Location awareness in wireless networks is essential for emergency services,navigation,gaming,and many other *** article presents a method for source localization based on measuring the amplitude-phase distribution of the field at the base *** existing scatterers in the target area create unique scattered field interference at each source *** unique field interference at each source location results in a unique field signature at the base station which is used for source *** the proposed method,the target area is divided into a grid with a step of less than half the *** grid node is characterized by its field signature at the base *** signatures corresponding to all nodes are normalized and stored in the base station as fingerprints for source *** normalization of the field signatures avoids the need for time synchronization between the base station and the *** a source transmits signals,the generated field signature at the base station is normalized and then correlated with the stored *** maximum correlation value is given by the node to which the source is the *** simulations and results of experiments on ultrasonic waves in the air show that the ultrasonic source is correctly localized using broadband field signatures with one base station and without time *** proposed method is potentially applicable for indoor localization and navigation of mobile robots.

Background and Objective: In recent years, control of Enterococcus sp. It has been proven in the local medical environment to be a cause of acquired septicemia in various age groups, and medical instruments are considered an effective means of transmitting enterococcal septicemia, and catheters are at the forefront in terms of danger. Based on this risk, this study aimed to monitor the spread of Enterococcus sp., which causes blood poisoning acquired from catheters, and to compare its response to antibiotics with that of those isolated from clinical samples in children, as a first study locally. The effectiveness of alkaloids of different types of Papaver sp. In Syrian plants, they were tested against infection with this bacteria. Materials and Methods: The study dealt with two parts: The first part included collecting clinical samples from the university Children’s Hospital in damascus/bacterial diagnostic laboratories/then isolating and diagnosing the bacteria by following a set of tests to identify the most prevalent genera and species and comparing their prevalence rate with Enterococcus. The second part;It included collecting plant samples, confirming the species taxonomically, then extracting alkaloids from plant parts (fruit, stem, Flowers), then comparing the extent of resistance of bacterial strains to antibiotics compared to the Enterococcus sp., and then confirming the antibacterial activity of the Papaver sp. alkaloids against Enterococcus sp. Result:In its first part, the study confirmed the significant contribution of the Enterococcus sp. to infections acquired from various sources, largely in catheter tip infections (9.09%) and to a lesser extent in other sources (3.7%), The second part was to confirm the effective-ness of the alkaloid extract of the Papaver sp., especially the two species Papaver syriacum, and Papaver dubium, against Enterococcus sp. with areole diameters that ranged between (15 - 26 mm) for the fruit extract and at a minimum inhibit

The understanding of how genetic and epigenetic factors influence tumorigenesis, progression and invasion, is vastly growing since new technologies allow the analysis of the functional genome namely the exome, the transcriptome and the epigenome, besides enabling genome-wide assessment of genetic variations. With the advent of new drugs that are indicated tissue agnostic, depending on certain mutations, there is a growing demand for fast and cost-effective genetic diagnosis. The method in focus that already became an indispensable tool in viral diagnosis is next-generation sequencing (NGS). This approach allows sequencing of literally every DNA molecule in the sample and can either be used to assess numerous genetic markers of one patient at a time, or to assess fewer markers of many patients in parallel, which reduces costs. We submitted 23 samples of different tumor entities to four diagnostic companies with different analysis profiles. The results as disclosed and discussed in this report indicate that so far, the main application of NGS is rather in cancer research than in diagnosis, as none of the reports had a real impact on the therapeutic scheme. We are perfectly aware that such a small cohort cannot be generalized, but considering the costs vs. benefits, NGS should be engaged upon a very stringent evaluation only. However, in cases where obtaining a tissue biopsy is impossible or unfavorable, analysis of liquid biopsy by NGS provides a vital alternative.

The dolostones and dolomitic limestones of the lower Cretaceous Judea formation are a key target ofhydrocarbons in most of the Euphrates Graben fields. Core materials investigation, thin sections petrographicallyexaminations, and petrophysical evaluations were obtained to determine enhancement ofthe porosity through dolomitization. Results showed that the lagoon-shallow marine carbonates of theJudea formation are subdivided into two main zones;the upper “limestone zone” is micritic limestonesdominated with no reservoir potential, and the lower “dolomite zone” is dolomitic limestones anddolostones dominated with good to very good reservoir potential. Dolomitization of the mudstones andwackestones of the micritic limestones resulted in formation of microcrystalline dolomicrite and earlyfabric destructive dolomites. Conversely, dolomitization of the packstones and grainstones resulted information of the fabric destructive and saddle dolomites. Based on petrography data, dolomitization ofthe “limestone zone” is interpreted by the seawater dolomitization mechanism at low-temperatures,while dolomitization of the “dolomite zone” is interpreted by the burial dolomitization mechanismunder high temperature and pressure conditions. The “limestone zone” is characterized by the poorestreservoir quality, while the “dolomite zone” is characterized by the best reservoir quality. The seawaterdolomitization did not significantly enhance the porosity, while the burial dolomitization contributes toenhancing the preserved secondary porosity. Stylolites microfractures and dissolution seams associatedwith dolomitization played as major factors in porosity enhancement of the dolostones and dolomiticlimestones and serving as pathways for hydrocarbon migration. This paper reflects the execution of a reliable technique which we proposed as a new method called the double auxiliary equations method for constructing new traveling wave solutions of nonlinear fractional differential *** proposed scheme has been successfully applied on two very important evolution equations,the space-time fractional differential equation governing wave propagation in low-pass electrical transmission lines equation and the time fractional Burger’s *** obtained results show that the proposed method is more powerful,promising and convenient for solving nonlinear fractional differential equations(NFPDEs).To our knowledge,the solutions obtained by the proposed method have not been reported in former literature.

A rapid, sensitive and simple chromogenic method was developed for quantitative determination of monosodium glutamate(MSG) in food samples. The method incorporated a glutamate oxidase and peroxidase. The librated H 2 O 2 from a glutamate sample as a result of enzymatic action was measured using 4-aminoantipyrine and phenol as a chromogenic reagent at 502 nm. Glutamate calibration curve was linear up to 125 mmol L-1 with a detection limit of 2 mmol L-1. The results of analyzing L-glutamate in various food samples using the approach were compared to those of a standard procedure employing HPLC method. MSG concentration in different samples ranged from 0.93 to 4.9 g/kg. This method is relatively sensitive and specifi c, without the need of pre-treatment for sample. Fig 5, Tab 1, Ref
