Azithromycin-containing versus standard triple therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication:A meta-analysis

AIM： To evaluate whether adding azithromycin to firstline Helicobacter pylori （H pylorl） eradication improved eradication and reduced side effects. METHODS： Eligible articles were identified by searches of electronic databases. We included all randomized trials that compared azithromycin-containing with standard triple-therapy regimens for first-line treatment of H pylori infection. Statistical analysis was performed with Review Manager 5.0.10. Sub-analyses were also performed. RESULTS： We identified 14 randomized trials （1431 patients）. Pooled Hpylori eradication rates were 72.01% （95% CI： 58.09%-85.93%） and 69.78% （95% CI： 66.47%-73.09%） for patients with or without azithromycin by intention-to-treat analysis, and the odds ratio （OR） was 1.17 （95% CI： 0.64-2.14）. The occurrence of side effects differed significantly and was 15.81% （95% CI： 12.50%-19.12%） and 25.20% （95% CI： 21.44%-28.96%） for treatment with or without azithromycin, respectively, and the summary OR was 0.58 （95% CI： 0.41-0.82）. Furthermore, the azithromycin-containing group had a lower occurrence of diarrhea, nausea and taste disturbance. CONCLUSION： Our review suggests that azithromycincontaining triple-therapy regimens could be equally effective in eradication of Hpylori compared with standard first-line triple-therapy regimens.

This paper reports the doping effect of cholesteric liquid crystal 3β-Hydroxy-5-cholestene 3-oleate on polymer solar cells composed of the poly 3-hexyl thiophene and the fullerene *** a doping ratio of 0.3 wt%,the device achieves an ideal improvement on the shunt resistor and the fill *** with the reference cell,the power conversion efficiency of the doped cell is improved 24%.The photoelectric measurement and the active layer characterization indicate that the self-assembly liquid crystal can improve the film crystallization and reduce the membrane defect.

The O-Ag（210） surface adsorption system was studied via the five-parameter Morse potential theory. Mean- while, the 20-Ag （ 210） system was investigated v/a the extended London-Eyring-Polanyi-Sato （LEPS） potential theo- ry to learn the interaction between the adsorption states. Calculated results demonstrate that there are two stable on- surface adsorption sites（B and H） for 0 atoms on Ag（210） stepped surface. And the perpendicular vibrations are 30. 3 and 42.9 meV, which are close to that observed in high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy （HREELS）. Also, there exists an octabedral subsurface adsorption state with a high vibrational frequency, and the interaction between the on-surface and subsurface 0 species is slight. The mode at 54.6 meV, which is close to that observed in HREELS（54-56 meV）, is because of the vibration of the 0 atom on B site under the influence of that on H site.

The problem of scalable classification by clustering in large databases was discussed. Clustering based classification method first generates clusters using clustering algorithms. To classify new coming da-ta points, it finds the κ nearest clusters of the data point as neighbors, and assign each data point to the dominant class of these neighbors. Existing algorithms incorporated class information in making clustering decisions and produced pure clusters （each cluster associated with only one class）. We presented hybrid cluster based algorithms, which produce clusters by unsupervised clustering and allow each cluster associ- ated with multiple classes. Experimental results show that hybrid cluster based algorithms outperform pure ones in both classification accuracy and training soeed.

In this paper we consider the Cauchy problem of a class of quasilinear hyperbolic parabolic coupled systems. First, we derive the Lp decay estimates of solutions for the corresponding linearized problem, and then on the basis of these Lp decay estimates, delicately deriving the uniform a priori estimates of solutions to nonlinear coupled systems, we establish the global existence, uniqueness of smooth solutions and the decay rates as t→+∞. We also apply these results to the Cauchy problem for the systems of thermoelastic ty and radiation hydrodynamics.

Alkaloids from Stems of Ervatamia yunnanensis （Ⅱ）

Six indole alkaloids were isolated from the stems of Ervatamia yunnanensis. Among them, 10-hydroxy-19, 20-dihydroisositsirikine （I） is new. The other five are known alkaloids, namely： matrine （Ⅱ）, 19, 20-dihydroisositsirikine （Ⅲ）, 19-s-voacangarine （Ⅳ）, 1 l＇-methoxyl-19s- heyneanine （Ⅴ）, conodurine （Ⅵ）. The structural elucidation of the alkaloids was based on spectral means.

Environment friendly thermosetting composites were prepared by blending wheat gluten （WG） as matrix, calcium carbonate （CaCO3） as filler and glycerol as plasticizer followed by compression molding the mixture at 120 ℃ to crosslink the WG matrix. Morphology observation showed that the CaCO3 particles were finely dispersed in matrix. Incorporation of CaCO3 up to 10 wt% into the composites caused Young＇s modulus and tensile strength to increase markedly. On the other hand, the moisture absorption and elongation at break decreased slightly.
