Using THz emission spectroscopy,we investigate the elementary spin dynamics in ferromagnetic single-layer Fe on a sub-picosecond *** demonstrate that THz radiation changes its polarity with reversal of the magnetization applied by the external magnetic *** addition,it is found that the sign of THz polarity excited from different sides is defined by the thickness of the Fe layer and Fe/dielectric *** on the thickness and symmetry dependences of THz emission,we experimentally distinguish between the two major contributions:ultrafast demagnetization and the anomalous Hall *** experimental results not only enrich understanding of THz electromagnetic generation induced by femtosecond laser pulses but also provide a practical way to access laser-induced ultrafast spin dynamics in magnetic structures.

The research proposal has the following scope. In relation to the general objective, the aim is to model the evolution of the climate crisis over time taking as variables global warming, greenhouse gases, atmospheric temperature and ocean temperature, as well as the continuity of the natural phenomena in terms of their measurement, temporality and projection. To achieve the above, the description of the following specific objectives is proposed: - Identify the variables corresponding to the climate crisis, their relationship and correlation between them;- Develop projection models with mathematical and statistical arrangements to project them in a given time and, in this way, - Propose mitigation measures for different unfavorable scenarios. The main variables that are currently directly linked to Climate Change are: CO2, the atmospheric index, precipitation, temperature and wind speed. The correlation that exists between climatic elements is very high, both in historical behavior and projected behavior for 2035, their correlation is estimated at 0.90, 0.95, 0.93 and 91 respectively. The mathematical models used to manipulate the historical and projected analysis of the variables studied: are the normal arrangements, this ensures that the values can be used on a common scale;Then there is the analysis of the historical variables using the linear trend, and finally there is the analysis of the variables projected to the year 2035 using the polynomial trend. In both situations, the direct relationship of greenhouse gases, mainly CO2, is directly related to the variations of the variables over time, which is a very worrying result because we can no longer talk about climate change, but rather about CLIMATE CRISIS. To a large extent, a change in the paradigm of exploitation of the resources of our mother earth is required. Dry-hot wind stress causes losses in wheat productivity in major growing regions worldwide,especially winter wheat in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain of China,and both the occurrence and severity of such events are likely to increase with global climate *** investigate the recovery of physiological functions and yield formation using a new noncommercial chemical regulator(NCR)following dry-hot wind stress,we conducted a three-year field experiment(2018-2021)with sprayed treatments of tap water(control),monopotassium phosphate(CKP),NCR at both the jointing and flowering stages(CFS),and NCR only at the jointing stage(FSJ)or flowering stage(FSF).The leaf physiology,biomass accumulation and translocation,grain-filling process,and yield components in winter wheat were *** the single spraying treatments,the FSJ treatment was beneficial for the accumulation of dry matter before anthesis,as well as larger increases in the maximum grain-filling rate and mean grain-filling *** FSF treatment performed better in maintaining a high relative chlorophyll content as indicated by the SPAD value,and a low rate of excised leaf water loss in flag leaves,promoting dry matter accumulation and the contribution to grain after anthesis,prolonging the duration of grain filling,and causing the period until the maximum grain-filling rate reached *** CFS treatment was better than any other treatments in relieving the effects of dry-hot *** exogenous NCR treatments significantly increased grain yields by 12.45-18.20% in 2018-2019,8.89-13.82% in 2019-2020,and 8.10-9.00% in *** conventional measure of the CKP treatment only increased grain yield by 6.69% in *** CFS treatment had the greatest mitigating effect on yield loss under dry-hot wind stress,followed by the FSF and FSJ treatments,and the CKP treatment only had a minimal *** summary,the CFS treatment could be used as the main chemical control measure for wheat stress resistance and yield

The sensitivity of biodegradation on diamondoids was investigated using a series of biodegraded oil samples from the Ronier tectonic unit of Bongor Basin,*** results suggest that diamondoids,including adamantanes(As)and diamantanes(Ds),are relatively resistant to biodegradation and obvious biodegradation was observed in oils with a Peters-Moldowan(PM)biodegradation rank of 6 or ***,the sensibility of biodegradation on diamondoids is generally similar to hopanes and regular *** biodegradation evolves,the changes in concentration and components of diamondoids show that the biodegradation process is selective and *** significant increase of MD/MA and DMD/DMA for oils with a PM ranking 6t indicates that diamantanes are generally more resistant to biodegradation than *** similar trends of DMA/MA,EA/MA,MD/D,DMD/MD and other relevant indexes,show that higher alkylation homologs are more resistant to *** commonly used diamondoid ratios,such as MAI,EAI,MDI and DMID-1,are obviously affected by biodegradation at the stage of high-level biodegradation,which may indicate that these ratios should be used with caution in case of severely degraded oils.

Combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer alleviates the kernel position effect in summer maize by promoting post-silking nitrogen uptake and dry matter accumulation

Adjusting agronomic measures to alleviate the kernel position effect in maize is important for ensuring high *** order to clarify whether the combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer(CAOFCF)can alleviate the kernel position effect of summer maize,field experiments were conducted during the 2019 and 2020 growing seasons,and five treatments were assessed:CF,100%chemical fertilizer;OFCF1,15%organic fertilizer+85%chemical fertilizer;OFCF2,30%organic fertilizer+70%chemical fertilizer;OFCF3,45%organic fertilizer+55%chemical fertilizer;and OFCF4,60%organic fertilizer+40%chemical *** with the CF treatment,the OFCF1 and OFCF2 treatments significantly alleviated the kernel position effect by increasing the weight ratio of inferior kernels to superior kernels and reducing the weight gap between the superior and inferior *** effects were largely due to the improved filling and starch accumulation of inferior ***,there were no obvious differences in the kernel position effect among plants treated with CF,OFCF3,or OFCF4 in most *** area indexes,post-silking photosynthetic rates,and net assimilation rates were higher in plants treated with OFCF1 or OFCF2 than in those treated with CF,reflecting an enhanced photosynthetic capacity and improved postsilking dry matter accumulation(DMA)in the plants treated with OFCF1 or *** with the CF treatment,the OFCF1 and OFCF2 treatments increased post-silking N uptake by 66.3 and 75.5%,respectively,which was the major factor driving post-silking photosynthetic capacity and ***,the increases in root DMA and zeatin riboside content observed following the OFCF1 and OFCF2 treatments resulted in reduced root senescence,which is associated with an increased post-silking N *** showed that post-silking N uptake,DMA,and grain yield in summer maize were negatively correlated with the kernel position *** conclusion,the combined application of

Chinese plum(Prunus salicina Lindl.)originates from China and makes a large contribution to the global production of *** ***‘Wushancuili'has a green coloration and high fruit quality and is economically important in eliminating poverty and protecting ecology in the Yangtze River Three Gorges ***,rain-induced cracking(rain-cracking,literally skin cracking caused by rain)is a limitation to‘Wushancuili'fruit production and causes severe *** study reported a high-quality‘Wushancuili'genome assembly consisting of a 302.17-Mb sequence with eight pseudo-chromosomes and a contig N50 of 23.59 Mb through the combination of Illumina sequencing,Pacific Biosciences HiFiⅢsequencing,and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture technology.A total of 25109 protein-coding genes are predicted and 54.17%of the genome is composed of repetitive sequences.‘Wushancuili'underwent a remarkable orthoselection during *** identification revealed that loss-of-function in four core MYB10 genes results in the anthocyanin deficiency and absence of red color,revealing the green coloration due to the residual high chlorophyll in fruit ***,the occurrence of cracking is assumed to be closely associated with cell wall modification and frequently rain-induced pathogen enrichment through transcriptomic *** loss of MYB10 genes might render fruit more susceptible to pathogen-mediated cracking by weakening the epidermal strength and reactive oxygen species(ROS)*** findings provided fundamental knowledge regarding fruit coloration and rain-cracking and will facilitate genetic improvement and cultivation management in Chinese plums.

Nitrogen (N) plays a key role in crop growth and production;however,data are lacking especially regarding the interaction of biochar,grass cover,and irrigation on N leaching in saturated soil *** soil columns with 20-cm diameter and 60-cm height were designed to characterize the effects of different grass cover and biochar combinations,i.e.,bare soil+0%biochar (control,CK),perennial ryegrass+0%biochar (C1),Festuca arundinacea+0%biochar (C2),perennial ryegrass+1%biochar (C3),perennial ryegrass+2%biochar (C4),perennial ryegrass+3%biochar (C5),***+1%biochar (C6),***+2% biochar (C7),and ***+3%biochar (C8),on periodic irrigation infiltration and N leaching in homogeneous loess soils from July to December *** in CK were 10.2%–35.3%higher than those in C1 and *** perennial ryegrass and *** decreased the volumes of leachates and delayed the leaching process in the 1%,2%,and 3%biochar treatments,and the vertical leaching rate decreased with biochar *** N leaching losses were concentrated in the first few leaching tests,and both total N (TN) and nitrate (NO_(3)^(-))-N concentrations in CK and C1–C8 decreased with increasing leaching test *** addition (1%,2%,and 3%) could further reduce the leaching risk of NO_(3)^(-)-N and the NO_(3)^(-)-N loss decreased with biochar ***,compared to 1%biochar,2% biochar promoted the leaching of TN under both grass cover *** N leaching losses in CK,C1,C2,C3,C4,C6,and C7 were primarily in the form of NO_(3)^(-)-*** these treatments,CK,C1,and C2had the highest cumulative leaching fractions NO_(3)^(-)-N (>90%),followed by those in C3,C4,C6,and C7 (>80%).The cumulative leaching fraction of NO_(3)^(-)-N decreased with increasing leaching test times and biochar addition,and 3%biochar addition (i.e.,C5 and C8) reduced it to approximately 50%.The one-dimensional advective-dispersive-reactive transport equation can be used as an effective nume

Earth observation(EO) technologies,such as very high-resolution optical satellite data available from Maxar,can enhance economic consequence modeling of disasters by capturing the fine-grained and real-time behavioral responses of businesses and the *** investigated this unique approach to economic consequence modeling to determine whether crowd-sourced interpretations of EO data can be used to illuminate key economic behavioral responses that could be used for computable general equilibrium modeling of supply chain repercussions and resilience *** applied our methodology to the COVID-19 pandemic experience in Los Angeles County,California as a case *** also proposed a dynamic adjustment approach to account for the changing character of EO through longer-term disasters in the economic modeling *** found that despite limitations,EO data can increase sectoral and temporal resolution,which leads to significant differences from other data sources in terms of direct and total impact *** findings from this analytical approach have important implications for economic consequence modeling of disasters,as well as providing useful information to policymakers and emergency managers,whose goal is to reduce disaster costs and to improve economic resilience.
