 w.t.%, hydrogen index“HI” > 200 mg HC/g TOC） and mature(Tmax> 430°C, vitrinite reflectance “VR” > 0.6 %R_o), source rocks are restricted to Upper Miocene Wakar and Oligo-Miocene Tineh formations. The latter contains more mature organofacies（up to 1.2 %R_o） and type II/III kerogen, thereby demonstrating a good capability to generate wet gases. The studied gas is wet and has thermogenic origin with signs of secondary microbial alteration, whereas the condensate contains a mixture of marine and terrestrial input. Molecular biomarkers of the condensate, isotopic and molecular composition of the gas reveals a generation of condensate prior to gas expulsion from the source. The Wakar sandstones have a heterogeneous pore system where three reservoir rock types（RRTI, RRTII and RRTIII）. RRTI rocks present the bulk composition of the Wakar pay zones. Spatial distribution of RRTI facies likely control the accumulation of the sub-salt hydrocarbons. Our results provide a new evidence on an active petroleum system in the sub-salt Paleogene successions in the offshore Nile Delta where concomitant generation of ga

Doline susceptibility mapping(DSM)in karst aquifer is important in terms of estimating the vulnerability of the aquifer to pollutants,estimating the infiltration rate,and infrastructures exposed to the development of *** this research,doline susceptibility map was prepared in Saldaran mountain by generalized linear model(GLM)using 14 affecting parameters extracted from satellite images,digital elevation model,and geology *** 8 parameters have been inputted to the model which had correlation with *** this regards,306 dolines were identified by the photogrammetric Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV)method in 600 hectares of Salderan lands and then,these data were divided into the training(70%)and testing(30%)data for *** results of DSM modeling showed that classified probability of doline occurrences in the Saldaran mountain were as follow:16.5%of the area high to very high,72%in the class of low to very low,and 5%in the moderate ***,locally,in Saldaran mountain,the Pirghar aquifer has the highest potential for the doline development,followed by Bagh Rostam and Sarab ***,the precipitation,digital elevation model,Topographic Position Index,drainage density,slope,TRASP(transformed the circular aspect to a radiation index),Snow-Covered Days and vegetation cover index are of highest importance in the DSM modeling,*** evaluation of the model using the Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)curve represents a very good accuracy(AUC=0.953)of the DSM model.
