Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the most common chronic liver disease with an estimated worldwide prevalence of 32.4%.1 The multisystem condition is related to an increased risk of liver-related and cardiovascular extrahepatic diseases.2 Smoking is the leading preventable risk factor for premature disability and *** NAFLD and smoking are both associated with the development of metabolic features,there has been increasing interest in testing the relationship between smoking and *** causal relevance of smoking to NAFLD incidence have been implicated in crosssectional and prospective cohort studies.3,4 However,previous studies mainly focused on the effect of active smoking,discussion on the influence of passive smoking on NAFLD will facilitate illustrating the association between smoking and *** conducted a national two-center cross-section study of active,passive smoking and NAFLD risk in Chinese and European *** design allowed us to(1)test for associations between active,passive smoking and NAFLD risk by sex and consolidate evidence for causality by estimating dose-response relationship,(2)identify mediated factors,and(3)resolve their possible interaction with smoking.

A feasible approach to rectify the world's energy demand using sustainable development of adequate energy generation and storage technologies in a single *** this respect,we made a holistic approach with a bifunctional electrode material to perform effectively in energy generation and storage ***2nanosheets were produced by the eco-friendly method and reduced graphene oxide is used to prepared by carbon soot which is derived from castor *** prepared soot and rGO were combined with MoS2nanosheets using a simple sonication *** as-prepared sample was introduced in the supercapacitor and DSSC *** combination MoS2@rGO provides an enhanced conversion efficiency of 11.81%and the reproducibility of DSSC is also ***,MoS2@rGO is used to fabricate an asymmetric supercapacitor to investigate its real-time *** device produced the maximum power density （1666.6 mW/kg） and energy density （25.69 mWh/Kg） at 1 A/*** asymmetric supercapacitor device holds a cyclic stability of 81.4%for 5000 cycles and it powered up an LED device for 4 min.

A quasi-zero stiffness energy harvesting isolator with triple negative stiffness

Vibration isolation for low frequency excitation and the power supply for low power monitoring sensors are important issues in bridge *** main problem is how to effectively combine the vibration isolator with the energy harvester to form a multi-functional *** this paper,a system called quasi-zero stiffness energy harvesting isolator(QZS-EHI)with triple negative stiffness(TNS)is *** TNS structure consists of linear springs,rigid links,sliders,and ring permanent ***’s second law and Kirchhoff’s law construct dynamic equations of the QZS-EHI,and a comparison is made to contrast it with other QZS and linear *** comparison field includes the QZS range,amplitude-frequency relationship,force transmissibility,and energy harvested *** isolator can be applied to many engineering fields such as bridges,automobiles,and railway *** paper selects bridge engineering as the main field for the dynamic analysis of this *** the multi-span beam bridge,this paper compares different situations including the bridge with QZS-EHI support,with linear stiffness isolator support,and with single beam *** results show that the QZS-EHI is not only better than the traditional isolator with linear stiffness under both harmonic and stochastic excitation,but also better than some QZS isolators with double or single negative stiffness in bridge vibration isolation and energy *** analysis is verified to correspond to the simulation analysis,which means the proposed QZS-EHI has practical application value.

Sleep Posture Classification Using RGB and Thermal Cameras Based on Deep Learning Model

Sleep posture surveillance is crucial for patient comfort,yet current systems face difficulties in providing compre-hensive studies due to the obstruction caused by *** posture assessment remains challenging because of the complex nature of the human body and variations in sleep ***,this study introduces an innovative method utilizing RGB and thermal cameras for comprehensive posture classification,thereby enhancing the analysis of body position and *** method begins by capturing a dataset of sleep postures in the form of videos using RGB and thermal cameras,which depict six commonly adopted postures:supine,left log,right log,prone head,prone left,and prone *** study involves 10 participants under two conditions:with and without ***,the database is normalized into a video *** subsequent step entails training a fine-tuned,pretrained Visual Geometry Group(VGG16)and ResNet50 *** the third phase,the extracted features are utilized for *** fourth step of the proposed approach employs a serial fusion technique based on the normal distribution to merge the vectors derived from both the RGB and thermal ***,the fused vectors are passed to machine learning classifiers for final *** dataset,which includes human sleep postures used in this study’s experiments,achieved a 96.7%accuracy rate using the Quadratic support Vector Machine(QSVM)without the ***,the Linear SVM,when utilized with a blanket,attained an accuracy of 96%.When normal distribution serial fusion was applied to the blanket features,it resulted in a remarkable average accuracy of 99%.

Purpose:This paper presents an update of the 2011 Wheelchair Compendium of Physical Activities designed for wheelchair users and is referred to as the 2024 Wheelchair *** Wheelchair Compendium aims to curate existing knowledge of the energy expenditure for wheelchair physical activities(PAs).Methods:A systematic review of the published energy expenditure of PA for wheelchair users was completed between 2011 and May *** added these data to the 2011 Wheelchair Compendium data that was compiled previously in a systematic review through ***:A total of 47 studies were included,and 124 different wheelchair PA reported energy expenditure values ranging from 0.8 metabolic equivalents for wheelchair users(filing papers,light effort)to 11.8 metabolic equivalents for wheelchair users(Nordic sit skiing).Conclusion:In introducing the updated 2024 Wheelchair Compendium,we hope to bridge the resource gap and challenge the prevailing narratives that inadvertently exclude wheelchair users from physical fitness and health PAs.
