Low-Temperature Reforming Products Coupling Spark Plug on Gasoline Compression Ignition and Combustion Characteristics under Low-Load Condition

Gasoline compression combustion engine has the advantages of low emission and high efficiency,which is very promising for research,but it is difficult to apply under low-load *** has the characteristics of low reactivity;in the case of low thermodynamic state in the cylinder,the fire delay period of the fuel is longer,and the combustion phase is relatively lagging,which will lead to the increase of combustion cycle fluctuations,and even difficult to ignite and other adverse combustion *** order to improve the combustion stability of Gasoline Compression Ignition（GCI） engine under low-load condition and expand the limit of low-load combustion boundary,gasoline was reformed without catalyst under the boundary condition of reforming temperature of 488 K and reforming equivalent ratio of 8,and the concentration of reformed product was measured by a gas detection ***,the coupling of the reformed product and spark plug with GCI engine under low-load condition was investigated to analyze the effect on engine combustion and *** results showed that the initial combustion timing of the low-load GCI engine was late,but the addition of reformed products could advance the combustion phase,shorten the combustion duration,reduce single-cycle NOxemission,and improve the small-load operation characteristics of GCI *** spark plug ignition on the basis of adding reformed products could further improve the problem of combustion stability under low-load GCI *** the optimization effect became more obvious as the ignition position of the spark plug moves ***,spark plug ignition would cause local high temperature areas,resulting in an increase in NOxemission.

Trial application of the envelope method to the potential ambiguity problem

The optical potential ambiguity is a long-standing problem in the analysis of elastic scattering *** a specific collid-ing system,ambiguous potential families can lead to different behaviors in the nearside and farside scattering *** contrast,the envelope method can decompose the experimental data into two components with negative and positive deflection angles,***,a question arises as to whether the comparison between the calculated nearside(or farside)component and the derived positive-deflection-angle(or negative-deflection-angle)component can help analyze the potential ambiguity *** this study,we conducted a trial application of the envelope method to the potential ambiguity *** envelope method was improved by including uncertainties in the experimental *** colliding systems of 16O+28Si at 215.2 MeV and 12C+12C at 1016 MeV were considered in the *** each colliding system,the angular distribution experimental data were described nearly equally well by two potential sets,one of which is“surface transpar-ent”and the other is *** calculated angular distributions were decomposed into nearside and farside scattering *** the improved envelope method,the experimental data were decomposed into the positive-deflection-angle and negative-deflection-angle components,which were then compared with the calculated nearside and farside *** capability of the envelope method to analyze the potential ambiguities was also discussed.

Reduced-order modeling and vibration transfer analysis of a fluid-delivering branch pipeline that consider fluid–solid interactions

The efficient dynamic modeling and vibration transfer analysis of a fluid-delivering branch pipeline(FDBP)are essential for analyzing vibration coupling effects and implementing vibration reduction ***,this study proposes a reduced-order dynamic modeling method suitable for FDBPs and then analyzes the vibration transfer *** the modeling method,the finite element method and absorbing transfer matrix method(ATMM)are integrated,considering the fluid–structure coupling effect and fluid *** dual-domain dynamic substructure method is developed to perform the reduced-order modeling of FDBP,and ATMM is adopted to reduce the matrix order when solving fluid ***,the modeling method is validated by experiments on an H-shaped branch ***,transient and steady-state vibration transfer analyses of FDBP are performed,and the effects of branch locations on natural characteristics and vibration transfer behavior are *** show that transient vibration transfer represents the transfer and conversion of the kinematic,strain,and damping energies,while steady-state vibration transfer characteristics are related to the vibration *** addition,multiple-order mode exchanges are triggered when branch locations vary in frequency-shift regions,and the mode-exchange regions are also the transformation ones for vibration transfer patterns.

Enhancing the piezoelectricity of CaBi_(4)Ti_(4)O_(15)(CBT)ceramics is crucial for improving their application potential in high-temperature piezoelectric ***,we propose a strategy involving the introduction of larger Na/Bi ions at the A-site,effectively inhibiting the tilt of oxygen octahedra and flattening the potential energy *** flattening enhances the variation in polarization under external ***,substituting Nb/Mn at the B-site increases the deviation between positive and negative ionic centers,leading to stronger spontaneous polarization,while the induced defect dipoles restrict oxygen vacancy migration and increase the direct current resistivity(ρ_(dc)).The flattened potential energy profile and increased spontaneous polarization significantly enhance the overall performance of cBT ceramics,with the piezoelectric constant(d_(33))reaching 25 pC/N when the Curie temperature(Tc)=752℃.Piezoresponse force microscopy(PFM)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)revealed submicron-long rectangular domains and nanoscale domains in the modified composition,indicating a high density of domain *** study presents an effective approach for enhancing the piezoelectric properties of bismuth layered-structured ferroelectrics(BLSFs),thereby improving the application potential of BLSFsathightemperatures.

Zn based electrochemical energy storage systems(EES)have attracted tremendous interests owing to their low cost and high intrinsic ***,the uncontrolled growth of Zn dendrites and the side reactions of Zn metal anodes(ZMAs)severely restrict their *** address these issues,we design the asymmetric Zn-N_(4) atomic sites embedded hollow fibers(AS-IHF)as the flexible host for stable *** introducing different nitrogen resources in the synthesis,two kinds of coordination,i,***-N(pyridinic)and Zn-N(pyrrolic),are introduced in the Zn-N_(4) atomic module *** asymmetric Zn-N_(4) module with regulated micro-environment facilitates the superior zincophilic features and promotes the Zn ***,the highly porous structure of the hollow fiber effectively reduces local current density,homogenize Zn ion flux,and alleviate structure *** the advantages endow the high efficiency and good stability for Zn plating/*** theoretical and experimental results demonstrate the high reversibility,low nucleation overpotential,and dendritefree behavior of the AS-IHF@Zn anode,which afford the high stability in high-rate and long-term ***,the solid-state Zn-ion hybrid capacitor(ZIHC)based on AS-IHF@Zn anode shows the high flexibility,reliability,and superior long-term cycling capability in a wide-range of temperatures(-20-25℃).Therefore,the present work not only gives a new strategy for modulating local environments of single atomic sites,but also propels the development of flexible power sources for diverse electronics.

Significant aerodynamic engine instability can occur during the operation of marine gas turbines as airflow enters the compressor through a 90°turning and causes inlet *** study adopts the method of simulating board equivalence to provide the target distortion flow field for ship *** characteristics of the flow field behind the simulated board are obtained through experiments and numerical simulations,through which the relationship between the height of the simulated board and the total pressure distortion is ***,the study summarizes the prediction formula to achieve a distortion prediction of 0.8%–7.8%.In addition,this work analyzes the effects of drilling methods and diameters on flow nonuniformity by drilling holes into the simulation *** results indicate that drilling holes on the board can weaken the nonuniformity of the flow field within a certain range and change the distribution pattern of total pressure in the ***,the total pressure distortion no longer changes significantly when the number of holes is too *** proposed double simulation board structure is capable of obtaining the following two types of distorted flow fields:symmetrical dual lowpressure zones and low-pressure zones with high distortion intensity at the compressor *** distortion equivalent simulation method proposed in this work can obtain various types of distortion spectra,thereby meeting the distortion parameter requirements for the antidistortion testing of marine engines.

Theoretical perspectives on the reduction of Pu(Ⅳ)and Np(Ⅵ)by methylhydrazine in HNO_(3)solution:Implications for Np/Pu separation

Effective adjustment and control of the oxidation state of plutonium(Pu)and neptunium(Np)is an indispensable component of Np/Pu separation in spent nuclear fuel *** hydrazine derivatives including methylhydrazine(CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3))effectively achieves the reduction of Np(Ⅵ)to Np(V)without reducing Pu(Ⅳ).Herein,we explored the reduction mechanisms of Pu(Ⅳ)and Np(Ⅵ)by CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3)in HNO_(3)solution using scalar-relativistic density functional *** elucidated the difference in the reduction mechanism between Np(Ⅵ)and Pu(Ⅳ)ions by CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3).The energy barrier for the reduction of[NpⅥO_(2)(H_(2)O)_(5)]^(2+)and[NpⅥO_(2)(NO_(3))(H_(2)O)_(3)]^(+)by CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3)is largely different due to the coordination of nitrate ***,the energy barrier of the reduction of[NpⅥO_(2)(H_(2)O)_(5)]^(2+)is apparently lower than that of[PuⅣ(NO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)_(7)]^(2+),which is in line with the experimental *** results of Mayer bond order and localized molecular orbitals clarify the structural evolution of the reaction *** of the spin density demonstrates that the first Np(Ⅵ)and Pu(Ⅳ)reduction belongs to the outer-sphere electron transfer and the second Np(Ⅵ)and Pu(Ⅳ)reduction is the hydrogen *** study explains theoretically why CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3)reduces Np(Ⅵ)but not Pu(Ⅳ),and helps to design promising reductants for the Np/Pu separation in spent nuclear fuel reprocessing.

Rapid Fabrication of Electrodes for Symmetrical Solid Oxide Cells by Extreme Heat Treatment

Symmetrical solid oxide cells （SSOCs） are very useful for energy generation and conversion. To fabricate the electrode of SSOC, it is very time-consuming to use the conventional approach. In this work, we design and develop a novel method, extreme heat treatment （EHT）, to rapidly fabricate electrodes for SSOC. We show that by using the EHT method, the electrode can be fabricated in seconds （the fastest method to date）, benefiting from enhanced reaction kinetics. The EHT-fabricated electrode presents a porous structure and good adhesion with the electrolyte. In contrast, tens of hours are needed to prepare the electrode by the conventional approach, and the prepared electrode exhibits a dense structure with a larger particle size due to the lengthy treatment. The EHT-fabricated electrode shows desirable electrochemical performance. Moreover, we show that the electrocatalytic activity of the perovskite electrode can be tuned by the vigorous approach of fast exsolution,deriving from the increased active sites for enhancing the electrochemical reactions. At 900℃, a promising peak power density of 966mWcm-2is reached. Our work exploits a new territory to fabricate and develop advanced electrodes for SSOCs in a rapid and high-throughput manner.

In-situ TEM study of the effect of hydrogen-helium ratio on defect characteristics in Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel during H_(2)^(+)&He^(+)simultaneous irradiation

The effect of hydrogen and helium interaction,especially H-He ratio,on the irradiation behavior of nuclear materials has not yet been ***,this is an important basis for evaluating the irradiation properties of nuclear materials and developing high irradiation resistant ***,30 keV H_(2)^(+)and He^(+)dual beams with four H-He ratios of 0:10,3:10,15:10,and 30:10 were used to irradiate the newly developed Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel in TEM to in-situ study the interaction and ratio effect of hydrogen and *** addition of H atoms significantly promoted the nucleation of dislocation loops and *** the early stage of irradiation,the average size and density of dislocation loops increased with the increase of H-He ***,the larger the H-He ratio,the easier it was to form a complex dislocation ***,the final saturation size of bubbles increased with the increase of H-He *** was first found that the swelling was affected by H concentrations,with high H concentrations slowing down the increase in *** a certain irradiation dose,a specific H-He ratio would lead to a swelling peak of Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M *** super-sized bubbles at grain boundaries(GBs)were found after H addition,resulting in a bigger swelling of GBs than the *** the swelling of the GBs and the matrix show a dependence on the H-He *** current work is of great significance for understanding the interaction between hydrogen and helium in nuclear materials.

Non-contact gaseous microplasma electrode as anode for electrodeposition of metal and metal alloy in molten salt

Microplasma based on glow discharge could act as a non-contact gaseous electrode and has attracted much attention in both fundamental research and application. Herein, with microplasma as the anode,the electrodeposition process of a series of metal and metal alloys in molten salt has been systemically studied. Four metal cations with different valence states, silver(Ag~+), nickel(Ni^(2+)), copper(Cu^(2+)), and iron(Fe^(3+)), could all be reduced on the solid cathode with high current efficiency and the corresponding metal products were of high purity. The electrodeposition of aluminum-lanthanum(Al-Ln) alloy on the aluminum cathode was also successfully carried out with microplasma as the anode, and the same alloy was obtained by using the conventional anode electrode. These results indicated that microplasma anode based on non-contact direct-current(DC) glow discharge is a promising electrode to be applied in molten salt electrolysis.
