The existing containment control has been widely developed for several years, but ignores the case for large-scale cooperation. The strong coupling of large-scale networks will increase the costs of system detection and maintenance. Therefore, this paper is concerned with an extensional containment control issue, hierarchical containment control. It aims to enable a multitude of followers achieving a novel cooperation in the convex hull shaped by multiple leaders. Firstly, by constructing the three-layer topology, large-scale networks are decoupled. Then,under the condition of directed spanning group-tree, a class of dynamic hierarchical containment control protocol is designed such that the novel group-consensus behavior in the convex hull can be realized. Moreover, the definitions of coupling strength coefficients and the group-consensus parameter in the proposed dynamic hierarchical control protocol enhance the adjustability of systems. Compared with the existing containment control strategy, the proposed hierarchical containment control strategy improves dynamic control performance. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed hierarchical control protocol.

Machine learning(ML)has been empowering all aspects of the wireless communication system design, among which, the reinforcement learning(RL)-based approaches have attracted a lot of research attention since they can interact with the environment directly and learn from the collected experiences efficiently. In this paper, we propose a novel and efficient RL-based multi-beam combining scheme for future millimeter-wave(mmWave)three-dimensional(3D)multi-input multi-output(MIMO)communication systems. The proposed scheme does not require perfect channel state information(CSI)or precise user location information which both are generally difficult to obtain in practice, and well addresses the crucial challenge of computational complexity incurred by the extremely huge state and action spaces associated with multiple users, multiple paths, and multiple 3D beams. In particular, a self-attention deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG)-based beam selection and combination framework is proposed to learn the 3D beamforming pattern without CSI adaptively. We aim to maximize the sum-rate of the mmWave 3D-MIMO system by optimizing the serving beam set and the corresponding combining weights for each user. To this end, the transformer is incorporated into the DDPG to obtain the global information of the input elements and capture the signal directions precisely, which leads to a near-optimal beamformer design. Simulation results verify the superiority of the proposed self-attention DDPG over conventional ML-based beamforming schemes in terms of sum-rate under various scenarios.

This paper presents a novel approach to proxy blind signatures in the realm of quantum circuits,aiming to enhance security while safeguarding sensitive information.The main objective of this research is to introduce a quantum proxy blind signature(QPBS)protocol that utilizes quantum logical gates and quantum measurement techniques.The QPBS protocol is constructed by the initial phase,proximal blinding message phase,remote authorization and signature phase,remote validation,and de-blinding phase.This innovative design ensures a secure mechanism for signing documents without revealing the content to the proxy signer,providing practical security authentication in a quantum environment under the assumption that the CNOT gates are securely implemented.Unlike existing approaches,our proposed QPBS protocol eliminates the need for quantum entanglement preparation,thus simplifying the implementation process.To assess the effectiveness and robustness of the QPBS protocol,we conduct comprehensive simulation studies in both ideal and noisy quantum environments on the IBM quantum cloud platform.The results demonstrate the superior performance of the QPBS algorithm,highlighting its resilience against repudiation and forgeability,which are key security concerns in the realm of proxy blind signatures.Furthermore,we have established authentic security thresholds(82.102%)in the presence of real noise,thereby emphasizing the practicality of our proposed solution.

A QoS Based Reliable Routing Mechanism for Service Customization

Due to the rapid development of the Internet technology such as 5G/6G and artificial intelligence,more and more new network applications appear.Customers using these applications may have different individual demands and such a trend causes great challenges to the traditional integrated service and routing model.In order to satisfy the individual demands of customers,the service customization should be considered,during which the cost of Internet Service Provider(ISP)naturally increases.Hence,how to reach a balance between the customer satisfaction and the ISP profit becomes vitally important.Targeting at addressing this critical problem,this work proposes a service customization oriented reliable routing mechanism,which includes two modules,that is,the service customization module and the routing module.In particular,the former(i.e.,the service customization module)is responsible for classifying services by analyzing and processing the customer’s demands.After that,the IPv6 protocol is used to implement the service customization,since it naturally supports differentiated services via the extended header fields.The latter is responsible for transforming the customized services into specific routing policies.Specifically,the Nash equilibrium based economic model is firstly introduced to make a perfect balance between the user satisfaction and the ISP profits,which could finally produce a win-win solution.After that,based on the customized service policies,an optimized grey wolf algorithm is designed to establish the routing path,during which the routing reliability is formulated and calculated.Finally,the experiments are carried out and the proposed mechanism is evaluated.The results indicate that the proposed service customization and routing mechanism improves the routing reliability,user satisfaction and ISP satisfaction by about 8.42%,15.5%and 17.75%respectively compared with the classical open shortest path first algorithm and the function learning based algorithm.

An Incremental Model Transfer Method for Complex Process Fault Diagnosis

Fault diagnosis is an important measure to ensure the safety of production, and all kinds of fault diagnosis methods are of importance in actual production process. However, the complexity and uncertainty of production process often lead to the changes of data distribution and the emergence of new fault classes, and the number of the new fault classes is unpredictable. The reconstruction of the fault diagnosis model and the identification of new fault classes have become core issues under the circumstances. This paper presents a fault diagnosis method based on model transfer learning and the main contributions of the paper are as follows: 1) An incremental model transfer fault diagnosis method is proposed to reconstruct the new process diagnosis model. 2) Breaking the limit of existing method that the new process can only have one more class of faults than the old process, this method can identify M faults more in the new process with the thought of incremental learning. 3) The method offers a solution to a series of problems caused by the increase of fault classes. Experiments based on Tennessee-Eastman process and ore grinding classification process demonstrate the effectiveness and the feasibility of the method.

Containment-Based Multiple PCC Voltage Regulation Strategy for Communication Link and Sensor Faults

The distributed AC microgrid(MG) voltage restoration problem has been extensively studied. Still, many existing secondary voltage control strategies neglect the co-regulation of the voltage at the point of common coupling(PCC) in the AC multi-MG system(MMS). When an MMS consists of sub-MGs connected in series, power flow between the sub-MGs is not possible if the PCC voltage regulation relies on traditional consensus control objectives. In addition, communication faults and sensor faults are inevitable in the MMS. Therefore, a resilient voltage regulation strategy based on containment control is proposed.First, the feedback linearization technique allows us to deal with the nonlinear distributed generation(DG) dynamics, where the PCC regulation problem of an AC MG is transformed into an output feedback tracking problem for a linear multi-agent system(MAS) containing nonlinear dynamics. This process is an indispensable pre-processing in control algorithm design. Moreover, considering the unavailability of full-state measurements and the potential faults present in the sensors, a novel follower observer is designed to handle communication faults. Based on this, a controller based on containment control is designed to achieve voltage regulation. In regulating multiple PCC voltages to a reasonable upper and lower limit, a voltage difference exists between sub-MGs to achieve power flow. In addition, the secondary control algorithm avoids using global information of directed communication network and fault boundaries for communication link and sensor faults. Finally, the simulation results verify the performance of the proposed strategy.

The permanent magnet eddy current coupler(PMEC)solves the problem of flexible connection and speed regulation between the motor and the load and is widely used in electrical transmission systems.It provides torque to the load and generates heat and losses,reducing its energy transfer efficiency.This issue has become an obstacle for PMEC to develop toward a higher power.This paper aims to improve the overall performance of PMEC through multi-objective optimization methods.Firstly,a PMEC modeling method based on the Levenberg-Marquardt back propagation(LMBP)neural network is proposed,aiming at the characteristics of the complex input-output relationship and the strong nonlinearity of PMEC.Then,a novel competition mechanism-based multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm(NCMOPSO)is proposed to find the optimal structural parameters of PMEC.Chaotic search and mutation strategies are used to improve the original algorithm,which improves the shortcomings of multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO),which is too fast to converge into a global optimum,and balances the convergence and diversity of the algorithm.In order to verify the superiority and applicability of the proposed algorithm,it is compared with several popular multi-objective optimization algorithms.Applying them to the optimization model of PMEC,the results show that the proposed algorithm has better comprehensive performance.Finally,a finite element simulation model is established using the optimal structural parameters obtained by the proposed algorithm to verify the optimization results.Compared with the prototype,the optimized PMEC has reduced eddy current losses by 1.7812 kW,increased output torque by 658.5 N·m,and decreased costs by 13%,improving energy transfer efficiency.

A Method for Deploying the Minimal Number of UAV Base Stations in Cellular Networks

In this paper,we consider the scenario of using unmanned aerial vehicles base stations(UAV-BSs)to serve cellular users.In particular,we focus on frnding the minimum number of UAV-BSs as well as their deployment.We propose an optimization model which minimizes the number of UAV-BSs and optimize their positions such that the user equipment(UE)covered ratio is no less than the expectation of network suppliers,the UEs receive acceptable downlink rates,and the UAV-BSs can work in a sustainable manner.We show the NP-hardness of this problem and then propose a method to address it.The method first estimates the range of the number of UAV-BSs and then converts the original problem to one which maximizes the UE served ratio,given the number of UAV-BSs within that range.We present a maximizing algorithm to solve it with the proof of convergence.Extensive simulations based on a realistic dataset have been conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
