Microfluidic synthesis of hollow CsPbBr_(3) perovskite nanocrystals through the nanoscale Kirkendall effect

All inorganic metal halide perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)have attracted much attention for their outstanding optoelectronic properties,which can be tuned by the composition,surface,size and morphology in ***,we report the microfluidic synthesis of hollow CsPbBr_(3)perovskite NCs through the nanoscale Kirkendall *** formation mechanism of the hollow structure(Kirkendall void)controlled by the temperature,flow rate,ratios of precursors and ligands was *** with the solid CsPbBr_(3)NCs of the same size,the hollow CsPbBr_(3)NCs exhibit blue shifts in ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)absorption and photoluminescence(PL)spectra,and remarkably longer PL average lifetime(~98.2 ns).Quantum confinement effect,inner surface induced additional trap states and lattice strain of the hollow CsPbBr_(3)NCs were discussed in understanding their unique optoelectronic *** hollow CsPbBr_(3)NC based photodetector exhibits an outstanding negative photoconductivity(NPC)detectivity of 8.9×10^(12)*** also show potentials in perovskite NC based photovoltaic and light emitting diodes(LEDs).

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Complex [Pb(qina)_2(DMSO)]·H_2O

A novel complex [Pb（qina）2（DMSO）]·H2O was synthesized, of which qinais the quinaldic acid radical and DMSO the dimethyl sulfoxide. Elemental analysis, IR spectra, and X-ray single-crystal diffraction were carried out to determine the composition and crystal structure. This complex belongs to monoclinic system, space group P121/n1, with a = 7.1553（17）, b = 17.543（2）, c = 17.306（2） A, β = 91.671（4）°, C22H20N206PbS, Mr = 647.65, Z = 4, V= 2171.5（6） A3, Dc= 1.981 g/cm^3, μ= 7.908 mm^-1, F（000） = 1248, -9≤h≤6, -23≤k≤19, -22≤1≤22, R= 0.0221 and wR= 0.0488. Weak coordinate bond is formed between oxygen atom in DMSO and Pb（ Ⅱ ）. There are also weak interactions, such as π-π interaction, hydrogen bonds and so on, among the complex molecules.

Aminolysis reaction of calix [ 4 ] arene esters and crystal structures and conformational behaviors of calix[4]arene amides

We first make use of aminolysis of calix[4]arene esters to synthesize calix[4]arene amides. When the two ethyl esters of the calix[4]arene esters are aminolysized, the 1, 3-amide derivative is formed selectively. The crystal structures of the calix-[4] arene with two butyl amide (3b) and four butyl amide moieties (4b) were determined. The intermolecular hydrogen bonds make 4b form two-dimensional net work insolid state. The 1H NMR spectra prove mat 3b is of a pinched cone conformation, while 4b and tetraheptylamide-calix[4]arene (6b) take fast interconversion between two C2r isomers in solution and appear an apparent cone conformation at room temperature. As decreasing temperature, the interconversion rate decreases gradually and, finally, the interconversion process is frozen at Tc = ?10°C, which makes both conformations of 4b and 6b the pinched cone structures. The hydrogen bond improves the interconversion barrier, and the large different values of the potential barrier between 6b and 4b (or 6b) may be of forming different hydrogen bonds.

Metal compound-mediated hydrolytic cleavage of oxidized insulin B chain:Regioselectivity and influence of peptide secondary structure

The interaction of oxidized insulin B chain (B) with cis-[Pd(en)Cl2] (en=ethylenediamine), cis-[Pd-(dtco-3-OH)Cl2] (dtco-3-OH= dithiacyclooctan-3-ol) and CuCl2 was studied by electrospray mass spectrometry. It is discovered that the binding of Pd(II) complexes and the sites of cleavage are highly dependent on the secondary structure and local environment of B. The hydrolytic cleavage of denatured B by Pd(II) complexes was monitored by HPLC. The reaction is regioselective and follows first order kinetics with half-life of 4.8 days at 40oC. Two amide bonds, i. e. at Leu6-Cys7 and at Gly8-Ser9, which are dose to the two potential Pd(II) binding sites His5 and His10, are selectively cleaved. In the case of Cu(II) ion as promoter, only one cleavage site was observed which is located at Gly8-Ser9 bond. These results provide improved understanding on the design of artificial metallopeptidase.

Boosting synergism of chemo- and immunotherapies via switching paclitaxel-induced apoptosis to mevalonate metabolism-triggered ferroptosis by bisphosphonate coordination lipid nanogranules

Conventional chemotherapy based on cytotoxic drugs is facing tough challenges recently following the advances of monoclonal antibodies and molecularly targeted *** is critical to inspire new potential to remodel the value of this classical therapeutic ***,we fabricate bisphosphonate coordination lipid nanogranules(BC-LNPs)and load paclitaxel(PTX)to boost the chemo-and immuno-therapeutic synergism of cytotoxic *** in BC-LNPs@PTX,a bisphosphonate to block mevalonate metabolism,works as both the structure and drug constituent in nanogranules,where alendronate coordinated with calcium ions to form the particle *** synergy of alendronate enhances the efficacy of paclitaxel,suppresses tumor metastasis,and alters the cytotoxic *** from the paclitaxel-induced apoptosis,the involvement of alendronate inhibits the mevalonate metabolism,changes the mitochondrial morphology,disturbs the redox homeostasis,and causes theaccumulation of mitochondrial ROS and lethal lipid peroxides(LPO).These factors finally trigger the ferroptosis of tumor cells,an immunogenic cell death mode,which remodels the suppressive tumor immune microenvironment and synergizes with ***,by switching paclitaxel-induced apoptosis to mevalonate metabolism-triggered ferroptosis,BC-LNPs@PTX provides new insight into the development of cytotoxic drugs and highlights the potential of metabolism regulation in cancer therapy.

Pd-based metallic nanosheets with advanced physicochemical properties have been widely prepared and employed in various electrocatalytic ***,few concerns were focused on their multiple performances in different ***,highly curved and ultrathin PdNiRu nanosheets(NSs)are developed by facile wet-chemistry strategy and exhibit excellent electrocatalytic performance toward both oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and ethylene glycol oxidation reaction(EGOR).Owing to the synergistically structural(e.g.,ultrathin,curved,defects/steps-rich)and compositional(ternary alloy)advantages,PdNiRu NSs exhibited enhanced ORR and EGOR specific/mass activities and better stability/durability than control *** specific activity(5.52 mA·cm^(−2))and mass activity(1.13 A·mg_(Pd)^(−1))of the PdNiRu NSs in ORR are 4.8 and 3.4 times as the ones of commercial Pt/C,*** mass activity of PdNiRu NSs(3.86 A·mg_(Pd)^(−1))in EGOR is 2.6 times as commercial Pd/C(1.51 A·mg_(Pd)^(−1)).This study is helpful for the development of desired electrocatalysts with multi-functional application in practical fuel cells.

One-dimensional metal phosphonates based on 6-phosphononicotinic acid:A structural and magnetic study

The reactions of 6-phosphononicotinic acid (pnaH3) and metal salts result in three new compounds, namely, M(pnaH)-(H2O)3·H2O [M = Co(Ⅱ) (1), Ni(Ⅱ) (2), Zn(Ⅱ) (3)]. These compounds are isostructural and contain 21 helical chains made up of corner-sharing {MO5N} octahedra and {PO3C} tetrahedra. The chains are further connected by extensive hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. Magnetic studies reveal that dominant antiferromagnetic interactions are mediated in both 1 and 2. Interestingly the dehydrated compound 1 shows metamagnetic behavior at low temperature.

The title complex [Cr2（8-hqn）2Cl4（H2O）2]·2（CH3）2CO （8-hqn = 8-hydroxyoxyquinolate） has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P^-1 with a = 8.719（1）, b = 9.226（1）, c = 9.717（1） A^°, α = 71.916（2）, β= 78.072（2）, γ = 76.014（2）°, V= 713.72（15） A^°^3, Z= 1, Dc= 1.597g/cm^3, F（000） = 350 and μ（MoKa） = 1.177 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0490 and wR = 0.1055 for 1616 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. It is a dimer constructed by two monomeric units [Cr（8-hqn）Cl2（H2O）] bridged by phenoxide-like oxygen atom from 8-hydroxyoxyquinolate, where the two six-coordinated Cr（Ⅲ）atoms exhibit an octahedral coordination geometry.

Structure and electrospray mass spectrometry studies on dithiacyclooctan-3-ol-containing palladium (II) complex of trans -[Pd(dtco-3-OH)_2](ClO_4)_2·2DMSO

The structure of trans-[Pd(dtco-3-OH)2] (ClO4)2·2DMSO, in which dtco-3-OH is dithiacyclooctan-3-ol and DMSO is dimethyl sulfoxide, was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The crystal data: space group pi, a = 0.7077(2) nm, b = 1.0788(1) nm, c = 1.1111(1) nm, α=67.710(8)°, β = 73. 59(2)°, γ = 85. 39(2)°,R1 = 0 . 0368 and Rw = 0.0998. The palladium (II) is coordinated by four sulfur atoms with a regular square planar configuration. The Pd-S distances are 0.2314(1) and 0.2317(1) nm, respectively. Both dtco-3-OH ligands are in the boat-chair configuration and two hydroxyl groups are on the opposite sites of the PdS4 coordination plane and are towards Pd(II). The Pd-O distance is 0. 285 nm, indicating a weak interaction between them. A typical hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl group of dtco-3-OH ligand and DMSO was observed in the crystal structure. An aqueous solution prepared with the crystals of the complex was used for the investigation of electrospray mass spectrometry ( ESMS ). Besides trans -[ Pd ( dtco-3-OH)2]2+. 2DMSO observed, in the full scan spectrum of ESMS, all relative species of it, which were probably produced during electrospray ionization process, were also detected. From these experiments, it reveals that ESMS is a powerful tool for studying noncovalent interaction present in solution between inorganic complexes and solvents.
