In this paper we establish asymptotic results and a generalized uniform law of the iterated logarithm （LIL） for the increments of a strictly stationary random process, whose results are proved by separating linearly positive quadrant dependent （LPQD） random process and linearly negative quadrant dependent （LNQD） one, respectively.

Let {ξ j ; j ∈ ℤ+ d be a centered stationary Gaussian random field, where ℤ+ d is the d-dimensional lattice of all points in d-dimensional Euclidean space ℝd, having nonnegative integer coordinates. For each j = (j 1 , ..., jd) in ℤ+ d , we denote |j| = j 1 ... j d and for m, n ∈ ℤ+ d , define S(m, n] = Σ mζ j , σ2(|n−m|) = ES 2 (m, n], S n = S(0, n] and S 0 = 0. Assume that σ(|n|) can be extended to a continuous function σ(t) of t > 0, which is nondecreasing and regularly varying with exponent α at b ≥ 0 for some 0 < α < 1. Under some additional conditions, we study limsup results for increments of partial sum processes and prove as well the law of the iterated logarithm for such partial sum processes.

We study the right duo property on regular elements,and we say that rings with this property are right *** is first shown that the right duo property is preserved by right quotient rings when the given rings are right *** prove that thepolynomial ring over a ring R is right DR if and only if R is *** is also proved that for a prime number p,the group ring KG of a finite p-group G over a field K of characteristic p is right DR if and only if it is right duo,and that there exists a group ring KG that is neither DR nor duo when G is not a p-group.

Reconstructing a three-dimensional(3D)environment is an indispensable technique to make augmented reality and augmented virtuality feasible.A Kinect device is an efficient tool for reconstructing 3D environments,and using multiple Kinect devices enables the enhancement of reconstruction density and expansion of virtual *** employ multiple devices simultaneously,Kinect devices need to be calibrated with respect to each *** are several schemes available that calibrate 3D images generated frommultiple Kinect devices,including themarker detection *** this study,we introduce a markerless calibration technique for Azure Kinect devices that avoids the drawbacks of marker detection,which directly affects calibration accuracy;it offers superior userfriendliness,efficiency,and ***,we applied a joint tracking algorithm to approximate the *** methods require the information of multiple joints for calibration;however,Azure Kinect,the latest version of Kinect,requires the information of only one *** obtained result was further refined using the iterative closest point *** conducted several experimental tests that confirmed the enhanced efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method for multiple Kinect devices when compared to the conventional markerbased calibration.

Origin of strain-induced resonances in flexible terahertz metamaterials

Two types of flexible terahertz metamaterials were fabricated on polyethylene naphthalate（PEN） substrates. The unit cell of one type consists of two identical split-ring resonators（SRRs） that are arranged face-to-face（i.e., Flex Meta F）; the unit cell of the other type has nothing different but is arranged back-to-back（i.e., Flex Meta B）. Flex Meta F and Flex Meta B illustrate the similar transmission dips under zero strain because the excitation of fundamental inductive–capacitive（LC）resonance is mainly dependent on the geometric structure of individual SRR. However, if a gradually variant strain is applied to bend Flex Meta F and Flex Meta B, the new resonant peaks appear： in the case of Flex Meta F, the peaks are located at the lower frequencies; in the case of Flex Meta B, the peaks appear at the frequencies adjacent to the LC resonance. The origin and evolution of strain-induced resonances are studied. The origin is ascribed to the detuning effect and the different responses to strain from Flex Meta F and Flex Meta B are associated with the coupling effect. These findings may improve the understanding on flexible terahertz metamaterials and benefit their applications in flexible or curved devices.

In this paper, we prove introduce some fixed point theorems for quasi-contraction under the cyclical conditions. Then, we point out that a common fixed point extension is also applicable via our earlier results equipped together with a weaker cyclical properties, namely a co-cyclic representation. Examples are as well provided along this paper.

Developing highly efficient and durable catalysts for future electrochemical and energy applications is one of the main subjects of current studies in renewable energy generation. In the past several years, researchers have developed Pt-based alloy electrocatalyst nanomaterials that exhibit promising electrocatalytic properties for various electrochemical applications. The efficient structural and morphological control of Pt-based alloy materials plays a decisive role in achieving these enhanced electrocatalytic properties. The present review article emphasizes the recent progress and important developments in the synthesis and electrocatalytic applications of Pt-group-based nanodendrite materials. The following review will help the exploration and development of better catalysts for practical applications and aims to elucidate the nanodendrite structure of Pt-group metals.
