We proposed a fault-tolerant control method based on machine vision to enhance the reliability of the robotic arm in the radiation ***,we introduced the joint angle visual detection method as an angle detection backup solution,which was used to timely detect the joint angle of the robotic arm in case of encoder ***,we introduced an encoder fault diagnosis mechanism,and the difference between the machine visual feedback value and corresponding encoder feedback values was used as the basis of encoder *** the encoder failed,it could be switched to the joint angle visual detection in real *** the Canny edge detection and the Probabilistic Hough transform,the method could extract the identification tag of robotic arm joint image from the front-end camera,and hence the joint angle value was ***,in the fault-tolerance experiment,the proposed approach found the encoder failure and switched detection method,and the scheduled task continued to the *** error about the angle detection based on the machine vision would not exceed ± 0.008.

While performing the typical task of point-to-point motion of redundant manipulator,single joint faults suddenly *** the effect of the configuration on the manipulator’s task,here we propose an improved genetic algorithm based on the measurement of manipulator end-to-target position error and the manipulability measure,which makes the end of the manipulator arrive at the target position with less error *** addition,it also makes the machine has a greater operable arm configuration upon *** is used for modeling and simulating with a three-link planar arm as an *** groups of simulation experiments are carried out to compare the improved genetic algorithm with the traditional genetic algorithm based on position error,and the simulation results are analyzed and ***,the physical robot proves the validity and reliability of this method.

Influence of Sea Surface Temperature on Outbreak of Ulva prolifera in the Southern Yellow Sea,China

In this study,using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)satellite images and environmental satellite CCD images,the spatio-temporal distribution of Ulva prolifera in the southern Yellow Sea during the period of 2011–2018 was extracted and combined with MODIS Level3 Photosynthetically Active Radiation(PAR)product data and Earth System Research Laboratory(ESRL)Sea Surface Temperature(SST)data to analyze their influences on the growth and outbreak of Ulva *** following conclusions were drawn:1)comprehensive analysis of Ulva prolifera distribution during the eight-year period revealed that the coverage area of Ulva prolifera typically exhibited a gradually increasing *** coverage area of Ulva prolifera reached a maximum of approximately 1714.21 km^2 during the eight-year period in late June *** area affected by Ulva prolifera *** mid-July 2014,the area affected by Ulva prolifera reached a maximum of approximately 39020.63 km^2.2)The average growth rate of Ulva prolifera was positive in May and June but negative in *** the outbreak of Ulva prolifera,the SST in the southern Yellow Sea tended to increase each *** SST anomaly and average growth rate of Ulva prolifera were positively correlated in May(R^2=0.62),but not significantly correlated in June or July.3)The variation trends of PAR and SST were approximately the same,and the PAR during this time period maintained a range of 40–50 mol/(m^2·d),providing sufficient illumination for the growth and outbreak of Ulva *** addition,the abundant nutrients and suitable temperature in the sea area near northern Jiangsu shoal resulted in a high growth rate of Ulva prolifera in *** summary,the outbreak of Ulva prolifera was closely related to the environmental factors including SST,nutrients,and *** nutrients and suitable temperatures resulted in a fast growth rate of Ulva ***,under poor nutrient conditions,even more suitable temperatu

P4S10 modified lithium anode for enhanced performance of lithium–sulfur batteries

To address the corrosion and dendrite issues of lithium metal anodes, a protective layer was ex-situ constructed by P4S10 modification. It was determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman spectra that the main constituents of the protective layer were P4S10, Li3PS4 and other LixPySztype derivatives. The protective layer was proved to be effective to stabilize the interphase of lithium metal. With the modified Li anodes, symmetric cells could deliver stable Li plating/stripping for 16000 h;Li–S batteries exhibited a specific capacity of 520 m A h g-1 after 200 cycles at 1000 m A g-1 with average coulombic efficiency of 97.9%. Therefore, introducing LixPySzbased layer to protect Li anode provides a new strategy for the improvement of Li metal batteries.

The extensive use of traditional cooking and heating stoves to meet domestic requirements creates a serious problem of indoor and outdoor air *** study reports the impacts of two fuel feeding methods-front-loading and top-loading on the thermal and emissions performance of a modern coal-fired water-heating and cooking stove using a contextual test sequence that replicates typical patterns of domestic *** as a low-pressure boiler,when this stove was fueled with raw coal,the findings indicate that front-loading the fuel,which devolatilizes the new fuel gradually,produced consistently higher space heating efficiency and lower emission factors than top-loading the same stove,which devolatilizes new fuel all at *** the performance at both high and low power gave the similar results:front-loading with raw coal produced consistently better results than *** average water heating efficiency when front-loading was(58.6±2.3)%and(53.4±1.8)%for *** the sixteen-hour test sequence,front-loading produced 22%lower emissions of PM2.5(3.9±0.6)mg/MJNET than top-loading(4.7±0.9)mg/*** same pattern was observed for carbon monoxide and the co/co2 *** was reduced from(5.0±0.4)g/MJNET to(4.1±0.5)g/*** combustion efficiency(co/co2 ratio)improved from(8.2±0.8)%to(6.6±0.6)%.Briquetted semi-coked coal briquettes are promoted as a raw coal substitute,and the tests were replicated using this ***,the same pattern of improved performance was *** loading produced 3.5%higher heating efficiency,10%lower co and a 0.9%lower co/co2 *** is concluded that,compared with top loading,the manufacturers recommended front-loading refueling behavior delivered better thermal,emissions and combustion performance under all test conditions with those two fuels.

Tokamak exhaust is an important part of the deuterium-tritium fuel cycle system in fusion *** this work,we present a laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS)-based method to monitor the gas compositions from the exhaust system in the tokamak ***(He),a main impurity in the exhaust gas,was mixed with hydrogen(H_(2))in different ratios through a self-designed gas distribution system,and sealed into a measurement chamber as a standard specimen.A 532 nm wavelength laser pulse with an output power of 100 mJ was used for plasma *** time-resolved LIBS is used to study the time evolution characteristics of the signal strength,signal-to-background ratio(SBR),signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and relative standard deviation(RSD)of the helium and hydrogen characteristic *** Boltzmann twoline method was employed to estimate the plasma temperature of laser-induced plasma(LIP).The Stark-broadened profile of He I 587.56 nm was exploited to measure the electron *** these studies,an appropriate time was determined in which the low RSD%was consistent with the high signal-to-noise *** He I 587.56 nm and Hαemission lines with good signalto-noise ratio were extracted from the spectrum and used in the external standard method and internal standard method for quantitative *** test results for mixed gas showed that the average relative error of prediction was less than 11.15%,demonstrating the great potential of LIBS in detecting impurities in plasma exhaust gas.

The Circular Electron Positron collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design Report(TDR)follows the Preliminary conceptual Design Report(Pre-CDR,2015)and the conceptual Design Report(CDR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.
