Chaotic Sandpiper Optimization Based Virtual Machine Scheduling for Cyber-Physical Systems

Recently,with the growth of cyber physical systems(CPS),several applications have begun to deploy in the CPS for connecting the cyber space with the physical scale ***,the cloud computing(CC)enabled CPS offers huge processing and storage resources for CPS thatﬁnds helpful for a range of application *** the same time,with the massive development of applica-tions that exist in the CPS environment,the energy utilization of the cloud enabled CPS has gained signiﬁcant *** improving the energy effective-ness of the CC platform,virtualization technologies have been employed for resource management and the applications are executed via virtual machines(VMs).Since effective scheduling of resources acts as an important role in the design of cloud enabled CPS,this paper focuses on the design of chaotic sandpi-per optimization based VM scheduling(CSPO-VMS)technique for energy efﬁ-cient *** CSPO-VMS technique is utilized for searching for the optimum VM migration solution and it helps to choose an effective scheduling *** CSPO algorithm integrates the concepts of traditional SPO algorithm with the chaos theory,which substitutes the main parameter and combines it with the *** order to improve the process of determining the global optimum solutions and convergence rate of the SPO algorithm,the chaotic concept is included in the SPO *** CSPO-VMS technique also derives aﬁtness function to choose optimal scheduling strategy in the CPS *** order to demonstrate the enhanced performance of the CSPO-VMS technique,a wide range of simulations were carried out and the results are examined under varying *** simulation results ensured the improved performance of the CSPO-VMS technique over the recent methods interms of different measures.

Traditional fluorescence switching molecules achieving the state change between on and off states commonly based on UV irradiation. However, it is worth noting that UV irradiation is harmful to both the cancer cells and the normal cells. To achieve fluorescence switching under visible wavelength and avoid complicate molecular design, a fluorophore of 2,4,5,6-tetrakis(carbazol-9-yl)-1,3-dicyanobenzene(4Cz IPN) and a quencher of diarylethene(DAE) were physically incorporated within the biocompatible block copolymer poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)(PLGA-b-PEG) to form 4Cz IPNDAE nanoparticles(NPs) through flash nanoprecipitation(FNP). By using the FNP method, the NPs were prepared within milliseconds in a confined impingement jets dilution(CIJ-D) mixer. Quenching and recovery of fluorescence could achieve in the presence of DAE under 475 nm and 560 nm *** structure and fluorescent properties of the nanoparticles can be tuned by external conditions for their efficient fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET) in a kinetic stabilization process. This NPs formation process was further optimized by varying the dilution ratio, Reynolds number(Re) and polymer concentration to modulate the mixing and particle nucleation and growth process. The size and fluorescence switching properties of the NPs were systematically investigated in solution and in cellular uptake experiments. This work is anticipated to provide a simple and highly effective engineering strategy for the modulation of fluorescence switching nanoparticles and beneficial to its engineering application.

Assessment of Sentiment Analysis Using Information Gain Based Feature Selection Approach

Sentiment analysis is the process of determining the intention or emotion behind an *** subjective information from the context is analyzed by the sentimental analysis of the people’s *** data that is analyzed quantifies the reactions or sentiments and reveals the information’s contextual *** social behavior,sentiment can be thought of as a latent *** and comprehending this behavior could help us to better understand the social *** sentiments are domain specific,sentimental analysis in a specific context is critical in any real-world *** sentiment analysis is done in sentence,document level and feature *** work introduces a new Information Gain based Feature Selection(IGbFS)algorithm for selecting highly correlated features eliminating irrelevant and redundant *** textual sentiment analysis on sentence,document and feature levels are performed by exploiting the proposed Information Gain based Feature Selection *** analysis is done based on the datasets from Cornell and Kaggle *** compared to existing baseline classifiers,the suggested Information Gain based classifier resulted in an increased accuracy of 96%for document,97.4%for sentence and 98.5%for feature levels ***,the proposed method is tested with IMDB,Yelp 2013 and Yelp 2014 *** results for these high dimensional datasets give increased accuracy of 95%,96%and 98%for the proposed Information Gain based classifier for document,sentence and feature levels respectively compared to existing baseline classifiers.

Noncertainty-equivalent observer-based noncooperative target tracking control for unmanned aerial vehicles

Target tracking is a typical and challenging scenario that is required to be executed by unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) in operational environments. This work investigates the noncooperative target tracking control problem for UAVs. An integrated model is constructed by combining the dynamics of both the line-of-sight variables and the acceleration components. Particularly, the dynamics of the acceleration components, that contain unmeasurable states, characterize the relative motion between the noncooperative target and the UAV. To estimate these states, a globally convergent observer is developed by utilizing the noncertainty-equivalent(NCE) structure. With the integrated model and the NCE observer, an output-feedback target tracking control scheme is proposed using the dynamic surface control technique and the prescribed performance control method. Based on the Lyapunov approach, the relative spatial positions of the target and the UAV are proved to always stay within a specified operation region and ultimately converge to a small terminal region. Finally, simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed target tracking control scheme.

The production of carbon nanotubes from carbon dioxide:challenges and opportunities

Recent advances in the production of carbon nanotubes （CNTs） are reviewed with an emphasis on the use of carbon dioxide （CO2） as a sole source of carbon. Compared to the most widely used carbon precursors such as graphite, methane, acetylene, ethanol, ethylene, and coal-derived hydrocarbons, CO2 is competitively cheaper with relatively high carbon yield content. However, CNT synthesis from CO2 is a newly emerging technology, and hence it needs to be ex- plored further. A theoretical and analytical comparison of the cur- rently existing CNT-CO2 synthesis techniques is given including a review of some of the process parameters （i.e., temperature, pres- sure, catalyst, etc.） that affect the CO2 reduction rate. Such analysis indicates that there is still a fundamental need to further explore the following aspects so as to realize the full potential of CO2 based CNT technology：（1） the CNT-CO2 synthesis and formation mechanism, （2） catalytic effects of transitional metals and mechanisms, （3） uti- lization of metallocenes in the CNT-CO2 reactions, （4） applicability of ferrite-organometallic compounds in the CNT-CO2 synthesis reactions, and （5） the effects of process parameters such as temperature, etc.

Multi-modal knowledge graph inference via media convergence and logic rule

This study investigates the influence of using ground palm oil fuel ash(G-POFA) from 10%-30% as cement replacement(by weight) on the cement mortar's pH under various curing conditions. These findings were supplemented by thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA). Moreover, the resistance of G-POFA blended cement mortars to water absorption and sorptivity was determined. Further, the k-value test was carried out to explain the pozzolanic and filler behavior of G-POFA and to support the results obtained from TGA. It was found that there was no significant impact of several curing conditions on the pH of mortars. The mortar with 10% G-POFA in replacement of cement(G-POFA-10) exhibited the best resistance against water absorption and sorptivity.

Simulation and experiment investigations on fabrication of Fe-based amorphous powders by a novel atomization process equipped with assisted gas nozzles

Based on computational fluid dynamics method,the effect of atomization gas pressure on the atomization efficiency of Laval nozzle was studied,and then a discrete phase model was established and combined with industrial trials to study the effect of a new type of assisted gas nozzles(AGNs)on powder size distribution and amorphous powder *** results show that increasing the atomization pressure can effectively improve the gas velocity for the Laval nozzle;however,it will decrease the aspiration pressure,and the optimal atomization pressure is 2.0 *** with this,after the application of AGNs with the inlet velocity of 200 m s^(-1),assisted gas jet can increase the velocity of overall droplets in the break-up and solidification area by 40 m s^(-1) and the maximum cooling rate is increased from 1.9×10^(4) to 2.3×10^(4) K s^(-1).The predicted particle behavior is demonstrated by the industrial trails,that is,after the application of AGNs,the median diameter of powders d50 is decreased from 28.42 to 25.56 lm,the sphericity is increased from 0.874 to 0.927,the fraction of amorphous powders is increased from 90.4% to 99.4%,and only the coercivity is increased slightly due to the accumulation of internal *** is illustrated that the AGNs can improve the yield of fine amorphous powders,which is beneficial to providing high-performance raw powders for additive manufacturing technology.

Application of g-C_(3)N_(4)/sol-gel nanocomposite on AM60B magnesium alloy and investigation of its properties
