Along-track Calibration of the Zhurong Rover Magnetometer

As part of the Chinese Tianwen-1 mission,the Zhurong Rover began its scientific investigation in the southern Utopia Planitia after its successful landing in 15 May,*** Zhurong Rover magnetometer(RoMAG),one of the six payloads onboard the rover,includes two identical high-sensitivity triaxial fluxgate magnetometers and can implement mobile magnetic measurements on the surface of *** a rover magnetic compensation procedure was conducted to remove the magnetic interferences pre-launch,due to the different state of the payloads and electric power system such as the solar panel,an along-track calibration of the magnetometer is necessary to obtain a more accurate Martian magnetic *** methods,mast yaw rotations and Rover yaw rotations were utilized separately to determine the Martian horizontal magnetic *** show that the Martian horizontal magnetic components determined by the two methods are in good agreement,with the root mean square deviation less than 2.0 *** vertical component was also constrained through the pitch movements of the mast by assuming the interferences field distributes like a dipole field.A linear correlation between magnetic field measurements and the solar array currents was derived to calibrate the body field during the regular *** conclude that more accurate measurements could be made when applying the calibration results in the magnetic survey on the surface of Mars.

The development of rechargeable magnesium(Mg) batteries is of practical significance to upgrade the electric energy storage devices due to exceptional capacity and abundant resources of Mg-metal ***,the reversible Mg electrochemistry suffers from unsatisfied rate capability and lifespan,mainly caused by non-uniform distribution of *** this work,a fresh design concept of threedimensional carbon cloths scaffolds is proposed to overcome the uncontrollable Mg growth via homogenizing electric field and improving magnesiophilicity.A microscopic smooth and nitrogen-containing defective carbonaceous layer is constructed through a facile pyrolysis of ZIF8 on carbon *** revealed by finite element simulation and DFT calculation results,the smooth surface endows with uniform electric field distribution and simultaneously the nitrogen-doping species enable good magnesiophilicity of *** fine and uniform Mg nucleus as well as the inner electrodeposit behavior are also *** a result,an exceptional cycle life of 500 cycles at 4.0 mA cm^(-2) and 4.0 mA h cm^(-2) is firstly realized to our best ***,the functional scaffolds can be cycled for over 2200 h at 2.0 mA cm^(-2) under a normalized capacity of 5.0 mA h cm^(-2),far exceeding previous *** work offers an effective approach to enable the full potential of carbon cloths-based scaffolds towards metal storage for next generation battery applications.

Streamflow responses to climate change and LUCC in a semi-arid watershed of Chinese Loess Plateau

Climate change and Land Use/Cover Change（LUCC） have been identified as two primary factors affecting watershed hydrological regime. This study analyzed the trends of streamflow, precipitation, air temperature and potential evapotranspiration（PET） from 1962 to 2008 in the Jihe watershed in northwestern Loess Plateau of China using the Mann-Kendall test. The streamflow responses to climate change and LUCC were quantified independently by the elasticity method. The results show that the streamflow presented a dramatic decline with a turning point occurred in 1971, while the precipitation and PET did not change significantly. The results also show that the temperature rose markedly especially since 1990 s with an approximate increase of 1.74°C over the entire research period（1962–2008）. Using land use transition matrix, we found that slope cropland was significantly converted to terrace between 1970 s and 1990 s and that forest cover increased relatively significantly because of the Grain for Green Project after 2000. The streamflow reduction was predominantly caused by LUCC and its contribution reached up to 90.2%, while the contribution of climate change to streamflow decline was only 9.8%. Although the analytical results between the elasticity method and linear regression model were not satisfactorily consistent, they both indicated that LUCC（human activity） was the major factor causing streamflow decline in the Jihe watershed from 1962 to 2008.

A new scheme which generates multi-frequency terahertz(THz)waves from planar waveguide by the optimized cascaded difference frequency generation(OCDFG)is proposed.A THz wave with frequencyω_(T1)is generated by the OCDFG with two infrared pump waves,and simultaneously a series of cascaded optical waves with a frequency intervalω_(T1)is *** THz wave with a frequency of M-timesω_(T1)is generated by mixing the m-th-order and the(m+M)-th-order cascaded optical *** phase mismatch distributions of cascaded difference frequency generation(CDFG)are modulated by changing the thickness of planar waveguide step by step,thereby satisfying the phase-matching condition from first-order to high-order cascaded Stokes process step by *** a result,the intensity of THz wave can be enhanced and modulated by controlling the cascading order of OCDFG.

Characteristics of the Lower Yellow River channel shrinkage and its discriminant parameters

This paper analyzes the changing trends of the Lower Yellow River(LYR) transverse profile parameters and their aberrance points by the time series analysis *** results show that there has been a trend of changes in the LYR channel transverse profile parameters since the *** main river channel has a tendency of shrinkage year by year and the trend will be continued in the *** main features of the LYR channel shrinkage are remarkable reductions of bankfull dis-charges and bankfull areas,corresponding decreases of bankfull widths,average bankfull water depths and maximal bankfull water depths,as well as increases of bankfull water levels and width-depth ratios *** discriminant parameters for threshold of the LYR main channel shrinkage were put *** indicates that the LYR main channel began to shrink in the 1970s and has entered into a serious phase of channel shrinkage since the *** incompatible index of discharged water-sediment processes of the Sanmenxia Reservoir was introduced,which revealed that there was a trend of increasing in the incompatibility between water flow and sediment *** relations between the LYR main channel shrinkage parameters and discharged water-sediment processes of the Sanmenxia Reservoir were founded,which indicate that the LYR main channel shrinkage can be mitigated and improved through the regulation of discharged water-sediment processes of the reservoir,especially through the regulation of water-sediment incompatible *** LYR channel for water and sediment transportation can be restored and maintained.

Experimental study on flocculation and sedimentation characteristics of cohesive fine sediment measured using ultrasound in the Pearl River Estuary

Flocculation-settling of cohesive fine sediment is the main cause of sediment deposition and changes in topography and geomorphology in ***,studies on estuary morphology have often focused on a single influencing factor,and sediment deposition characteristics under disturbances in sediment concentration,moisture content,and external forces have rarely been considered *** authors propose an ultrasound-assisted flocculation-settling method to analyze the various factor affecting cohesive *** current study examined the sedimentation patterns of cohesive sediment with a sediment content concentration of 30%-80% through ultrasound *** results show that when the sediment concentration is 40%-50%,the best effect on flocculation and sedimentation is induced by ultrasound *** corresponding settling height at the clear-muddy water interface is 3.05-3.45 cm,and the settling rate is 0.161-0.173 cm/***,using ultrasound waves,a moisture content of the sediment concentration of 30%-80% was analyzed based on wet and dry *** a sediment concentration of 50% as an example,the maximum values of the variation in the water contents of the upper,middle,and lower layers of the wet basis were 0.82%,0.51%,and0.37%,respectively,whereas those of the upper,middle,and lower layers of the dry basis were 4.77%,1.07%,and 0.60%,***,the moisture content of dry and wet sediment varied as follows:Wupper> Wmiddle> *** current research results can provide a theoretical basis and technical reference for siltation in channels,harbors,and reservoirs;the evolution of submarine deltas and coastal beaches;transportation of fluid mud;and the treatment of hyper-concentrated sediment flows.

Study on the Whole Process Simulation and Regulation Mechanism of Urban Green Ecological Rainwater Drainage System

In view of the frequent waterlogging caused by rapid urbanization and the public’s dissatisfaction with the drainage system,the article based on the concept of the green ecological drainage system,constructed the urban green ecological drainage comprehensive simulation research system,and quickly evaluated pipe network operation and surface water of an industrial park under typical rainfall *** results showed that the drainage capacity of the designed green ecological rainwater drainage system reached 100%,and there was no ponding phenomenon,which indicated that the green ecological rainwater drainage system could effectively solve the practical problems of urban *** green ecological rainwater comprehensive simulation research system had good *** research results provided the scientific theoretical basis and reference significance for planning,designing,constructing,operating,and managing urban rainwater system scientifically and systematically.

Oxygen Evolution Efficiency and Chlorine Evolution Efficiency for Electrocatalytic Properties of MnO_2-based Electrodes in Seawater

To improve both oxygen evolution efficiency and stability at high temperatures, Mn, Mn+Mo, Mn+Mo+V, and Mn+Fe+V oxide electrodes were prepared on a Ti substrate, with an intermediate layer of IrO_2, by an anodic deposition method. The crystal structure, surface morphology, pore size distribution, specific surface area, and voltammetric charge were then characterized for each electrode. The results demonstrated that for Mn-O electrodes, the preferential orientation of the(100) crystal plane and the mesopore structure played negative roles in the oxygen evolution reaction. On the basis of the electrocatalytic properties of MnO2-based electrodes in seawater, the outer surface voltammetric charge at a scan rate of 500 mV·s-1 was shown to effectively indicate whether oxygen evolution reactions were preferred over chlorine evolution reactions. The Mn-O electrode exhibited oxygen evolution efficiency of only 47.27%, whereas the Mn+Mo, Mn+Mo+V and Mn+Fe+V oxide electrodes displayed oxygen evolution efficiency of nearly 100%. This means that adding Mo, V, and Fe elements to the electrode can improve its crystal structure and morphology as well as further enhancing its oxygen evolution efficiency.

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of One 3D Coordination Polymer of Nickel(Ⅱ) Achieved from 5-Iodo-isophthalic Acid Ligand

A new coordination polymer [Ni（L）（m-bix）（H2O）]n （1, H2L = 5-iodo-isophthalic acid, m-bix=1,3-bis（imidazol-1-ylmethyl）-benzene） has been synthesized by the hydrothermal method and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, powder XRD and single-crystal X-ray analysis. The crystal is of triclinic, space group Pī with a = 9.1638（3）, b = 10.2319（3）, c = 13.2463（4）？, α = 80.1710（10）, β = 83.671（2）, γ = 70.3790（10）o,C22H19NiIN4O5, Mr = 605.02, V = 1150.85（6）？3, Dc = 1.746 g/cm3, F（000） = 600, μ = 2.225 mm-1, S = 1.045 and Z = 2. The final R = 0.0388 and wR = 0.1257 for 5089 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. In the title complex, the M and P layers are arranged alternately to give a double-layer structure by the symmetry related hydrogen bonds, and these double-layers are further joined together to achieve a 2D supramolecular architecture through I···π interaction involving iodine atoms and imidazole rings. The thermal stability of the title complex was studied by thermal gravimetric （TG） and differential thermal analysis （DTA）.

Multi-criteria decision making method based on improved cosine similarity measure with interval neutrosophic sets

Purpose–The fuzziness and complexity of evaluation information are common phenomenon in practical decision-making problem,interval neutrosophic sets(INSs)is a power tool to deal with ambiguous *** measure plays an important role in judging the degree between ideal and each alternative in decision-making process,the purpose of this paper is to establish a multi-criteria decision-making method based on similarity measure under ***/methodology/approach–Based on an extension of existing cosine similarity,this paper first introduces an improved cosine similarity measure between interval neutosophic numbers,which considers the degrees of the truth membership,the indeterminacy membership and the falsity membership of the evaluation *** then a multi-criteria decision-making method is established based on the improved cosine similarity measure,in which the ordered weighted averaging(OWA)is adopted to aggregate the neutrosophic information related to each ***,an example on supplier selection is given to illustrate the feasibility and practicality of the presented decision-making ***–In the whole process of research and practice,it was realized that the application field of the proposed similarity measure theory still should be expanded,and the development of interval number theory is one of further research ***/value–The main contributions of this paper are as follows:this study presents an improved cosine similarity measure under INSs,in which the weights of the three independent components of an interval number are taken into account;OWA are adopted to aggregate the neutrosophic information related to each alternative;and a multi-criteria decision-making method using the proposed similarity is developed under INSs.
