This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

Lead halide perovskite quantum dots（LHP QDs） have been revealed to possess great potential in photocatalytic applications including CO2reduction, which however suffer from poor stability. Herein, a high crystalline hydrazine-linked three-dimensional（3D） covalent organic framework, USTB-17, was fabricated from the reaction between 12-connected building block and 4-connected 3,5,7-tetrakis（4-aldophenyl）-adamantane. Post-modification with Ni2+affords the metallic framework USTB-17（Ni）followed by sequential deposition of the CH3NH2PbI3（MAPbI3） perovskite QDs into its pores, generating the USTB-17（Ni）@MAPbI3composite. Powder X-ray diffraction analysis together with theoretical simulations and transmission electron microscopy discloses the crystalline nature of USTB-17, USTB-17（Ni）, and USTB-17（Ni）@MAPbI3with an unprecedented noninterpenetrated hpt topology. The close contact of QDs inside the COF pores with the Ni catalytic site locating at the pore surface of COF allows a rapid transfer of the photogenerated electrons in QDs to the Ni catalytic sites, enhancing the photocatalytic activity for CO2reduction. This endows USTB-17（Ni）@MAPbI3with efficient photocatalysis performance for photocatalytic CO2reduction with CO generation rate of 365 μmol g-1h-1and CO selectivity up to 96% under visible-light irradiation, 7 times higher than that of USTB-17（Ni）. After four cycles of reactions, the photocatalytic CO generation rate remains almost unchanged, demonstrating its excellent cycle stability.

Objective:Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is commonly recognized as the most fatal lung cancer type. Despite substantial advances in immune checkpoint blockade therapies for treating solid cancers, their benefits are limited to a minority of patients with SCLC. In the present study, novel indicators for predicting the outcomes and molecular targets for SCLC treatment were elucidated.Methods:We conducted bioinformatics analysis to identify the key genes associated with tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in SCLC. The functional role of the key gene identified in SCLC was determined both and .Results:A significant correlation was observed between patient survival and CD56dim natural killer (NK) cell proportion. Furthermore, we noted that the hub gene ubiquitin-specific protease 1 (USP1) is closely correlated with both CD56dim NK cells and overall survival in SCLC. Bioinformatics analysis revealed that USP1 is upregulated in SCLC. In addition, gene set enrichment analysis revealed that USP1 overexpression hinders NK cell-mediated immune responses. By co-cultivating NK-92 cells with SCLC cells, we demonstrated that NK cell cytotoxicity against SCLC could be improved either via USP1 knock-down or pharmacological inhibition. Furthermore, using a nude-mice xenograft tumor model, we noted that USP1 inhibition effectively suppressed tumor proliferation and increased the expression of NK cell-associated markers.Conclusions:Our study findings highlight the importance of NK cells in regulating SCLC. USP1 overexpression can inhibit NK cell-mediated immunity; therefore, USP1 may serve not only as a prognostic biomarker but also as a potential molecular target of SCLC therapy.

Pancreatic cancer is usually associated with a poor *** is the main curative treatment but pancreatic operations are aggressive and new tools that help clinicians to predict surgical and prognostic outcomes are *** et al recently published a retrospective,single centre cohort study evaluating the impact of seven nutritional and inflammatory markers in pancreatic cancer surgical patients:The albumin-to-globulin ratio,prognostic nutritional index(PNI),systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),nutritional risk index,and the geriatric nutritional risk index.A significant correlation was found between the PNI,SII,NLR,and PLR and a hospital discharge of less than 15 *** a univariable analysis,PNI,SII,NLR and PLR were significantly related to recurrence-free survival and,in a multivariable analysis PNI was associated with overall *** meta-analyses corroborate the results in terms of prognosis but individual studies are discordant on their ***,the cut-off values for these markers vary significantly between studies and there are no clinical trials comparing them to identify the most relevant *** are limitations when implementing nutritional and inflammatory biomarkers into clinical practice and further studies are needed in order to answer these questions.

Thermal neutron albedo has been investigated for different thicknesses of mono-material and bi-material reflectors. An equation has been obtained for a bi-material reflector by considering the neutron diffusion equation. The bi-material reflector consists of binary combinations of water, graphite, lead, and polyethylene. An experimental measurement of thermal neutron albedo has also been conducted for mono-material and bi-material reflectors by using a^(241) Am–Be(5.2 Ci) neutron source and a BF3 detector. The maximum value of thermal neutron albedo was obtained for a polyethylene–water combination(0.95 ± 0.02).

Thorium as a suitable fertile with higher natural resources in comparison with uranium resources has been remarkably considered by different nuclear energy user countries in the last decades. Its prominent features such as suitable possibility for power flattening of a nuclear reactor, applicable breeder blanket to produce^(233)U fissile as well as neutron leakage prevention from a nuclear core has caused its application as power flatter, breeder material or other aimed utilizations be evaluated by the researches. In the present study, neutronics of a modeled CANDU 6loaded with Th O_2 and UO_2fuel rods have been computationally studied. The study aimed at reprocessing of burned Th O_2 seeds at CANDU 6 reactor to recover the total produced uranium, which is to be going under another compound fuel cycle. The obtained results showed all the core reactivity coefficients are sufficiently negative. The modeled core 949 GWd burn-up concluding in 99.99 %depletion of^(235)U initial loads. 18.38 kg of^(233) U was produced in the burnt Th O_2 fuel after 1-year burn-up time. In addition, 31.84 kg of^(239) Pu was produced in the UO_2 spent fuel rods after the burn-up time. After a proposed cooling time, about 50.01 kg of^(233)U will be available in the spent Th O_2 fuel.

A New Numerical Approach to Evaluate Variation of Electric Field Strength at the End of Particle Trajectory in Nuclear Track Detectors

A geometrical model for an electrochemical etching （ECE） track in a dielectric detector is defined and a primaxy programme is written to generate the track. The generated track is transformed to an M× N matrix of primary voltages. Using a numerical method, the matrix of final voltages is computed, and using another numerical approach, the electric field strengths in the elements of detector volume are computed. The final field strength at the end of particle trajectory is obtained. The results of our numerical computation show that there are exact correlations between the field strength at the end of particle trajectory and the parameters of track under ECE. It is found that although two traditional models of Mason and Smythe in dielectrics can be partly applied for short and long tracks, none of them are able to explain the behaviour of field strength in a ‘general case＇. Furthermore, we find that there is an expressive relationship between the field strength and the incidence angle of impacted particle, while the mentioned traditional models are not able to explain this effect.
