Landslide Susceptibility Assessment Using Conditional Analysis and Rare Events Logistics Regression: A Case-Study in the Antrodoco Area (Rieti, Italy)

This paper discusses some methodological aspects for the production of susceptibility maps of slope instability developed within the CARG Project (Geological cartography of Italy at 1:50,000 scale). It describes an example of a susceptibility map in the presence of low susceptibility, using database having zero or negligible cost, with the aim to test some methodologies that can be easily reproducible to get a first estimate of the landslide susceptibility on a wide area. Two statistical approaches have been applied: the non-parametric conditional analysis and the logistic analysis for rare events. The predictive ability obtained from the two methodologies, was evaluated by the success-prediction curves for the conditional analysis, and by the Receiver Operating Characteristic curve (ROC), for the logistic model. The landslide susceptibility maps have been classified into four classes using both the Natural Breaks algorithm and the method proposed by Chung and Fabbri (2003). The paper considers the influence of these two classification methods on the quality of final results.

Map is one of the communication means created by human *** have been making efforts on the comparison of maps to natural languages so as to establish a"cartographic language"or"map language".One of such efforts is to adopt the Shannon’s Information Theory originated in digital communication into cartography so as to establish an entropy-based cartographic communication ***,success has been very limited although research work had started as early as the mid-1960 *** is then found that the bottleneck problem was the lack of appropriate measures for the spatial(configurational)information of(graphic and image)maps,as the classic Shannon entropy is only capable of characterizing statistical information but fails to capture the configurational information of(graphic and image)***,after over 40-year development,some bottleneck problems have been *** precisely,generalized Shannon entropies for metric and thematic information of(graphic)maps have been developed and the first feasible solution for computing the Boltzmann entropy of image maps has been invented,which is capable of measuring the spatial information of not only numerical images but also categorical *** such progress,it is now feasible to build the"Information Theory of cartography".In this paper,a framework for such a theory is proposed and some key issues are *** these issues,some have already been tackled while others still need *** a result,a research agenda is set for future *** all these issues are tackled,the theory will become matured so as to become a theoretic basis of *** is expected that the Information Theory of cartography will play an increasingly important role in the discipline of cartography because more and more researchers have advocated that information is more fundamental than matter and energy.

CD4+T cells play fundamental roles in orchestrating immune responses and tissue ***,our inability to associate peptide human leukocyte antigen class-II(HLA-II)complexes with their cognate T cell receptors(TCRs)in an unbiased manner has hampered our understanding of CD4^(+)T cell function and role in ***,we introduce TScan-II,a highly sensitive genome-scale CD4^(+) antigen discovery *** platform seamlessly integrates the endogenous HLA-II antigen-processing machinery in synthetic antigen-presenting cells and TCR signaling in T cells,enabling the simultaneous screening of multiple HLAs and *** genome-scale human,virome,and epitope mutagenesis libraries,TScan-II facilitates de novo antigen discovery and deep exploration of TCR *** demonstrate TScan-II's potential for basic and translational research by identifying a non-canonical antigen for a cancer-reactive CD4^(+)T cell ***,we identified two antigens for clonally expanded CD4^(+)T cells in Sjögren's disease,which bind distinct HLAs and are expressed in HLA-II-positive ductal cells within affected salivary glands.

Of all the methods of studies on bio-estimation of air pollution by lichen flora, the authors cannot justify a choice of one method over another. Consultation of previous work by researchers has allowed us to compare these methods and to better understand their strengths and limitations. Under the terms of estimating the pollution, these methods are classified into three categories. Some are qualitative, quantitative and others are finally some indirect methods. The methods used to assess the overall air pollution relative value for each station studied. As part of our work, the authors have chosen a quantitative approach based on the combination of two methods. They are based on pollution indices obtained from mathematical formulas based on various parameters related to the lichen flora. They are represented by the I.P. （index poleotolerance） and the I.A.P. （index of atmospheric purity） and these two indices allowed us to map of global air pollution in the city of Skikda and petrochemical industry as well as peri-urban areas （Haddaiek, Hamadi Krouma, Hamrouche Hamoudi, Larbi Ben M＇Hidi）. The authors have identified areas of iso-pollution around different emission centers represented by the largest petrochemical area, traffic and households in urban areas of Skikda, Hamadi Krouma, Hamrouche Hamoudi and Larbi Ben M＇Hidi.

The soybean root system is *** addition to being composed of various cell types,the soybean root system includes the primary root,the lateral roots,and the nodule,an organ in which mutualistic symbiosis with N-fixing rhizobia occurs.A mature soybean root nodule is characterized by a central infection zone where atmospheric nitrogen is fixed and assimilated by the symbiont,resulting from the close cooperation between the plant cell and the *** date,the transcriptome of individual cells isolated from developing soybean nodules has been established,but the transcriptomic signatures of cells from the mature soybean nodule have not yet been *** single-nucleus RNA-seq and Molecular cartography technologies,we precisely characterized the transcriptomic signature of soybean root and mature nodule cell types and revealed the co-existence of different sub-populations of ***-infected cells in the mature soybean nodule,including those actively involved in nitrogen fixation and those engaged in *** of the single-cell-resolution nodule transcriptome atlas and the associated gene co-expression network confirmed the role of known nodulation-related genes and identified new genes that control the nodulation *** instance,we functionally characterized the role of GmFWL3,a plasma membrane microdomain-associated protein that controls rhizobial *** study reveals the unique cellular complexity of the mature soybean nodule and helps redefine the concept of cell types when considering the infection zone of the soybean nodule.

介绍了应用InSAR技术监测矿区地表沉降以及地下开采活动的原理;利用重轨差分InSAR技术获得了峰峰矿区地表ENVISAT和JERS 1的雷达形变干涉相位图;分析了在矿区地表沉降过程中ENVISATC波段和JERS 1 L波段形变干涉相位图的相干特性、相位特性以及干涉测量技术在矿区地表沉降监测中应用的可行性和局限性。实验结果表明,利用C波段和L波段雷达数据可以实施对矿区地表沉降的监测,但是C波段雷达受到空间干涉基线的限制更加严格,如果要实现对矿区地表沉降的监测,需要充分利用每个卫星回访时期的雷达数据,建立长时序的星载雷达形变干涉相位图序列,才能较好地实现矿区地表沉降监测。
