＜正＞Performance of search during matching phase in a speaker identification system realized through vector quantization （VQ） is investigated in this paper. Voice of each person is recorded in a office room with personal computers. LPC-cepstrum is selected as feature vector. In order to gain higher success rate of identification, it is necessary to use larger size codebook for each person. Consequently, it is extremely time-consuming to do full matching directly with all of registered larger size codebooks for large population to determine who the current speaker is. To fulfill identification at a tolerable speed, trade-off between success rate and search time is unavoidable usually. In this paper, a fast search method is proposed that is based on pre-selection and hierarchical matching so as to eliminate a large amount of impossible candidates before doing final fine matching with larger size codebooks meanwhile keep the success rate not degraded. Pre-selection is achieved using livergences between unknown input speech and all registered codebooks. Hierarchical matching is implemented using smaller size codebook and larger size codebook corresponding to each person respectively. With this method, for a population of 290, time required for identification can be reduced to about 13％ while memory occupation is increased by just 6％ when baselines are taken as those using larger size codebooks in conventional way. Success rate is not degraded as 94％ comparing to that acquired in conventional way as well.

The Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has widespread implications for clinical practice of otolaryngologists in clinics and hospitals. With various reports of otolaryngology practitioners catching infection, a profound structural reorganization of ENT services in the clinic is mandatory for protecting both patients and healthcare workers. The present study focused on quantifying the cost involved in reorganizing the otolaryngology out-patient services in a third world country during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Though the pandemic has increased the cost of running of an otolaryngology practice world over, the impact is huge in India as penetration of health insurance/social security is minimal. As out of pocket expenditure forms a significant proportion of healthcare spending by majority in India, any transfer of additional cost incurred because of Covid-19 pandemic to the patient will burn a bigger hole in their pocket.

The tomato(Solanum lycopersicum L.)is one of the world’s most important vegetable ***,phytopathogenic bacteria affect the yield and quality of tomato cultivation,like Agrobacterium tumefeciens(At),Clavibacter michiganensis ***(Cmm),Pseudomonas syringae ***(Pst),Ralstonia solanacearum(Rs),and Xanthomonas axonopodis(Xa).Synthetic chemical products are used mostly on disease plant control,but overuse generates resistance to bacterial *** study aimed to evaluate the in vitro antibacterial activity of the ethanolic extract of Moringa oleifera *** against At,Cmm,Pst,Rs,and Xa,as well as information about this plant species’chemical *** activity against pathogens observed by microplate technique,phytochemical screening,and FTIR analysis revealed different bio-active compounds on ethanolic extracts with antibacterial *** growth inhibition rate ranged between 0.08%and 99.94%.The inhibitory concentration,IC50,required to inhibit 50%of At,Cmm,Pst,Rs,and Xa bacterial growth,was 276.67,350.48,277.85,351.49,and 283.22 mg/L,*** of phytopathogen bacteria’s growth increased as the concentrations of the extract also *** oleifera extract can be recommended as a potent bio-bactericide.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of repeated exposure of fish flesh containing formalin on the expression of Heat Shock Protein 70 （HSP70） in liver of mice （Mus musculus）. The expression of HSP70 in the liver of mice were determined using immunohistochemical techniques. The data of HSP70 expression were analyzed using two-way ANOVA with treatment factor and time factor as independent variable. Treatment factor consisted of four categories: negative control, positive control of fish, positive control of formaldehyde, and treatment of fish containing formaldehyde. Time factor consisted of four categories: repeated exposure during 0, 2, 14, and 62 days. Results of data analysis showed that the formaldehyde treatment either in the form of single compounds or mixtures with fish flesh can increase the expression of HSP70. Based on the time factor, HSP70 expression was increased on 2 days repeated exposure, and gradually decreased on 14 and 62 days.

This paper introduces a computer program to choose the most suitable wind turbine for each site according to technical and economical *** criterion for choosing the most suitable wind turbine for each site is according to which wind turbine and site give a maximum capacity factor and minimum cost of energy（$/kWh）.This criterion is used because the decision of matching which depends only on maximum capacity factor is not enough because capacity factor is independent of rated power of wind ***,two wind turbines with the same performance parameters but different rated power get the same capacity factor for the same site but it does not get the same cost of energy（$/kWh）.The computer program has been applied on five locations in Saudi *** five locations are Yanbou,Dhahran,Douhlom,Riyadh and *** wind turbine parameters such as hub height,rated power,cut-in,rated,and furling wind speeds for ten commercial wind turbines are *** Weibull parameters have been estimated numerically and graphically for these five *** values of Weibull parameters obtained graphically are similar to the numerical *** methods have been used for estimating the cost of *** results from these three methods have been compared and the suitable one for Saudi Arabia economics has been selected.

1 The unique ocean forecasting system (OFS) based on FIO-COM The OFS is based on the surface wave-tide-circulation coupled ocean model developed by the First Institute of Oceanography (FIO-COM), Ministry of Natural Resources, China. The half-century challenge that ocean circulation models must address is that the forecasting/simulated sea surface temperature overheats while the sub-surface temperature is too cold, especially during the summer. Qiao et al.(2004, 2010, 2016) found that the non-breaking surface wave can generate turbulence through wave-turbulence interaction, and they developed the wave-induced mixing theory, which has been confirmed by observations, laboratory experiments and model numerical simulations. As validated by ocean circulation models from various research groups, including Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) in the US (Fan and Griffies, 2014), Uppsala University of Sweden (Wu et al., 2015), Laboratoire d’Etudes en Geophysique et Oceanographie Spatiale (LEGOS) in France (Malek and Babanin, 2014), Budapest University of Technology and economics in Hungary (Peter and Kramer, 2016) and the Ocean University of China (Lin et al., 2006), the non-breaking surface waveinduced vertical mixing (Bv) can always dramatically improve the simulation capacity of various ocean circulation models. The First Institute of Oceanography (FIO) research group found that tidal-induced mixing plays a key role in the formation of coastal upwelling, in the bottom mixed layer and in areas with sea mounts (Lv et al., 2006, 2008). With the above breakthroughs, the first surface wavetide-circulation coupled model of FIO-COM was developed in 2013. It was adopted to produce a reanalysis dataset for the period of January 2014 to April 2016, and it has been used for the operational OFS since May 2016. First, preprocess the data. Perform data screening based on the completeness and redundancy of the information, delete data with less than the threshold, and use pca to combine indicators of different attributes. Normalize the retained school indicators. Determine the weight between the indicators. Calculate the school’s score and allocate funds according to the school’s score. Second, define the index for evaluating investment benefits, and reflect the changes in growth efficiency re and growth efficiency rate rgr to reflect the cost-related benefits. rgr determines the investment period as 7 years. Starting from the cost-effectiveness of the investment, evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of the investment, establish a dea cost-effectiveness analysis model, and determine the school with the best unit return on investment. Consider the subjective processing in data preprocessing. The corresponding results are compared with the original results to illustrate the rationality of the subjective treatment.
