Half-precessional cycle revealed by environment magnetism of stalagmite in Shizhu Cave from southwestern China during the Last Glacial

The environmental magnetic proxies of stalagmites hold significant potential for reconstructing regional hydroclimate changes by revealing the content and grain size of magnetic particles within stalagmites. In this study， we present the contents and grain sizes of magnetic particles within a stalagmite SZ-1， from Shizhu Cave in southwestern China from 70.4 to 22.3 thousand years ago (ka) during the last glacial period. Specifically， the parameters IRMsoft， soil-derived magnetic minerals， and ARM/SIRM (anhysteretic remanent magnetization/saturation isothermal remanent magnetization)， the ratio of fine magnetic particles to total ferrimagnetic particles preserved in stalagmite SZ-1， indicate the fluctuation of regional precipitation. Obvious half-precessional cycles are evident in these two proxies， indicating that hydroclimatic variations in southwestern China may predominantly arise from the heat and moisture transported from tropical oceans. These variations are likely influenced by shifts in the Intertropical Convergence Zone and fluctuations in the Asian summer monsoon.

Visitors abroad come on an inbound tourism (IT) trip. Travelling beyond one’s usual surroundingsfor no more than a year in one go, or no less than tourist culture is considered inboundtourism. A network called adaptive neural networks (ANN) is used in dynamic tourism *** methods are used to make neural networks flexible: weight adjustment, changes in neuronalcharacteristics, and changes in the network’s structural composition. One of the biggestproblems is that cultural clashes lead to many different places, which strain the transportationsystem. IT-ANN tools and technologies are discussed in this study, including the possibilities ofvisitor time and space-relationship data. As a result, inbound tourism doesn’t have to rely onweekend domestic travel because individuals who go on holiday overseas tend to return yearafter year. Finally, the neural network is equipped with a prediction model of travellers’ spatialand temporal distribution.

Based on the theory of tourism gaze,this paper analyzes tourists’ online travel notes by using rooted theory and content analysis *** the relationship between concepts,the five dimensions of tourists’ perception of Fanjing Mountain tourism image are extracted from the network travel notes,and the tourism image cognition of Fanjing Mountain World Natural Heritage is judged by cognitive analysis,emotional analysis and visual perception analysis,and the conclusions and suggestions are put forward.

Uncovering offline event similarity of online friends by constructing null models

The emergence of Event-based Social Network(EBSN) data that contain both social and event information has cleared the way to study the social interactive relationship between the virtual interactions and physical interactions. In existing studies, it is not really clear which factors affect event similarity between online friends and the influence degree of each factor. In this study, a multi-layer network based on the Plancast service data is constructed. The the user’s events belongingness is shuffled by constructing two null models to detect offline event similarity between online friends. The results indicate that there is a strong correlation between online social proximity and offline event similarity. The micro-scale structures at multi-levels of the Plancast online social network are also maintained by constructing 0 k–3 k null models to study how the micro-scale characteristics of online networks affect the similarity of offline events. It is found that the assortativity pattern is a significant micro-scale characteristic to maintain offline event similarity. Finally, we study how structural diversity of online friends affects the offline event similarity. We find that the subgraph structure of common friends has no positive impact on event similarity while the number of common friends plays a key role, which is different from other studies. In addition, we discuss the randomness of different null models, which can measure the degree of information availability in privacy protection. Our study not only uncovers the factors that affect offline event similarity between friends but also presents a framework for understanding the pattern of human mobility.

Stalagmite-inferred Holocene precipitation in northern guizhou Province, China, and asynchronous termination of the Climatic Optimum in the Asian monsoon territory

An absolute-dated, bi-decadal-resolution, stalagmite oxygen-isotopic time series from Shigao Cave reveals the evolution of summer monsoon precipitation over the past 9.9 ka BP in northern guizhou Province, Southwest China. The  18O-inferred climate conditions are divisible into three distinct stages: (1) a maximum humid era from 9.9-6.6 ka BP; (2) a gradual declining precipitation interval between 6.6-1.6 ka BP; and (3) a relatively low precipitation time window after 1.6 ka BP. Consistency of contemporaneous stalagmite Holocene 18O records between Shigao and other caves in the Indian and East Asian monsoon realms support the effect of primary orbital solar forcings on monsoonal precipitation. However, statistical analysis shows a significant spatial asynchroneity of the Holocene Optimum termination in the Asian monsoon territory. The Holocene Optimum ended at 7.2-7.4 ka BP in Oman, located in the Indian monsoon region, and at 5.6-5.8 ka BP in Central China, in the East Asian monsoon zone. In Southwest China, the termination occurred between these periods, at 6.6-7.0 ka BP, and was influenced by both monsoon systems. We propose that this spatially asynchronous ending of Holocene Optimum in Asia may be attributed to sea surface temperature changes in the western tropical Pacific, which is a primary moisture source for the East Asian monsoon.

Study on the Spatial Coupling between Expressway Networks and Tourist Attractions: A Case Study of guizhou Province

Transportation is the most basic element in the development of tourism, with expressways being the main channel for tourism transportation in the era of driving tours. The relationship between transportation and tourism development has always been one of the hot topics in tourism geography study. Since the expressway service area is the main node of tourist service facilities in the expressway transportation network, we conducted a field research on 125 service areas and 177 tourist attractions in guizhou Province, and obtained relevant data. By using the centrality measures for social network analysis, and combining the kernel density analysis with bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis, this paper explores the centrality characteristics of expressway transportation network, the spatial distribution regularity of tourist attractions, and the spatial coupling between them. The main study conclusions are as follows:(1) The expressway service areas in guizhou Province gradually decrease from a single core to the periphery.(2) The spatial distribution of tourist attractions presents a weak circular structure with multiple cores in a scattered manner, and the regional differences are apparent.(3) There is positive spatial correlation between the expressway networks and tourist attractions. The spatial coupling between the expressway transportation network and tourist attractions can be divided into four types of clusters:high–high cluster, high–low cluster, low–high cluster, and low–low cluster, with high–high and low–low clusters as the main types. The high–high cluster is the area with the best coupling effect and the most mature tourism. The high–low and low–high clusters have a mismatch between transportation and tourism resources. For such clusters, the spatial coupling can be realized by changing the functions of the service area or improving the quality of the tourist attraction. They have great development potential.
