Breast cancer has surpassed lung cancer to become the most common malignancy *** incidence rate and mortality rate of breast cancer continue to rise,which leads to a great burden on public *** RNAs(circRNAs),a new class of noncoding RNAs(ncRNAs),have been recognized as important oncogenes or suppressors in regulating cancer initiation and *** breast cancer,circRNAs have significant roles in tumorigenesis,recurrence and multidrug resistance that are mediated by various ***,circRNAs may serve as promising targets of therapeutic strategies for breast cancer *** study reviews the most recent studies about the biosynthesis and characteristics of circRNAs in diagnosis,treatment and prognosis evaluation,as well as the value of circRNAs in clinical applications as biomarkers or therapeutic targets in breast *** the mechanisms by which circRNAs function could help transform basic research into clinical applications and facilitate the development of novel circRNA-based therapeutic strategies for breast cancer treatment.

BACKGROUND Para-aortic lymph nodes(PALNs)are common sites for the regional spread of cervical squamous cell carcinoma(SCC).CASE SUMMARY We report the case of a 36-year-old woman who presented with cervical SCC with multiple bulky PALNs,largest measured 4.5 cm×5 cm×10 *** patient was treated with radical intent with definitive chemoradiation using sequential doseescalated adaptive radiotherapy,followed by maintenance *** patient achieved a complete response;she has been doing well since the completion of treatment with no evidence of the disease for 2 *** Regardless of the size of PALN metastases of cervical carcinoma origin,it is still treatable(with radical intent)via concurrent *** radiotherapy allows dose escalation with minimal toxicity.

Colorectal cancer causes the third most common type of malignant tumors with high morbidity and *** is currently one of the most effective and common treatments for colorectal ***,the poor water solubility of some chemotherapeutics,untargeted drug delivery,and the undesirable systemic side effects of conventional treatment remain the major issues for colorectal cancer ***,drug delivery systems(DDS)based on biomaterials have been widely investigated and found to be capable of resolving those issues with good ***,the main goal of this review is to summarize and discuss the progress and potential advantages of different DDS for colorectal cancer *** not only reviewed the nanocarriers used to improve the solubility of chemotherapeutics,including liposomes,micelles,and nanoparticles,but also discussed targeted DDS based on specific ligand-receptor recognition and tumor microenvironmental stimulus ***,locally administered systems based on hydrogels and microspheres,which have been shown to increase drug accumulation at the tumor site while decreasing systemic toxicity,were also *** provides a good option for improving the efficacy of chemotherapy in the treatment of colorectal cancer.
