Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is a unique health resource in China and one of the main representative traditional medicines globally. TCM has formed a new way of looking at medical practices, health care, scientific research, education, industry and culture. It focuses on promoting and safeguarding the health of people, with an increasing contribution to economic and social development. Establishing a comprehensive evaluation system in accordance with the characteristics of TCM services could promote the scientific merit and the standardization of services management. This would improve health service quality and the social and economic benefits of TCM. It would broaden the field of TCM services research. It would also provide the basis for the formulation of relevant government policies. This study estimates the prospect of establishing a comprehensive evaluation system of TCM services.

Learning modality-fused representations and processing unaligned multimodal sequences are meaningful and challenging in multimodal emotion *** approaches use directional pairwise attention or a message hub to fuse language,visual,and audio ***,these fusion methods are often quadratic in complexity with respect to the modal sequence length,bring redundant information and are not *** this paper,we propose an efficient neural network to learn modality-fused representations with CB-Transformer(LMR-CBT)for multimodal emotion recognition from unaligned multi-modal ***,we first perform feature extraction for the three modalities respectively to obtain the local structure of the ***,we design an innovative asymmetric transformer with cross-modal blocks(CB-Transformer)that enables complementary learning of different modalities,mainly divided into local temporal learning,cross-modal feature fusion and global self-attention *** addition,we splice the fused features with the original features to classify the emotions of the ***,we conduct word-aligned and unaligned experiments on three challenging datasets,IEMOCAP,CMU-MOSI,and *** experimental results show the superiority and efficiency of our proposed method in both *** with the mainstream methods,our approach reaches the state-of-the-art with a minimum number of parameters.

Objective To describe the experience of the China CDC in rebuilding reporting capacity and response to the Sichuan earthquake through use of mobile phones. Methods Software engineering and business modeling are used to design and develop a cell phone-based reporting system. The PDA-based system used by the Field Adapted Survey Toolkit （FAST） was deployed Results Approximately one week after deployment of the mobile phone-based reporting system, the cumulative reporting rate reached the same level （81%） as the same period in 2007. In the Sichuan provincial pilot investigation for infectious disease, 1339 records were collected using PDAs developed and deployed by FAST. Conclusion The mobile-based system is recognized as a quick and effective response solution to this public health challenge. Our experience suggests that mobile-based data collection tools provide faster, cleaner, standardized, and shareable data for critical decision making. This system could be adapted as complementary to national infectious disease reporting systems after natural disaster occurrences.

Background：Musculoskeletal disorders（MSD） comprise a wide range of conditions,associated with an enormous pain and impaired mobility,and are affecting people＇s lives and *** of musculoskeletal disorders typically involves a multidisciplinary team *** findings have been found in previous studies evaluating the effectiveness of complementary therapies,though little attention has been paid to evaluating of the effectiveness of integrated packages of care combining conventional and complementary approaches for musculoskeletal conditions in a National health service（NHS） ***：To determine the feasibility of all aspects of a pragmatic observational study designed：（1） to evaluate the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of integrated treatments for MSDs in an integrated NHS hospital in the UK;（2） to determine the acceptability of the study design and research process to patients;（3） to explore patients＇ expectation and experience of receiving integrated ***：This is an observational feasibility study,with 1-year recruitment and 1-year follow-up,conducted in Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine,University College London Hospital Trust,*** eligible patients with MSDs newly referred to the hospital were included in the *** are integrated packages of care（conventional and complementary） as currently provided in the ***-36 health Survey,short form Brief Pain Inventory,Visual Analogue Scale,and modified Client service Receipt Inventory will be assessed at 4/5 time ***-structured interview/focus group will be carried out before treatment,and 1 year after commence of ***：We intend to conduct a pragmatic observational study of integrated medical treatment of MSDs at a public sector *** will inform the design of a future trial including recruitment,retention,suitability of the outcome measures and patients experiences.

Objective: This study explored the correlations between the use of complementary and integrative therapies(CITs) and symptoms among Turkish patients with familial Mediterranean fever(FMF).Methods: This is a cross-sectional and descriptive study. The study was conducted with 1119 FMF patients who were registered to the social networking site for Behcet’s and the FMF Patients Association(Befemder) in Turkey, between January 2018 and February 2019. Data were collected using an online survey, for which a three-part questionnaire was created using a Google form. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the ***: It was determined that 53.2% of the individuals who participated in the research used various forms of CITs and that 32.8% used vitamin and mineral supplements(calcium, iron, and vitamin B12, C and D), 25.0% used nutritional supplements(fish oil and honey), and 24.6% used oral herbs(ginger, turmeric, green tea and rosemary) and mind–body methods(relaxation, respiration exercise and meditation). It was determined that the percentage of participants that used CITs was higher among women(odds ratio [OR] = 1.825;95% confidence interval [CI] 1.421–2.344), those with joint pain(OR = 1.385;95% CI 1.047–1.832), those with difficulty breathing(OR = 1.323;95% CI 1.031–1.697), those with gastrointestinal symptoms(OR = 1.405;95% CI 1.089–1.814) and those who had a family member with FMF(OR = 1.437;95% CI 1.115–1.851).Conclusion: More than half of the individuals used at least one type of CIT for symptom control.

A Multiple-Port Three-Level DC/DC Converter for HESS with Power Sharing in DC Microgrids

In order to reduce the volume, weight and cost of conventional hybrid energy storage system(HESS) while properly exploring the complementary features of different energy storage devices for DC microgrid applications, this paper proposes a multipleport three-level DC/DC converter. It possesses multiple ports sharing one front-end three-level DC/DC converter with an inductor and supercapacitor bank. Different types of batteries and/or multiple battery banks can be interfaced through the multiple terminals. Such a converter structure facilitates the cooperation of different energy storage devices to satisfy various power demands of DC microgrids with intermittent renewable generation plants. Moreover, the proposed structure allows power sharing among different energy storage devices, which enables more efficient cooperation of different battery banks or different types of batteries. Experimental results are presented to verify the efficacy of the proposed converter structure and its control.

Objective: To explore the difference in rates and reasons for disclosure of either conventional or complementary medicine(CM) to healthcare practitioners between people living with sleep disorders(SDs) and those without ***: A cross-sectional survey(N = 2019 adults) that measured sociodemographic characteristics,health status, health service utilisation, health literacy and health communication(medicine disclosure)of a representative sample of Australians was conducted. Data from participants reporting an SD(n = 265)were compared to those not reporting an SD to assess measures of health communication and disclosure about medicine ***: Overall, rates of medicine disclosure to both conventional and CM practitioners were high, in respondents with(70%) and without an SD(57%). Those reporting an SD had higher expectations of their conventional health practitioner’s knowledge of CM, associated clinical decision-making skills, and approval of CM use, and held a higher degree of concern about drug interactions(P health practitioners and conventional medicine use to CM practitioners were “I want them to fully understand my health status” and“I was concerned about drug interactions with the CMs used.”Conclusion: The high rate of medicine use disclosure by people with SDs is driven by an intention to inform their healthcare practitioner about their health status and concerns about potential medicine interactions. Therefore, research about the expectations that people with an SD have of their conventional healthcare practitioners’ knowledge of CM and CM-drug interactions requires further ***, further examination of CM practitioner’s conventional medicine knowledge is encouraged.

In China, with the restructuring of health care system moving forward, private community health facilities have been playing a complementary but increasingly important role in providing public health and basic medical care services in urban areas. However, only limited evidence is available con-cerning the service functions of private community health facilities in China. The aim of this study was to explore the functions of private community health stations (PCHSs) to provide evidence-based rec-ommendations for policy-making and practice in the development of urban community health services systems. A total of 818 PCHSs and 4320 government-sponsored community health stations (GCHSs) located in 28 cities of China were investigated in 2008. The percentages of stations that provided health services and the annual workload per community health worker (CHW) were compared between the two types of institutions. The results showed that the percentages of PCHSs providing public health services were significantly higher than those of GCHSs (Pservices providing between PCHSs and GCHSs (P>0.05). The annual workloads of all the public health services and basic medical services per CHW in PCHSs were lighter than those in GCHSs (Phealth records establishment and health education materials distribution (P>0.05). At present, the GCHSs are still the mainstream in urban China, which will last for a long period in future. However, our findings showed that the annual workloads of CHWs in PCHSs were no heavier than those in GCHSs, and the PCHSs were willing to provide public health services. In view of current inadequacy of health resources in China, it is feasible to further develop PCHSs under the guidance of the government, given that PCHSs can perform the basic functions of community health services, which is useful for the formation of public-private partnerships (PPP)
