With the rapid development of flexible wearable electronics,the demand for stretchable energy storage devices has *** this work,a novel gradient-layered architecture was design based on single-pore hollow lignin nanospheres(HLNPs)-intercalated two-dimensional transition metal carbide(Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene)for fabricating highly stretchable and durable *** depositing and inserting HLNPs in the MXene layers with a bottom-up decreasing gradient,a multilayered porous MXene structure with smooth ion channels was constructed by reducing the overstacking of MXene ***,the micro-chamber architecture of thin-walled lignin nanospheres effectively extended the contact area between lignin and MXene to improve ion and electron accessibility,thus better utilizing the pseudocapacitive property of *** these strategies effectively enhanced the capacitive performance of the *** addition,HLNPs,which acted as a protective phase for MXene layer,enhanced mechanical properties of the wrinkled stretchable electrodes by releasing stress through slip and deformation during the stretch-release cycling and greatly improved the structural integrity and capacitive stability of the *** electrodes and symmetric flexible all-solid-state supercapacitors capable of enduring 600%uniaxial tensile strain were developed with high specific capacitances of 1273 mF cm^(−2)(241 F g^(−1))and 514 mF cm^(−2)(95 F g^(−1)),***,their capacitances were well preserved after 1000 times of 600%stretch-release *** study showcased new possibilities of incorporating biobased lignin nanospheres in energy storage devices to fabricate stretchable devices leveraging synergies among various two-dimensional nanomaterials.

Modal parameters can accurately characterize the structural dynamic properties and assess the physical state of the ***,it is particularly signiﬁcant to identify the structural modal parameters according to the monitoring data information in the structural health monitoring(SHM)system,so as to provide a scientiﬁc basis for structural damage identiﬁcation and dynamic model modiﬁ*** view of this,this paper reviews methods for identifying structural modal parameters under environmental excitation and brieﬂy describes how to identify structural damages based on the derived modal *** paper primarily introduces data-driven modal parameter recognition methods(e.g.,time-domain,frequency-domain,and time-frequency-domain methods,etc.),brieﬂy describes damage identiﬁcation methods based on the variations of modal parameters(e.g.,natural frequency,modal shapes,and curvature modal shapes,etc.)and modal validation methods(e.g.,Stability Diagram and Modal Assurance Criterion,etc.).The current status of the application of artiﬁcial intelligence(AI)methods in the direction of modal parameter recognition and damage identiﬁcation is further *** on the pre-vious analysis,the main development trends of structural modal parameter recognition and damage identiﬁcation methods are given to provide scientiﬁc references for the optimized design and functional upgrading of SHM systems.

The separation-of-variable(SOV)methods,such as the improved SOV method,the variational SOV method,and the extended SOV method,have been proposed by the present authors and coworkers to obtain the closed-form analytical solutions for free vibration and eigenbuckling of rectangular plates and circular cylindrical *** taking the free vibration of rectangular thin plates as an example,this work presents the theoretical framework of the SOV methods in an instructive way,and the bisection–based solution procedures for a group of nonlinear eigenvalue ***,the explicit equations of nodal lines of the SOV methods are presented,and the relations of nodal line patterns and frequency orders are *** is concluded that the highly accurate SOV methods have the same accuracy for all frequencies,the mode shapes about repeated frequencies can also be precisely captured,and the SOV methods do not have the problem of missing roots as well.

The protein based binding material is from natural products, which is nontoxic and recyclable. This kind of green binder is earnestly needed by aluminum casting products. The new protein based core possesses higher strength and easier shakeout. Its tensile strength is close to that of common resin sands. The micro mechanism of protein binder was investigated by using infrared spectrum, chemical element analysis, SEM and thermal lost mass analysis.

A wavelet method for solving strongly nonlinear boundary value problems is described, which has been demonstrated early to have a convergence rate of order 4, almost independent of the nonlinear intensity of the equations. By using such a method, we study the bending problem of a circular plate with arbitrary large deflection. As the deflection increases, the bending behavior usually exhibits a so-called plate-to-membrane transition. Capturing such a transition has ever frustrated researchers for decades. However, without introducing any addi- tional treatment, we show in this study that the proposed wavelet solutions can naturally cover the plate-membrane transition region as the plate deflection increases. In addition, the high accuracy and efficiency of the wavelet method in solving strongly nonlinear problems is numerically confirmed, and applicable scopes for the linear, the membrane and the yon Karman plate theories are identified with respect to the large deformation bending of circular plates.

Formation Behavior of 14H Long Period Stacking Ordered Structure in Mg–Y–Zn Cast Alloys with Different α-Mg Fractions

Phase compositions and microstructure evolutions of three Mg-Y-Zn cast alloys during isothermal annealing at 773 K have been systematically investigated to clarify the formation behavior of 14 H long period stacking ordered（LPSO） structure from α-Mg *** annealed microstructure characteristics indicate that the 18 R phase is thermal stable in Mg86Y8Zn6 alloy where 18 R serves as matrix,and 14 H lamellar phase only forms within tiny α-Mg slices（less than 1% for volume fraction）.The α-Mg grains in Mg88Y8Zn4 and Mg89Y8Zn3 alloys exhibit cellular shape,and 14 H phase forms and develops into lamellar shape in these cellular grains after *** results suggest that the presence of α-Mg grains is a requirement for the generation of 14 H *** nucleation and growth rates of 14 H lamellas are accelerated in α-Mg grains with higher concentrations of stacking faults and solute ***,the 14 H lamellas are parallel to adjacent 18 R plates in Mg86Y8Zn6 alloy,but the 14 H phase precipitated in cellularα-Mg grains of Mg88Y8Zn4 and Mg89Y8Zn3 alloys exhibits random orientation relationship with surrounding 18 R phase,indicating that the orientation relationship between 14 H and 18 R phases depends on the relationship between α-Mg grains and 18 R phase.

Mechanical and microstructural characterization of additive manufactured Inconel 718 alloy by selective laser melting and laser metal deposition

The direct comparison of the microstructure and tensile properties of Inconel 718 fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) or laser metal deposition (LMD) has been carried out. In the as-built state, LMD-fabricated specimens show lower tensile yield strength and fracture elongation than SLM-fabricated specimens due to the coarser solidification microstructure, including grains, cellular dendrites and Laves phases. This is mainly because the cooling rate of the LMD process is 2 to 3 orders lower than that of the SLM process. Upon the same heat treatment, both yield strengths of SLMand LMD-fabricated specimens are enhanced significantly. Notably, LMD-fabricated specimens exhibit simultaneous improvement in the strength and ductility, which is mainly attributed to the presence of small granular Laves phases and uniformly distributed nanoscale c00 strengthening phases. The results could serve as a guidance for selecting suitable postheat treatment routes for specific additive manufacturing process to attain excellent strength-ductility synergy.

In order to apply classical micromechanics in predicting the effective prop- erties of nanocomposites incorporating interface energy, a concept of equivalent inclusion （EI） is usually adopted. The properties of EI are obtained by embedding a single inclusion with the interface into an infinite matrix. However, whether such an EI is universal for different micromechanics-based methods is rarely discussed in the literature. In this pa- per, the interface energy theory is used to study the applicability of the above mentioned EI. It is found that some elastic properties of the EI are related only to the properties of the inclusion and the interface, whereas others are also related to the properties of the matrix. The former properties of the EI can be applied to both the classical Mori-Tanaka method （MTM） and the generalized self-consistent method （GSCM）. However, the latter can be applied only to the MTM. Two kinds of new EIs are proposed for the GSCM and used to estimate the effective mechanical properties of nanocomposites.

Based upon the Hellinger-Reissner (H-R) mixed variational principle for three-dimensional elastic bodies, the modified H-R mixed variational theorem for magnetoelectroelastic bodies was established. The state-vector equation of magnetoelectroelastic plates was derived from the proposed theorem by performing the variational operations. To lay a theoretical basis of the semi-analytical solution applied with the magnetoelectroelastic plates, the state-vector equation for the discrete element in plane was proposed through the use of the proposed principle. Finally, it is pointed out that the modified H-R mixed variational principle for pure elastic, single piezoelectric or single piezomagnetic bodies are the special cases of the present variational theorem.
