The role of copper element has been an increasingly relevant topic in recent years in the fields of human and animal health, for both the study of new drugs and innovative food and feed supplements. This metal plays an important role in the central nervous system, where it is associated with glutamatergic signaling, and it is widely involved in inflammatory processes. Thus, diseases involving copper(Ⅱ) dyshomeostasis often have neurological symptoms, as exemplified by Alzheimer's and other diseases(such as Parkinson's and Wilson's diseases). Moreover, imbalanced copper ion concentrations have also been associated with diabetes and certain types of cancer, including glioma. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive overview of recent results that show the importance of these metal ions in several pathologies, mainly Alzheimer's disease, through the lens of the development and use of copper chelators as research compounds and potential therapeutics if included in multi-target hybrid drugs. Seeing how copper homeostasis is important for the well-being of animals as well as humans, we shortly describe the state of the art regarding the effects of copper and its chelators in agriculture, livestock rearing, and aquaculture, as ingredients for the formulation of feed supplements as well as to prevent the effects of pollution on animal productions.

In this paper, we consider the nonlinear instability of incompressible Euler equations. If a steady density is non-monotonic, then the smooth steady state is a nonlinear instability. First, we use variational method to find a dominant eigenvalue which is important in the construction of approximate solutions, then by energy technique and analytic method, we obtain the dynamical instability result.

Honghu Lake, which is listed in the Ramsar Convention, was found to be contaminated with elevated nutrients to a certain *** study investigated the seasonal variation of major nutrients and probabilistic eutrophic state in surface water from Honghu Lake. Average concentrations of total nitrogen(TN), total phosphorus(TP), chlorophyll-a(Chl-a), chemical oxygen demand(COD_(Mn)) and transparency(SD) in summer and winter generally exceeded Grade III of the Chinese environmental quality standards for surface water(GB 3838-2002), with the exception of COD_(Mn)in winter. Mean concentrations of Chl-a and COD_(Mn) in summer were higher than that in winter, while mean concentrations of TN, TP and SD were slightly higher in winter. The improved probabilistic comprehensive trophic level index(PTLI) method based on stochastic-fuzzy theory was established to evaluate the eutrophic state in Honghu Lake. Compared with the Monte-Carlo sampling method, the Latin Hypercube sampling(LH-TFN) method was selected for the evaluation simulation due to its efficiency and stability. Evaluation results indicated that mean PTLI in summer(69.70) and winter(61.96) were both subordinated to Grade IV(Medium eutrophication). The corresponding reliability of eutrophication level subordinating to Grade IV in summer was of relatively low reliability(51.27%),which might mislead decision makers to some extent and suggest recheck. The probabilistic eutrophication level in summer developed with a trend from medium to severe eutrophication. Sensitivity analysis illustrated that COD_(Mn)and Chl-a were the priority pollutants in summer, with the contributions to PTLI of 43.3% and 22.5% respectively. Chl-a was the priority pollutant in winter, with the contribution to PTLI up to 51.3%.

Following Dibooglu and Kutan(2005),we construct a structural VAR model to investigate the impact of RMB(the Chinese currency)appreciation on growth and inflation in *** empirical results show that RMB appreciation has negative effects on output growth and inflation while neither effect is statistically ***,exchange rate shocks are important in the fluctuations of output growth and *** also simulate the scenario of a sharp currency appreciation compared to the gradual approach adopted by the Chinese *** the counterfactual analysis we find that a sharp appreciation would lead to more violent shocks in economic growth and inflation compared to the gradual approach.

We examine the association between audit quality and the use of collateral in a sample of Chinese firms from 2005 to 2011. Using the full sample, we document a negative relationship between audit quality and the use of collateral that is consistent with lenders' interests. We also show that audit quality and collateral are regarded as alternative means of reducing debt credit risk. Our conclusions are robust after using an auditor-switching test, the Heckman two-stage model and a propensity-score matching model to address endogeneity issues. China's institutional background is also considered. First, we find that in the group of firms in which large shareholders are able to control borrowers' activities, the substitution effects between collateral and audit quality are reduced when the degree of separation between large shareholders' control and ownership is high. Second, these substitution effects are greater when the borrowers' ultimate controller is a state-owned enterprise(SOE) rather than a non-state-owned enterprise(NSOE). Third, the differences in substitution effects between NSOEs and SOEs are smaller in areas with a high marketdevelopment index. We conclude that the substitution effects are smaller in high credit risk firms than in low credit risk firms.

Technical debt is considered detrimental to the long-term success of software development,but despite the numerous studies in the literature,there are still many aspects that need to be investigated for a better understanding of *** particular,the main problems that hinder its complete understanding are the absence of a clear definition and a model for its identification,management,and *** on forecasting technical debt,there is a growing notion that preventing technical debt build-up allows you to identify and address the riskiest debt items for the project before they can permanently compromise ***,despite this high relevance,the forecast of technical debt is still little *** this end,this study aims to evaluate whether the quality metrics of a software system can be useful for the correct prediction of the technical ***,the data related to the quality metrics of 8 different open-source software systems were analyzed and supplied as input to multiple machine learning algorithms to perform the prediction of the technical *** addition,several partitions of the initial dataset were evaluated to assess whether prediction performance could be improved by performing a data *** results obtained show good forecasting performance and the proposed document provides a useful approach to understanding the overall phenomenon of technical debt for practical purposes.
