Cardiovascular diseases are the world’s leading cause of death;therefore cardiac health of the human heart has been a fascinating topic for *** electrocardiogram(ECG)signal is a comprehensive non-invasive method for determining cardiac *** health practitioners use the ECG signal to ascertain critical information about the human *** this article,swarm intelligence approaches are used in the biomedical signal processing sector to enhance adaptive hybrid filters and empirical wavelet transforms(EWTs).At first,the white Gaussian noise is added to the input ECG signal and then applied to the *** ECG signals are denoised by the proposed adaptive hybrid *** honey badge optimization(HBO)algorithm is utilized to optimize the EWT window function and adaptive hybrid filter weight *** proposed approach is simulated by MATLAB 2018a using the MIT-BIH dataset with white Gaussian,electromyogram and electrode motion artifact noises.A comparison of the HBO approach with recursive least square-based adaptive filter,multichannel least means square,and discrete wavelet transform methods has been done in order to show the efficiency of the proposed adaptive hybrid *** experimental results show that the HBO approach supported by EWT and adaptive hybrid filter can be employed efficiently for cardiovascular signal denoising.

Smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 are transforming traditional manufacturing processes by utilizing innovative technologies such as the artificial intelligence(AI)and internet of things(IoT)to enhance efficiency,reduce costs,and ensure product *** light of the recent advancement of Industry 4.0,identifying defects has become important for ensuring the quality of products during the manufacturing *** this research,we present an ensemble methodology for accurately classifying hot rolled steel surface defects by combining the strengths of four pre-trained convolutional neural network(CNN)architectures:VGG16,VGG19,Xception,and Mobile-Net V2,compensating for their individual *** evaluated our methodology on the Xsteel surface defect dataset(XSDD),which comprises seven different *** ensemble methodology integrated the predictions of individual models through two methods:model averaging and weighted *** evaluation showed that the model averaging ensemble achieved an accuracy of 98.89%,a recall of 98.92%,a precision of 99.05%,and an F1-score of 98.97%,while the weighted averaging ensemble reached an accuracy of 99.72%,a recall of 99.74%,a precision of 99.67%,and an F1-score of 99.70%.The proposed weighted averaging ensemble model outperformed the model averaging method and the individual models in detecting defects in terms of accuracy,recall,precision,and *** analysis with recent studies also showed the superior performance of our methodology.

This paper presents a design method to implement an antenna array characterized by ultra-wide beam coverage,low profile,and low Sidelobe Level(SLL)for the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)air-to-ground *** array consists of ten broadside-radiating,ultrawide-beamwidth elements that are cascaded by a central-symmetry series-fed network with tapered currents following Dolph-Chebyshev distribution to provide low ***,an innovative design of end-fire Huygens source antenna that is compatible with metal ground is presented.A low-profile,half-mode Microstrip Patch Antenna(MPA)is utilized to serve as the magnetic dipole and a monopole is utilized to serves as the electric dipole,constructing the compact,end-fire,grounded Huygens source ***,two opposite-oriented end-fire Huygens source antennas are seamlessly integrated into a single antenna element in the form of monopole-loaded MPA to accomplish the ultrawide,broadside-radiating *** consideration has been applied into the design of series-fed network as well as antenna element to compensate the adverse coupling effects between elements on the radiation *** indicates an ultrawide Half-Power Beamwidth(HPBW)of 161°and a low SLL of-25 dB with a high gain of 12 d Bi under a single-layer *** concurrent ultrawide beamwidth and low SLL make it particularly attractive for applications of UAV air-to-ground communication.

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is a promising technique to increase spectral efficiency and support various emerging applications by sharing the spectrum and hardware between these functionalities. However, the traditional ISAC schemes are highly dependent on the accurate mathematical model and suffer from the challenges of high complexity and poor performance in practical scenarios. Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a viable technique to address these issues due to its powerful learning capabilities, satisfactory generalization capability, fast inference speed, and high adaptability for dynamic environments, facilitating a system design shift from model-driven to data-driven. Intelligent ISAC, which integrates AI into ISAC, has been a hot topic that has attracted many researchers to investigate. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive overview of intelligent ISAC, including its motivation, typical applications, recent trends, and challenges. In particular, we first introduce the basic principle of ISAC, followed by its key techniques. Then, an overview of AI and a comparison between model-based and AI-based methods for ISAC are provided. Furthermore, the typical applications of AI in ISAC and the recent trends for AI-enabled ISAC are reviewed. Finally, the future research issues and challenges of intelligent ISAC are discussed.

The rapid industrial growth and increasing population have led to significant pollution and deterioration of the natural atmospheric *** atmospheric pollutants include NO_(2)and CO_(2).Hence,it is imperative to develop NO_(2)and CO_(2)sensors for ambient conditions,that can be used in indoor air quality monitoring,breath analysis,food spoilage detection,*** the present study,two thin film nanocomposite(nickel oxide-graphene and nickel oxide-silver nanowires)gas sensors are fabricated using direct ink *** nano-composites are investigated for their structural,optical,and electrical *** the nano-composite is deposited on the interdigitated electrode(IDE)pattern to form NO_(2)and CO_(2)*** deposited films are then exposed to NO_(2)and CO_(2)gases separately and their response and recovery times are determined using a custom-built gas sensing *** oxide-graphene provides a good response time and recovery time of 10 and 9 s,respectively for NO_(2),due to the higher electron affinity of graphene towards NO_(2).Nickel oxide-silver nanowire nano-composite is suited for CO_(2)gas because silver is an excellent electrocatalyst for CO_(2)by giving response and recovery times of 11 s *** is the first report showcasing NiO nano-composites for NO_(2)and CO_(2)sensing at room temperature.

The attacker in white-box model has full access to software implementation of a cryptographic algorithm and full control over its execution *** order to solve the issues of high storage cost and inadequate security about most current white-box cryptographic schemes,WAS,an improved white-box cryptographic algorithm over AS iteration is *** scheme utilizes the AS iterative structure to construct a lookup table with a fvelayer ASASA structure,and the maximum distance separable matrix is used as a linear layer to achieve complete difusion in a small number of *** can be prevented from recovering the key under black-box *** length of nonlinear layer S and afne layer A in lookup table is 16 bits,which efectively avoids decomposition attack against the ASASA structure and makes the algorithm possess anti-key extraction security under the whitebox model,while WAS possesses weak white-box(32 KB,112)-space hardness to satisfy anti-code lifting *** has provable security and better storage cost than existing schemes,with the same anti-key extraction security and anti-code lifting security,only 128 KB of memory space is required in WAS,which is only 14%of SPACE-16 algorithm and 33%of Yoroi-16 algorithm.

We present a differential laser absorption spectroscopy(DLAS) system operating at 1550 nm for rapid and sensitive gas concentration measurements. A dual-wavelength toggling mechanism is presented, which significantly reduces data processing, hence supporting a high update rate and data robustness against fast-changing environmental conditions. We showcase the ability to toggle between two wavelengths separated by 90 pm in 14 μs and with minimal chirp(～1 pm), facilitating sensitive DLAS measurements at 8 kHz update rate.
