Both the Siberian Crane(Leucogeranus leucogeranus) and Hooded Crane(Grus monacha) have limited population sizes and are considered endangered by domestic Chinese and international *** document the current size of their respective populations and characterize their groups,between October 2012 and April 2013 we undertook fieldwork at four nature reserve areas within the Poyang Lake *** divided Poyanghu National Nature Reserve(PYH) into the Wucheng(PWC) and Hengfeng areas(PHF),because each are each located in different *** fieldwork showed that the Siberian Crane occurred mainly in PYH(364 in the PHF,158 in the PWC) and the Nanjishan Wetland National Nature Reserve(NJS,with 200 individuals).The Hooded Crane was mainly distributed in PYH(302 in the PHF and 154 in the PWC).Family groups accounted for more than 50% of the total number of groups among both species,with Hooded Cranes forming more family groups than Siberian ***,these groups were formed of two adults with one offspring(Siberian Crane),and two adults with two offspring(Hooded Crane),with the mean family group size of the Siberian Crane and Hooded Crane being respectively 2.65±0.53(n=43) and 3.09±0.86(n=47) individuals per *** mean collective group size of the Siberian Crane and Hooded Crane included 28.09±24.94(n=23) and 28.94±27.97(n=16) individuals per group,respectively,with the proportion of juveniles among Hooded Cranes being more than double that seen among the Siberian Cranes.

Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell(BMSC)osteogenic differentiation and osteoblast function play critical roles in bone formation,which is a highly regulated *** noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)perform diverse functions in a variety of biological processes,including BMSC osteogenic *** several studies have reported that HOX transcript antisense RNA(HOTAIR)is involved in BMSC osteogenic differentiation,its effect on bone formation in vivo remains ***,by constructing transgenic mice with BMSC(Prx1-HOTAIR)-and osteoblast(Bglap-HOTAIR)-specific overexpression of HOTAIR,we found that Prx1-HOTAIR and Bglap-HOTAIR transgenic mice show different bone phenotypes in ***,Prx1-HOTAIR mice showed delayed bone formation,while Bglap-HOTAIR mice showed increased bone *** inhibits BMSC osteogenic differentiation but promotes osteoblast function in ***,we identified that HOTAIR is mainly located in the nucleus of BMSCs and in the cytoplasm of *** displays a nucleocytoplasmic translocation pattern during BMSC osteogenic *** first identified that the RNA-binding protein human antigen R(HuR)is responsible for HOTAIR nucleocytoplasmic *** is essential for osteoblast function,and cytoplasmic HOTAIR binds to miR-214 and acts as a ceRNA to increase Atf4 protein levels and osteoblast *** mice,but not Prx1-HOTAIR mice,showed alleviation of bone loss induced by *** study reveals the importance of temporal and spatial regulation of HOTAIR in BMSC osteogenic differentiation and bone formation,which provides new insights into precise regulation as a target for bone loss.

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria （PGPR） are considered to be the most promising agents for cash crop production via increasing crop yields and decreasing disease occurrence. The Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain W19 can produce secondary metabolites （iturin and bacillomycin D） effectively against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense （FOC）. In this study, the ability of a bio-organic fertilizer （BIO） containing strain W19 to promote plant growth and suppress the Fusarium wilt of banana was evaluated in both pot and field experiments. The results showed that application of BIO significantly promoted the growth and fruit yield of banana while suppressing the banana Fusariurn wilt disease. To further determine the beneficial mechanisms of the strain, the colonization of green fluorescent protein-tagged strain W19 on banana roots was observed using confocal laser scanning microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The effect of banana root exudates on the formation of biofilm of strain W19 indicated that the banana root exudates may enhance colonization. In addition, the strain W19 was able to produce indole-3-acetic acid （IAA）, a plant growth-promoting hormone. The results of these experiments revealed that the application of strain W19-enriched BIO improved the banana root colonization of strain W19 and growth of banana and suppressed the Fusarium wilt. The PGPR strain W19 can be a useful biocontrol agent for the production of banana under field conditions.

Objective:To study the detailed pharmacognostic profile of galls of Quercus infectoria Olivier(*** olivier)(Fagaceae),an important medicinal plant used in the Indian system of ***:Samples of galls of *** were studied by macroscopical,microscopical,physiochemical,*** analysis and othjer methods for standardization as recommended by ***:Macroscopically,the crude drug is globose with horny appearances on external surface(1.4-2.3 cm in length and 1-1.5 cm in diameter),with greyish-brown to brownish-black in colour externally and dark brown buff *** is smooth with numerous horny protuberances giving rough touch,and witfi unpleasant ***,a wide zone of radially elongated parenchyma cells between upper and lower epidermis were *** vascular strands were present at all places and radially elongated sclerides touched the lower *** physico-chemical studies,the moisture,total ash,acid insoluble ash,alcohol soluble,water soluble,petroleum ether,chloroform extractive value and tannin content were found to be 2.790,5.020,0.110,38.780,41.210,0.402,1.590 and 49.200 percentage *** phytochemical screening showed the presence of phenols,flavonoids,steroids,triterpenes,tannins,saponins and ***:The results of the present study serve as a valuable source of information and provide suitable standards for identification of this medicinally important plant drug material for future investigations and applications.

Abiotic stress tolerance has been weakened during the domestication of all major staple *** salinity is a major environmental constraint that impacts over half of the world population;however,given the increasing reliance on irrigation and the lack of availab.e freshwater,agriculture in the 21st century will increasingly become ***,global food security is critically dependent on the ability of plant breeders to create high-yielding staple crop varieties that will incorporate salinity tolerance traits and ac-count for future climate ***,we have argued that the current agricultural practices and reliance on crops that exclude salt from uptake is counterproductive and environmentally unsustainable,and thus called for a need for a major shift in a breeding paradigm to incorporate some halophytic traits that were present in wild relatives but were lost in modern crops during *** this review,we provide a comprehensive physiological and molecular analysis of the key traits conferring crop halophy-tism,such as vacuolar Na+sequestration,ROS desensitization,succulence,metabolic photosynthetic switch,and salt deposition in trichomes,and discuss the strategies for incorporating them into elite germ-plasm,to address a pressing issue of boosting plant salinity tolerance.

Flatness pattern recognition is the key of the flatness control. The accuracy of the present flatness pattern recognition is limited and the shape defects cannot be reflected intuitively. In order to improve it, a novel method via T-S cloud inference network optimized by genetic algorithm(GA) is proposed. T-S cloud inference network is constructed with T-S fuzzy neural network and the cloud model. So, the rapid of fuzzy logic and the uncertainty of cloud model for processing data are both taken into account. What's more, GA possesses good parallel design structure and global optimization characteristics. Compared with the simulation recognition results of traditional BP Algorithm, GA is more accurate and effective. Moreover, virtual reality technology is introduced into the field of shape control by lab.VIEW, MATlab.mixed programming. And virtual flatness pattern recognition interface is ***, the data of engineering analysis and the actual model are combined with each other, and the shape defects could be seen more lively and intuitively.

Salvia miltiorrhiza is a model medicinal plant with significant economic and medicinal *** roots produce a group of diterpenoid lipophilic bioactive components,termed *** and regulation of tanshinones has attracted widespread ***,the methylome of *** has not been analysed and the regulatory mechanism of DNA methylation in tanshinone production is largely *** we report single-base resolution DNA methylomes from roots and *** analysis revealed differential methylation patterns for CG,CHG,and CHH contexts and the association between DNA methylation and the expression of genes and small *** methylated genes always had higher expression levels and 24-nucleotide sRNAs could be key players in the RdDM pathway in *** methylation variation analysis showed that CHH methylation contributed mostly to the *** enrichment analysis showed that diterpenoid biosynthetic process was significantly enriched for genes with downstream overlapping with hypoCHHDMR in July_root when comparing with those in March_*** biosynthesis-related enzyme genes,such as DXS2,CMK,IDI1,HMGR2,DXR,MDS,CYP76AH1,2OGD25,and CYP71D373,were less CHH methylated in gene promoters or downstream regions in roots collected in July than those collected in ***,gene expression was up-regulated in *** roots collected in July compared with March and the treatment of DNA methylation inhibitor 5-azacytidine significantly promoted tanshinone *** suggests that DNA methylation plays a significant regulatory role in tanshinone biosynthesis in *** through changing the levels of CHH methylation in promoters or downstreams of key enzyme genes.

According to the chloride corrosion environment,service life prediction model of concrete structure of sea-crossing bridge was built using modified Fick's second law and the whole probability calculation method,which was suitable for China. Furthermore,a visual service life prediction program of concrete structure was developed by optimized Monte Carlo method. Meanwhile,Life 365 program was compared,indicating reliability of the prediction program. Finally,the validity of prediction model was verified in JinTang Bridge of Zhoushan Island Mainland Linkage Project.

We simultaneously compare the probe transmission,Four-Wave Mixing(FWM)and fluorescence signals with dressing effects in a four-level atomic *** variation rules of three types of signals are exhibited by changing the frequency detuning and power of incident laser *** interplay between two ladder subsystems is investigated in the Y-type atomic *** particular,the fluorescence signal with ultra-narrow linewidth is obtained due to being sheared twice by the electromagnetically induced transparency *** fluorescence with very high coherence and monochromaticity can be used for the quantum correlation and narrow linewidth laser.
