Peer Effects of Internet business Models:Strategic Drive or Conceptual Catering?

In recent years,the internet business model has become a popular concept,and has been adopted by an increasing number of traditional ***,the question remains whether this adoption is a strategy-driven decision or a blind follow of ***,this study is conducted on Chinese listed companies from 2007 to 2020 to examine the existence,underlying motives,and economic consequences of peer effects in traditional enterprises adopting internet business *** results show significant peer effects among traditional enterprises adopting internet business *** examination of driving mechanisms reveals that peer effects of internet business models are more significant in enterprises with asset-light structures,higher degrees of virtualization,lower market valuations,and greater financing pressure,supporting the conceptual catering hypothesis rather than the strategic drive *** tests reveal that while adopting internet business models enables enterprises to receive some government subsidy and market reaction in the short term,it only promotes tactical innovation rather than real innovation and does not improve the financial performance of these *** further indicates that peer effects of internet business models are not a strategic drive but rather a matter of conceptual catering.

This paper investigates region tracking and perimeter surveillance of second-order multi-agent systems, where all agents move within a star-shaped set. First, by coordination transformations,the region tracking problem is converted from the star-shaped sets to a circular region. The authors employ communication and collaboration to complete region tracking and perimeter surveillance tasks,and then revert back to the star-shaped set by using inverse transformations. Second, the authors propose a distributed control strategy based on attractive and interaction potential functions, under which all agents can quickly track a given circular region and move around the perimeter. Finally,the authors validate the effectiveness and performance advantages of the proposed method through simulation experiments.

This study uses a sample of A-share listed companies to investigate the impact of China's Data Basic Institutional System on capital market reactions and the mechanism by which it exerts *** findings reveal that within a 5-day period before and after the policy announcement,listed companies with high data resources experience a significantly higher abnormal return compared to those with low data ***,this difference becomes more pronounced as enterprise technology intensity ***,the policy enhances the capital market's perception of the value of data resources and its potential for generating multiplier *** tests confirm that post-implementation of the policy,the capital market reevaluates the long-term value of enterprises associated with data *** comprehensive examination contributes empirical evidence to support academic research,inform policy formulation,and guide strategic planning in relevantindustries.

Dominant technology formation is the key for the hightech industry to“cross the chasm”and gain an established foothold in the market(and hence disrupt the regime).Therefore,a stimulus-response model is proposed to investigate the dominant technology by exploring its formation process and ***,based on complex adaptive system theory and the basic stimulus-response model,we use a combination of agent-based modeling and system dynamics modeling to capture the interactions between dominant technology and the socio-technical *** results indicate the following:(i)The dynamic interaction is“stimulus-reaction-selection”,which promotes the dominant technology’s formation.(ii)The dominant technology’s formation can be described as a dynamic process in which the adaptation intensity of technology standards increases continuously until it becomes the leading technology under the dual action of internal and external mechanisms.(iii)The dominant technology’s formation in the high-tech industry is influenced by learning ability,the number of adopting users and ***,a“critical scale”of learning ability exists to promote the formation of leading technology:a large number of adopting users can promote the dominant technology’s formation by influencing the adaptive response of technology standards to the socio-technical landscape and the choice of technology standards by the socio-technical *** is a minimum threshold and a maximum threshold for the role of adaptability in the dominant technology’s formation.(iv)The socio-technical landscape can promote the leading technology’s shaping in the high-tech industry,and different elements have different *** study promotes research on the formation mechanism of dominant technology in the high-tech industry,presents new perspectives and methods for researchers,and provides essential enlightenment for managers to formulate technology strategies.

The low efficiency and high cost of fresh agricultural product terminal distribution directly restrict the operation of the entire supply *** reduce costs and optimize the distribution network,we construct a mixed integer programmingmodel that comprehensively considers tominimize fixed,transportation,fresh-keeping,time,carbon emissions,and performance incentive *** analyzed the performance of traditional rider distribution and robot distribution modes in *** addition,the uncertainty of the actual market demand poses a huge threat to the stability of the terminal distribution *** order to resist uncertain interference,we further extend the model to a robust counterpart *** results of the simulation show that the instability of random parameters will lead to an increase in the *** with the traditional rider distribution mode,the robot distribution mode can save 12.7%on logistics costs,and the distribution efficiency is *** research can provide support for the design of planning schemes for transportation enterprise managers.

Background:Though the COVID-19 pandemic recedes,and our society gradually returns to normal,Chinese people’s work and lifestyles are still influenced by the“pandemic aftermath”.In the post-pandemic era,employees may feel uncertainty at work due to the changed organizational operations and management and perceive the external environment to be more *** these perceptions may increase employees’negative emotions and contribute to conflicts between work and *** from the ego depletion theory,this study aimed to examine the impact of job insecurity during the post-pandemic era on employees’work-life conflicts,and the mediating effect of workplace anxiety in this ***,this study also considered the uncertainty of the external macro environment as a boundary condition on the direct and indirect relationship between job insecurity and work-life ***:A two-wave questionnaire survey was conducted from October to December 2023 to collect *** students and graduates from business school with full-time jobs are invited to report their perception of job insecurity,work anxiety,perceived environment uncertainty,and work-life *** resulted in 253 valid *** analysis was performed using the SPSS,Amos,and ***:The results showed that:(1)Employees’job insecurity would directly intensify the work-life conflict(B=0.275,p<0.001,95%CI[0.182,0.367]).(2)Employees’workplace anxiety mediates the relationship between job insecurity and work-life conflict(B=0.083,p<0.001,95%CI[0.047,0.130]).(3)The mediating effect of workplace anxiety between job insecurity and work-life conflict exists when perceived environmental uncertainty is high(B=0.049,95%CI[0.011,0.114]),while vanishes when perceived environmental uncertainty is low(B=0.024,95%CI[−0.005,0.068]).Conclusion:Job insecurity combined with perceived environmental uncertainty in the postpandemic era fuels employees’workplace anxiety and work-life ***-pan

In recent years,there has been a growing interest in graph convolutional networks(GCN).However,existing GCN and variants are predominantly based on simple graph or hypergraph structures,which restricts their ability to handle complex data correlations in practical *** limitations stem from the difficulty in establishing multiple hierarchies and acquiring adaptive weights for each of *** address this issue,this paper introduces the latest concept of complex hypergraphs and constructs a versatile high-order multi-level data correlation *** model is realized by establishing a three-tier structure of ***,we start by establishing hyperedge clusters on a foundational network,utilizing a second-order hypergraph structure to depict potential *** this second-order structure,truncation methods are used to assess and generate a three-layer composite *** the construction of the composite structure,an adaptive learning strategy is implemented to merge correlations across different *** evaluate this model on several popular datasets and compare it with recent state-of-the-art *** comprehensive assessment results demonstrate that the proposed model surpasses the existing methods,particularly in modeling implicit data correlations(the classification accuracy of nodes on five public datasets Cora,Citeseer,Pubmed,Github Web ML,and Facebook are 86.1±0.33,79.2±0.35,83.1±0.46,83.8±0.23,and 80.1±0.37,respectively).This indicates that our approach possesses advantages in handling datasets with implicit multi-level structures.

For the functional partially linear models including flexible nonparametric part and functional linear part,the estimators of the nonlinear function and the slope function have been studied in existing *** to test the correlation between response and explanatory variables,however,still seems to be ***,a test procedure for testing the linearity in the functional partially linear models will be proposed in this paper.A test statistic is constructed based on the existing estimators of the nonlinear and the slope ***,we prove that the approximately asymptotic distribution of the proposed statistic is a chi-squared distribution under some regularity ***,some simulation studies and a real data application are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed test statistic.
