“Peripheral nerve injury”refers to damage or trauma affecting nerves outside the brain and spinal *** nerve injury results in movements or sensation impairments,and represents a serious public health *** severed peripheral nerves have been effectively joined and various therapies have been offered,recovery of sensory or motor functions remains limited,and efficacious therapies for complete repair of a nerve injury remain *** emerging field of mesenchymal stem cells and their exosome-based therapies hold promise for enhancing nerve regeneration and *** stem cells,as large living cells responsive to the environment,secrete various factors and *** latter are nano-sized extracellular vesicles containing bioactive molecules such as proteins,microRNA,and messenger RNA derived from parent mesenchymal stem *** have pivotal roles in cell-to-cell communication and nervous tissue function,offering solutions to changes associated with cell-based *** ongoing investigations,mesenchymal stem cells and mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosome-based therapies are in the exploratory stage.A comprehensive review of the latest preclinical experiments and clinical trials is essential for deep understanding of therapeutic strategies and for facilitating clinical *** review initially explores current investigations of mesenchymal stem cells and mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes in peripheral nerve injury,exploring the underlying ***,it provides an overview of the current status of mesenchymal stem cell and exosomebased therapies in clinical trials,followed by a comparative analysis of therapies utilizing mesenchymal stem cells and ***,the review addresses the limitations and challenges associated with use of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes,offering potential solutions and guiding future directions.

Ru/NiMnB spherical cluster pillar for highly proficient green hydrogen electrocatalyst at high current density

Advanced OER/HER electrocatalytic alternatives are crucial for the wide adaptation of green hydrogen ***,Ru/NiMnB spherical cluster pillar （SCP）,denoted as Ru/NiMnB,is synthesized using a combination of electro-deposition and hydrothermal *** investigation of Ru doping in the NiMnB matrix revealed significant improvements in electrocatalytic *** Ru/NiMnB SCPs demonstrate superior OER/HER activity with low overpotentials of 150 and 103 mV at 50mA/cm2in 1 M KOH,making them highly competitive with state-of-the-art ***,the Ru/NiMnB SCPs exhibit a low 2-E cell voltage of 2.80 V at ultra-high current density of 2,000 m A/cm2in 1 M KOH,outperforming the standard benchmark electrodes of RuO2||Pt/C,thereby positioning Ru/NiMnB as one of the best bifunctional *** SCPs exhibit exceptional high-current characteristics,stability and corrosion resistance,as evidenced by continuous operation at 1,000 mA/cm2high-current density for over 150 h in 6 M KOH at elevated temperatures under harsh industrial *** a small amount of Ru incorporation significantly enhances the electrocatalytic performances of NiMnB,attributed to increased active sites and improved intrinsic properties such as conductivity,adsorption/desorption capability and reaction ***,Ru/NiMnB SCPs present a promising bi-functional electrode concept for efficient green H2production.

Asymptotic quasinormal modes of scalar field in a gravity's rainbow

In the framework of the gravity＇s rainbow, the asymptotic quasinormal modes of the modified Schwarzschild black holes undergoing a scalar perturbation are investigated. By using the monodromy method, we analytically calculated the asymptotic quasinormal frequencies, which depend on not only the mass parameter of the black hole, but also the particle＇s energy of the perturbation field. Meanwhile, the real parts of the asymptotic quasinormal modes can be expressed as TH In 3, which is consistent with Hod＇s conjecture. In addition, for the quantum corrected black hole, the area spacing is independent of the particle＇s energy, even though the area itself depends on the particle＇s energy. And that, by relating the area spectrum to loop quantum gravity, the Barbero-Immirzi parameter is given and it remains the same as from the usual black hole.

Adsorption of Congo Red onto Lignocellulose/Montmorillonite Nanocomposite

Lignocellulose/montmorillonite （LNC/MMT） nanocomposites were prepared and characterized by FTIR and XRD. The adsorption of congo red （CR） on LNC/MMT nanocomposite was studied in detail. The effects of contact temperature, pH value of the dye solutions, contact time and concentration of dye solutions on the adsorption capacities of lignocellulose （LNC）, montmorillonite （MMT） and the nanocomposite were investigated. The adsorption kinetics and isotherms and adsorption thermodynamics of the nanocomposite for CR were also studied. The results show that the adsorption capacity of LNC/MMT nanocomosite is higher than that of LNC and MMT. All the adsorption processes fit very well with the pseudo-second-order and the Langmuir equation. From thermodynamic studies, it is seen that the adsorption is spontaneous and endothermic.

Synthesis and characterization of carboxymethyl cellulose/organic montmorillonite nanocomposites and its adsorption behavior for Congo Red dye

A series of carboxymethyl cellulose/organic montmorillonite （CMC/OMMT） nanocomposites with different weight ratios of carboxymethyl cellulose （CMC） to organic montmorillonite （OMMT） were synthesized under different conditions. The nanocomposites were characterized by the Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR） spectrophotometer, X-ray diffraction （XRD） method, transmission electron microscope （TEM）, scanning electron microscope （SEM）, and thermal gravimetric （TG） analysis. The results showed that the introduction of CMC may have different influences on the physico-chemical properties of OMMT and intercalated-exfoliated nanostructures were formed in the nanocomposites. The effects of different reaction conditions on the adsorption capacity of samples for Congo Red （CR） dye were investigated by controlling the amount ofhexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide （CTAB）, the weight ratio of CMC to OMMT, the reaction time, and the reaction temperature. Results from the adsorption experiment showed that the adsorption capacity of the nanocomposites can reach 171.37 rag/g, with the amount of CTAB being 1.0 cation exchange capacity （CEC） of MMT, the weight ratio of CMC to OMMT being l：l, the reaction time being 6 h, and the reaction temperature being 60~C. The CMC/OMMT nanocomposite can be used as a potential adsorbent to remove CR dye from an aqueous solution.

A method of shadow puppet figure modeling and animation

To promote the development of the intangible cultural heritage of the world, shadow play, many studies have focused on shadow puppet modeling and interaction. Most of the shadow puppet figures are still imaginary,spread by ancients, or carved and painted by shadow puppet artists, without consideration of real dimensions or the appearance of human bodies. This study proposes an algorithm to transform 3D human models to 2D puppet figures for shadow puppets, including automatic location of feature points, automatic segmentation of 3D models, automatic extraction of 2D contours, automatic clothes matching, and animation. Experiment proves that more realistic and attractive figures and animations of the shadow puppet can be generated in real time with this algorithm.

Improved analysis of the rare decay processes of Λ_(b)

It is noted that in the new Particle Data Group(PDG) version the rare decays of the Λ_(b) baryon have been revised with more accuracy. The new results show that most of the existing theoretical results on the process Λ_(b)→Λ_(γ) Lgbare larger than those of experiments. With the improved higher-order light-cone distribution amplitudes of the Λ baryon, we reanalyze the process in the framework of light-cone quantum chromodynamics sum rules and the branching ratio is estimated to be Br (Λ_(b)→Λ_(γ))=(7.38-0.39+0.40)×10^(16), which is consistent with the new experimental result. Furthermore, another process Λ_(b)→Λl+l- is also analyzed in the same frame. The final branching ratio is calculated to be Br (Λ_(b)→Λl+l-)=1.20×10^(-6), which is in good accordance with the data from the PDG and other theoretical predictions.

A Unified Feature Representation and Learning Framework for 3D Shape

In conventional 3D shape retrieval and classification, they differentiate each other in their final stages. We propose a unified feature representation and learning framework for the instance-based shape retrieval and classification. Firstly, we render every 3D model in several directions and use the produced view-sets to represent the 3D models. In this way, both tasks can be tackled by measuring the distances between rendered views of 3D models. Secondly, we construct the viewsets as Symmetric positive definite matrices(SPDMs),which are points on a Riemannian manifold. Thus, the shape retrieval and classification tasks are reduced to a problem of measuring the distances between projected views and SPDMs. To solve this heterogeneous problem,we map them to a Hilbert space using a method of point-to-set matching. In this Hilbert space, the distances are surprisingly easy to calculate. Finally, we use a robust nearest-neighbor approach to unify the instancebased shape retrieval and classification. Our framework combines the state-of-the-art deep learning approaches with traditional mathematical optimization method, makes full use of both advantages, which is much more flexible than pure deep learning methods. Experimental results show the efficiency of our approach.

Connectedness of Invariant Sets of Graph-Directed IFS

In this paper, we study the connectedness of the invariant sets of a graph-directed iterated function system（IFS）. For a graph-directed IFS with N states, we construct N graphs. We prove that all the invariant sets are connected, if and only if all the N graphs are connected; in this case, the invariant sets are all locally connected and path connected. Our result extends the results on the connectedness of the self-similar sets.

Photoluminescence properties of Ce^(3+) doped YSiO_2N blue-emitting phosphors

Oxonitridosilicate phosphors with compositions of Y 1-xCexSiO2N （x=0-0. 1） were synthesized by a new synthetic route based on a solid state reaction among YSi, CeSi, SiO2 and Y203 compounds at high temperature and high pressure. The photohtminescence properties dependent on Ce concentration and temperature were investigated. Concentration quenching occurred when the doped Ce3＋ concentration was more than 3 tool.%. The emission spectra showed red shifts from 430 to 447 nm with the increased Ce concentration from 0.5 mol.% to 10 mol.%. The quenching temperature was estimated as ~380 K. The chromaticity coordinates of the excitation and emission spectra were stable against the temperature. This study showed these YSiO2N：Ce3＋ phosphors the potential applications in the three-RGB phosphor-converted white LEDs.
