The asymmetric input-constrained optimal synchronization problem of heterogeneous unknown nonlinear multiagent systems(MASs)is considered in the ***,a state-space transformation is performed such that satisfaction of symmetric input constraints for the transformed system guarantees satisfaction of asymmetric input constraints for the original ***,considering that the leader’s information is not available to every follower,a novel distributed observer is designed to estimate the leader’s state using only exchange of information among neighboring *** that,a network of augmented systems is constructed by combining observers and followers dynamics.A nonquadratic cost function is then leveraged for each augmented system(agent)for which its optimization satisfies input constraints and its corresponding constrained Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman(HJB)equation is solved in a data-based *** specifically,a data-based off-policy reinforcement learning(RL)algorithm is presented to learn the solution to the constrained HJB equation without requiring the complete knowledge of the agents’*** of the improved RL algorithm to the solution to the constrained HJB equation is also ***,the correctness and validity of the theoretical results are demonstrated by a simulation example.

The purpose of this study was to increase light olefins yield and selectivity in catalytic cracking of propane. Pretreatment of ZSM-5 zeolite was performed during calcination. First, lanthanum was loaded on the catalyst by wet impregnation method and then the effect of parameters, such as temperature（400–800 oC）, time（120–480 min） and type of stream, on La-ZSM-5 zeolite was examined during calcination using central composite design（CCD） method. Based on the proposed models, the optimized condition for maximizing selectivity of light olefins for air stream was 680 oC and 310 min and for the nitrogen stream was 735 oC and 173 min that under these conditions, selectivity amount increased 24% for nitrogen stream and 19% for air stream as compared with H-ZSM-5 catalyst. The synthesized catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD） and temperature-programmed desorption（TPD） techniques. According to the results of NH3-TPD, as the temperature increased, the number of strong acid sites（specially Bronsted acid sites） reduced and resulted in increased production of light olefins as well as catalyst stability. Accordingly, stability of the samples calcined with nitrogen stream was higher than the samples calcined with the air stream.

Nano-microbubble flotation of fine and ultrafine chalcopyrite particles

As is well known to mineral processing scientists and engineers, fine and ultrafine particles are difficult to float mainly due to the low bubble-particle collision efficiencies. Though many efforts have been made to improve flotation performance of fine and ultrafine particles, there is still much more to be done. In this paper, the effects of nano-microbubbles(nanobubbles and microbubbles) on the flotation of fine( 38 + 14.36 lm) and ultrafine( 14.36 + 5 lm) chalcopyrite particles were investigated in a laboratory scale Denver flotation cell. Nano-microbubbles were generated using a specially-designed nanomicrobubble generator based on the cavitation phenomenon in Venturi tubes. In order to better understand the mechanisms of nano-microbubble enhanced froth flotation of fine and ultrafine chalcopyrite particles, the nano-microbubble size distribution, stability and the effect of frother concentration on nanobubble size were also studied by a laser diffraction method. Comparative flotation tests were performed in the presence and absence of nano-microbubbles to evaluate their impact on the fine and ultrafine chalcopyrite particle flotation recovery. According to the results, the mean size of nano-microbubbles increased over time, and decreased with increase of frother concentration. The laboratory-scale flotation test results indicated that flotation recovery of chalcopyrite fine and ultrafine particles increased by approximately 16–21% in the presence of nano-microbubbles, depending on operating conditions of the process. The presence of nano-microbubbles increased the recovery of ultrafine particles( 14.36 + 5 lm) more than that of fine particles( 38 + 14.36 lm). Another major advantage is that the use of nano-microbubbles reduced the collector and frother consumptions by up to 75% and 50%,respectively.

A double stage AC/DC sequential high voltage reactor has been developed to study the decomposition of benzene in the air stream at atmospheric pressure. The removal efficiency was measured as a function of ozonation, flow recycling, and flow recirculation. Ozonation in the inlet, and recycling of the exhaust stream increased the removal of benzene, also with increasing of specific input energy(J l^-1) the effect of inlet flow ozonation on benzene decomposition was enhanced. The highest removal efficiency was obtained up to >99% in recirculation six times,while CO2 selectivity reached 99.9% and energy efficiency was 0.59 g kWh^-1. O3 production/decomposition > production of OH radicals > electronic and ionic collisions were indicated as the main mechanisms influencing benzene abatement in this research.

A new four-dimensional quadratic smooth autonomous chaotic system is presented in this paper, which can exhibit periodic orbit and chaos under the conditions on the system parameters. Importantly, the system can generate one-, two-, three- and four-scroll chaotic attractors with appropriate choices of parameters. Interestingly, all the attractors are generated only by changing a single parameter. The dynamic analysis approach in the paper involves time series, phase portraits, Poincare maps, a bifurcation diagram, and Lyapunov exponents, to investigate some basic dynamical behaviours of the proposed four-dimensional system.

Optimization of Bottom-hinged Flap-type Wave Energy Converter for a Specific Wave Rose

In this paper, we conducted a numerical analysis on the bottom-hinged flap-type Wave Energy Convertor (WEC). The basic model, implemented through the study using ANSYS-AQWA, has been validated by a three-dimensional physical model of a pitching vertical cylinder. Then, a systematic parametric assessment has been performed on stiffness, damping, and WEC direction against an incoming wave rose, resulting in an optimized flap-type WEC for a specific spot in the Persian Gulf. Here, stiffness is tuned to have a near-resonance condition considering the wave rose, while damping is modified to capture the highest energy for each device direction. Moreover, such sets of specifications have been checked at different directions to present the best combination of stiffness, damping, and device heading. It has been shown that for a real condition, including different wave heights, periods, and directions, it is very important to implement the methodology introduced here to guarantee device performance.

Gully erosion is one of the most important forms of land degradation in many regions of the *** the process of gully erosion therefore is important for better management of the wa-tersheds prone to gully ***,many different aspects of gully erosion,like hydrological behavior,are still not fully *** present study investigates the spatial distribution of soil moisture content(SMC),as one of the hydrological factors,at different depths and points across the cross section in the vicinity of the headcut of three gullies located in the Kalat County,Khorasan Razavi Province,*** were measured at depths of 10,20,30,50,70 and 100 cm at each seven points across the study cross sections one to three days after occurrence of three rain *** sampling points were symmetrically located at a distance of 50 cm outside the gully banks,two at the vertex of the sidewalls,two in the middle of the sidewalls and one at the center of gully cross *** were measured using a weighted *** of the study revealed a broad range of changes in SMCs at various depths and *** minimum and maximum SMCs were found to be about 2%and 38%,respectively,for the study period and gullies under *** coefficient of variation(CV)had drastic changes for various gullies and storm events from 2 to 107%.Results further indicated that SMC moved from the sidewalls towards the floor of the cross ***,the maximum SMC for storm events was associated with the point located in the center of gullies,which indicated the role of gully system in draining soil *** findings of this study will help watershed managers un-derstand the important role of gully facies in changing water content of the soil that affects other eco-hydrological processes.

A new complexing agent Ethylene Diamine N,N,N,N-Tetra N-Acetyl Diamine（EDTNAD）,was used for Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ（BSCFO） *** chemicals such as ammonia,nitric acid and citric acid were eliminated in comparison to the commonly used EDTA *** agent makes complexing synthesis method a single step and causes more homogeneity in the liquid and solid *** sintering process was studied at temperatures between 1000 to 1200℃,heating-cooling rates of 1,2,5,10℃/min and dwell time of 2,5,10 and 15 ***-sintered membranes were investigated by X-ray diffraction （XRD）,scanning electron microscopy （SEM）,and density *** the SEM images and X-ray diffraction of the BSCFO disks,it could be seen that above 1100℃,crystal intensity decreased,and melting and deformation of the disk *** results show that in restricted temperature range,1000-1100℃,10% temperature increase leads to about a 4.5% density increase but a 200% increase in dwell time leads to about a 4% density *** could be concluded that the effect of temperature on grain growth,porosity and density is more than that of dwell *** also showed that the heating-cooling rate has no significant effect on grain size and density.

One of the most important reasons for the serious damage of embankment dams is their impermissible ***,it can be stated that the prediction of settlement of a dam is of paramount *** study aims to apply intelligent methods to predict settlement after constructing central core rockfill *** were made in this research to prepare models for predicting settlement of these dams using the information of 35 different central core rockfill dams all over the world and Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Interface System(ANFIS) and Gene Expression Programming(GEP) *** such as height of dam(H) and compressibility index(Ci) were considered as the input ***,a form was designed using visual basic software for predicting dam *** respect to the accuracy of the results obtained from the intelligent methods,they can be recommended for predicting settlement after constructing central core rockfill dams for the future plans.
