Abstract：Objective:To introduce a new animal model of graded mechanical primary brainstem injury (BSI).Methods:Altogether 45 rabbits were subjected to BSI by type Ⅱ biological impact machine designed by the Third Military Medical University.The animals were divided into 4 experimental groups (n=10) and 1 control group (n=5) according to different magnitudes of impact pressure imposed on the occipital nodule:Group 1,500-520 kPa; Group 2,520-540 kPa; Group 3,540-560 kPa; Group 4,560-580 kPa and Group 5,0 kPa with 20 kPa increase in each grade.The impact depth was a constant 0.5 cm.After injury,the clinical symptoms and signs as well as pathological changes were observed.Results:Rabbits in Group 1 revealed mild physiological reaction of BSI.They had localized cerebral contusion with punctate hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) was limited to the peripheral tissues at the impact area.In Group 2,obvious physiological reaction was observed.Local pathological lesions reached the superficial layer ofbrainstem tissues; focal hemorrhage and girdleshaped SAH in basilar pon were observed under microscope.In Group 3,BSI was more severe with a long respiratory depression.Pathological lesions reached the inner portion of brainstem with massive hemorrhage and the whole brainstem was wrapped by subarachnoid hematoma.In Group 4,most rabbits died due to severe BSI.Pathological lesions deepened to the central brainstem with wide pathological change,rapture of the medulla oblongata central canal.Group 5 was the control group,with normal brainstem structure and no lesion observed.Conclusion:This model successfully simulates different levels ofbrainstem mechanical injury and clearly shows the subsequent pathological changes following injury.It takes two external parameters (impact pressure and depth) and has a similar injury mechanism to clinical accelerating BSI.Moreover it is reproducible and stable,thus being beneficial for exploring pathophysiological mechanism,diagnosis and forensic identification of various degrees of BS

"High-risk"autopsies are those in which the anatomical examination of a corpse entails a substantial risk of contracting a serious infectious disease.Herein,we discuss the risks of infection associated with high-risk autopsies and factors pertaining to risk identification in high-risk autopsies,and we suggest potentially preventative measures focused on anatomy room protection and virtual imaging.

Half-sibling(HS)kinship testing is more difficult and complicated.This article describes a case where we sought to establish if three children with different mothers(one boy and two girls),shared a common father.The three children and their mother,as well as the suspected father’s elder brother took part in the identification.To investigate the application of multiple genetic markers in HS kinship testing,autosomal STR,Y-STR,and X-STR was performed on blood samples from the individuals of interest C1(female),M1(mother of C1),C2(male),M2(mother of C2),C3(female),M3(mother of C3),and UC(elder brother of the suspected biological father).The 24 Y-STR haplotypes of C2 and UC were identical,confirming that they come from the same paternal line.Among the 27 X-STRs tested in C1 and C3,18 of them had different paternal alleles,so C1 and C3 were excluded as half-sibling kinship.39 autosomal STR were calculated by ITO method,the HSI(or AI)of the pairs C1-C3,C2-C3,and C3-UC are1,which may supports HS kinship between C1 and C2 and avuncular kinship between C1 and UC,and between C2 and UC.15 autosomal STR were calculated by discriminant function,DHS3>DR3 between C1 and C2,and thus they could be HS.DHS3

This review summarizes the mode of application of virtual anatomy technology in the construction of a police system.Local public security organizations have explored the application modes of virtual anatomy construction,such as the multiparty co-construction mode,cooperation mode,and individual construction mode,and reviewed(l)the understanding of public security and application process of virtual anatomy;(2)the problems faced in the construction and application processes,such as those associated with support ofhuman resources,equipment supplies and financial expenditure,the limitations of the technology itself legal issues with application,shrinkage of the identification business,and appraiser-related problems;and(3)the prospect of application of virtopsy in public security systems.

The role of computed tomography(CT)images in forensic identification has been widely recognized.Such images can provide an important basis for identification of the cause of death in complicated and difficult cases,including falls from a height,drowning,explosion and gunshot cases,traffic accidents,and sudden death.However,few reports have focused on the application of CT images in cases of death caused by sharp object injuries.Therefore,the CT images and autopsy findings were compared in a case of death caused by sharp object injuries to the chest and abdomen,and the importance of CT images in cases of death from common sharp object injuries is herein discussed.

Dear Editor,Due to human’s cohabitation with domesticated animals,molecular analysis of animal DNA is increasingly being admitted as evidence in forensic investigations.In 2011,recommendations from the International Society of Forensic Genetics(ISFG)for non-human DNA analysis in forensic casework were published based on the successful model for human DNA[1].Among domesticated animals,canine DNA is perhaps the most often encountered and investigated in the forensic community[2–5].The US,Brazil and China are the top three countries in regards to ownership of canines.Canine DNA in the form of hair,saliva,blood,urine and feces is abundant in the domestic environment and consequently is often present on evidence collected during forensic investigations.A strong need for identity identification,parentage verification and breed recognition has become apparent within the forensic community.

Taking a 300 MW steam turbine unit as the research object, this optimization uses ANSYS finite element software to simulate the start-up scheme under the standard working condition, then uses ANSYS software to calculate the start-up schemes with different temperature rise rates, extracts the data of the real-time damage value and the time corresponding to the temperature rise rate, and then uses the nonlinear regression method to fit the data the real-time damage value and time ti are combined into a nonlinear equation, which is brought into our model, and then the optimal ti value, that is, the optimal startup scheme, is calculated by genetic algorithm. Finally, the stress value of the most effective start-up scheme is analyzed. Under the premise of ensuring the safe operation of the unit, the total start-up time is shortened by 34.83 min, the efficiency is improved, and the economic type of the unit start-up process is also improved.

In this paper, a 300 MW steam turbine unit is taken as the research object. After analyzing the starting process of the steam turbine unit under the original working condition, a fast optimization method of temperature rise rate is proposed. Firstly, a nonlinear mathematical model with constraint conditions is established for the start-up conditions of the steam turbine unit. Then, through the analysis of the start-up conditions under the original working conditions, the thermal stress value of the rotor under the original working conditions is analyzed, the curve of the thermal stress value is fitted, the initial value of the optimization method of the temperature rise rate is determined, and the optimization method of temperature rise rate designed in this paper is used to calculate the temperature rise rate, and two are finally determined.The most reasonable temperature rise rate optimization scheme is selected by considering the value of shortening time and effective stress. The final optimization scheme of temperature rise rate in this paper reduces the total start-up time by55 minutes and the start-up efficiency is nearly 9.2%, which greatly improves the efficiency and economy of the start-up process.

目的：研究新疆维吾尔族人群19个X染色体短串联重复序列（X-STR）基因座和他们组成的7组连锁基因座的单倍型多样性,评价19个X-STR新组合位点的多态信息量和累积个体识别力。为群体遗传学和法医学的应用基础研究提供数据支持;并比较维吾尔族和11个民族在共有的X-STR基因座的遗传学差异。创新点：首次应用一个新的复合扩增检测体系,研究19个X-STR基因座新的组合（DXS8378、DXS7423、DXS10148、DXS10159、DXS10134、DXS7424、DXS10164、DXS10162、DXS7132、DXS10079、DXS6789、DXS101、DXS10103、DXS10101、HPRTB、DXS6809、DXS10075、DXS10074和DXS10135）在新疆维吾尔族的遗传多态性。方法：从233个新疆维吾尔族无关、健康个体的血痕中提取基因组DNA。应用一个新的复合扩增体系,同时对19个X-STR基因座进行扩增,用毛细管电泳进行基因扫描和分型。系统分析和评价这些X-STR基因座常用的各种法医学参数及应用价值;并对7组连锁的基因座组成的单倍型进行分析。基于分子方差分析的方法对新疆维吾尔族和其他11个民族共有的X-STR基因座进行比较研究,探寻这些群体在等位基因频率分布上的差异。结论：研究19个X-STR基因座共发现238个等位基因,相应的基因频率分布在0.0021~0.5644;女性累积个体识别力为0.999 999 999 999 999 999 998 091,男性为0.999 999 999 999 966,累积非父排除率为0.999 999 986 35。分子方差分析的结果显示新疆维吾尔族人群与格陵兰和索马里人群差异最大,有8个基因座存在差异;与马来西亚和关中汉族人群差异最小,仅3个基因座存在差异。结果表明：这19个X-STR基因座多态性高、且具有较高的累积个体识别力,可很好地应用于法医学及群体遗传学研究,也为新疆维吾尔族人群的遗传背景的研究提供基础资料。
