Calix[n]arenes was utilized to detect PABA,the primary sunscreen *** study investigates the interaction of calix[4]arene(C4),calix[6]arene(C6),and PABA using the Langmuir method and first-principle density functional theory(DFT).Using the Langmuir-Schaefer(LS)technique,an ultrathin film composed of calix[n]arenes and their complexes with PABA was deposited on various *** on the Langmuir study,the PABA molecule was bonded to the lower rims of both C4 and C6 with the host-guest ratio of 1:*** of the LS films formed were then characterized by ultravioletvisible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and carbon,hydrogen,nitrogen,sulfur elemental analyzer(CHNS).The band gap reduction obtained in the DFT study denotes the charge transfer interaction with promising reactivity between the calix[n]arenes and *** sensing of PABA by C4 and C6 is successful based on the formation of bonding between them due to the hosts’effective trapping *** outcomes of this study could be applied to drug delivery systems for future pharmaceutical and medical applications.

The utilization of an efficient photocatalyst is crucial for the photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics in water through visible light,which is an imperative requirement for the remediation of water *** this study,a novel Cu-CeO_(2)/BiOBr Z-type heterojunction was synthesized by calcination and hydrothermal methods,and the degradation rate of sulfathiazole(STZ)antibiotic solution was studied using simulated illumination(300 W xenon lamp).The results indicated that 3%Cu-CeO_(2)/BiOBr achieved a degradation rate of 92.3%within 90 min when treating 20 mg/L STZ solution,demonstrating its potential for practical water treatment *** using various chemical instruments revealed that 3%Cu-CeO_(2)/Bi OBr exhibited the lowest electron-hole recombination rate and electron transfer ***,the utilization of ESR data and quenching experiments has substantiated the involvement of hydroxyl radicals(·OH)and superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(-))as the primary active ***,a plausible degradation mechanism has been *** findings offer a prospective approach for the development of heterojunction materials with appropriate band matching.

In the preparation of a series of Ce_(0.8)Zr_(0.2)O_(y)catalysts catalyzing the removal of formaldehyde,BET,H2-TPR,IR,SEM,XPS,and XRD were used to characterize the catalyst,and the influence of humidity on the catalyst activity was studied by adjusting the humidity during the *** experimental results showed that the formaldehyde removal rate increased with the increase of *** the humidity was higher than 50%,the formaldehyde removal rate decreased by 3%over that when the humidity was 50%.The characterization results showed that humidity facilitated the activation of oxygen and the formation of hydroxyl groups,which both promoted the formation and oxidative decomposition of intermediates and prevented the deposition of intermediates that clogged the pores,allowing more formaldehyde to be adsorbed and oxidized,which increased the activity of the *** provides new mechanistic evidence for the oxidation of formaldehyde and helps in the development of relatively low-cost materials for formaldehyde purification.

The increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide （CO2） concentration has exposed a series of crises in the earth's ecological *** to effectively fix and convert carbon dioxide into products with added value has attracted the attention of many ***-free enzyme catalytic system coupled with electrical and light have been a promising attempt in the field of biological carbon fixation in recent *** this review,the research progresses of photoenzyme catalysis,electroenzyme catalysis and photo-electroenzyme catalysis for converting carbon dioxide into chemical products in cell-free systems are systematically *** focus on reviewing and comparing various coupling methods and principles of photoenzyme catalysis and electroenzyme catalysis in cell-free systems,especially the materials used in the construction of the coupling system,and analyze and point out the characteristics and possible problems of different coupling ***,we discuss the major challenges and prospects of coupling physical signals and cell-free enzymatic catalytic systems in the field of CO2fixation,suggesting possible strategies to improve the carbon sequestration capacity of such systems.

Herein,a colorimetric chemosensor （probe 7） was designed and synthesized for sensing diethyl cyanophosphonate （DCNP）,a Tabun nerve agent *** sensitive,selective,fast response and photostable probe 7 in dimethylsulfoxide （DMSO）responded to DCNP at low concentrations with visual naked eye color change from pink to pale yellow and displayed unresponsive behaviour against various interferences except for copper ions,which can be di?erentiated by adding ethylene diamine where the yellow color persisted in the case of DCNP but turned to pink in the case of copper ***,the yellow aqueous solution of probe 7 at pH 10 and 12 turned colorless against the response of *** limit of detection（LOD） of probe 7 was found to be 50 nmol/L in an aqueous basic solution at pH 10 for the detection of *** formation of the cyclized product was elucidated by1H and31P NMR nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR,31P NMR),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）,and high-resolution mass spectrometry （HRMS） ***?lter paper and silica plate loaded with probe 7 were fabricated for real-time and on-site detection of DCNP.

In this paper,we prove some Liouville-type theorems for the stationary magnetomicropolar fluids under suitable conditions in three space *** first prove that the solutions are trivial under the assumption of certain growth conditions for the mean oscillations of the *** then we show similar results assuming that the solutions are contained in Lp（R3） with p ∈ [2,9/2).Finally,we show the same result for lower values of p ∈ [1,9/4) with the further assumption that the solutions vanish at infinity.

Handwritten character recognition is considered challenging compared with machine-printed characters due to the different human writing *** is morphologically rich,and its characters have a high *** Arabic language includes 28 *** character has up to four shapes according to its location in the word(at the beginning,middle,end,and isolated).This paper proposed 12 CNN architectures for recognizing handwritten Arabic *** proposed architectures were derived from the popular CNN architectures,such as VGG,ResNet,and Inception,to make them applicable to recognizing character-size *** experimental results on three well-known datasets showed that the proposed architectures significantly enhanced the recognition rate compared to the baseline *** experiments showed that data augmentation improved the models’accuracies on all tested *** proposed model outperformed most of the existing *** best achieved results were 93.05%,98.30%,and 96.88%on the HIJJA,AHCD,and AIA9K datasets.

This essay is a re-application of the language codes of Roland Barthes and Jonathan Culler’s concept for Structuralist *** approach I use explores the codes demonstrated in Barthes’well-known text,S/Z with slight modifications for their application to *** concepts borrowed from *** are from his book of the same title:Structuralist Poetics:Structuralism,Linguistics and the Study of Literature(Cornell University Press,1975).Culler’s main argument is that there must be other,un-attempted strategies combined with conventional approaches in literature of that time *** answer to this problem was to develop a set of linguistic-based concepts to compensate for the reader in the analysis of literary works.I have applied in this essay my approach based on Culler’s methodology and the language codes of Roland Barthes:semantic,symbolic,cultural-referential,actional and hermeneutic.I apply Culler’s concepts to a reading of poetry followed by an application of the language codes as a further development of my work in revitalizing this never-before applied method.
