Separating method and dynamic processes of Nano-Al_(13)

In order to investigate the characteristics of pure Nano-Al_(13) ,Nano-Al_(13) was separated and purified from a series of poly-aluminum chloride(PAC)solutions which had the same Al_(13) percentage but different total Al concentrations,by using column chromatography,ethanol-acetone resolving and SO_(4)^(2−)/Ba^(2+)*** Al_(13) species yield was characterized by Al-ferron timed complexation spectropho-tometry and 27Al-NMR(nuclear magnetic resonance).The coagulation efficiency of Nano-Al_(13) ,PAC and AlCl_(3) in synthetic water was also investigated by Jar *** dynamic process and aggregation state of kaolin suspensions coagulating with Nano-Al_(13) ,PAC and AlC_(13) were similarly investigated using a photometric dispersion analyzer 2000(PDA2000).The experimental results indicated that the ethanol-acetone resolving method was simple and could separate the PAC solution at different concentrations,while column chromatography could separate PAC solutions at low *** SO_(4)^(2−)/Ba^(2+)displacement method could separate PAC solutions at high ***,extra inorganic cation and anion could be added in the solution during *** coagulation efficiency and dynamic experimental results showed that Nano-Al_(13) with high positive-charged species was effective in removing turbidity and *** dynamic process results showed that Nano-Al_(13) also had the best recovery capability after shearing compared with PAC and AlCl3 because the Nano-Al_(13) conformation is more effective in charge neutralization.

Rare earth modified Ni-Si catalysts for hydrogen production from methane decomposition

Different rare earth （RE=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Y） and Cu modified nickel catalysts for hydrogen production from meth-ane decomposition were synthesized by a sol-gel process and method. The catalysts were characterized or analyzed through Brumauer-Emmett-Teller （BET）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM） techniques. And the hydrogen production performance was also evaluated by a fixed-bed and micro-reaction technique with CH4→C＋H2 as a probe reaction. The results showed that rare earth modification had played a great role for nickel catalysts, for example, smaller nickel particles, good thermal stability, high activity, etc. La was the best additive among rare earth modification. The SEM of rare earth modified catalysts showed ordered flower-like structure and rare earth modification made the nickel particles move to the surface of catalysts. In addition, the SEM of nano-carbons was also changed by rare earth modification with long, narrow nano-carbon fibers or tubes obtained. Solid carbon formation was prevented by rare earth modification.

Effect of commercial AB_5 alloy addition on the electrochemical properties of Ml-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys

A commercial AB5 hydrogen storage alloy was used as an additive to improve the electrochemical properties of Ml-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys. The effect of AB5 alloy addition on the phase structure, charge/discharge characteristics, and electrochemical kinetics of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 alloy was investigated. The maximum discharge capacity of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 ＋ 4 wt.% AB5 electrode reaches 406 mAh/g. The anodic polarization, cyclic voltammetry, and potential step discharge experiments show that the electrochemical kinetics of the electrode with additives was promoted, with the LaNi5 phase of AB5 alloy acting as electro-catalytic sites in the electrode alloy. The high-rate dischargeability of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 ＋ 4 wt.% AB5 alloy electrode at 1100 mA/g reaches 60.9%, which is 9.4% higher than that of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 alloy electrode. The cycling stability of the electrode with 4 wt.% AB5 alloy has also been improved

Influence of Current Density on the Photocatalytic Activity of Nd:TiO_(2) Coatings

The Nd:TiO_(2 )PEO coatings were formed in a phosphate-based electrolyte with the addition of Nd_(2)O_(3 )under the current density of 150,200,250 and 300 m A/cm^(2).SEM results showed that the micropores decreased on quantity and increased on scale with the increasing current *** results revealed that the roughness of the coatings increased with the increasing current *** and composition analysis showed that the Nd:TiO_(2) coatings were mainly composed of anatase and rutile *** the anatase phase content has reached the maximum value at the current density of 250 m A/cm^(2).XPS results indicated that Ti2p spin-orbit components of the Nd:TiO_(2) coatings are shifted towards higher binding energy,compared with the pure TiO_(2) coating,suggesting that some of the Nd^(3+)ions are combined with TiO_(2) lattice and led to *** test showed that the photocatalytic activity of Nd:TiO_(2) coatings varied in the same pattern with the anatase content variation in Nd:TiO_(2) *** photocatalytic experiment results show that the photocatalytic activity of Nd:TiO_(2) coatings can be greatly enhanced with moderate amount of Nd^(3+).However,excessive amount of Nd^(3+)does not have an effective impact on the photoctalytic activity improvement.

An important issue for deep learning models is the acquisition of training of *** abundant data from a real production environment for training,deep learning models would not be as widely used as they are ***,the cost of obtaining abundant real-world environment is high,especially for underwater *** is more straightforward to simulate data that is closed to that from real *** this paper,a simple and easy symmetric learning data augmentation model(SLDAM)is proposed for underwater target radiate-noise data expansion and *** SLDAM,taking the optimal classifier of an initial dataset as the discriminator,makes use of the structure of the classifier to construct a symmetric generator based on antagonistic *** generates data similar to the initial dataset that can be used to supplement training data *** model has taken into consideration feature loss and sample loss function in model training,and is able to reduce the dependence of the generation and expansion on the feature *** verified that the SLDAM is able to data expansion with low calculation *** results showed that the SLDAM is able to generate new data without compromising data recognition accuracy,for practical application in a production environment.

By the generalized Kelvin creep model,rheological characteristics of deep softrock and long-term mechanical behaviors of support structures were *** characteristics of support structures under different lining circumstanceswere also analyzed on the basis of deducing the relationship between the generalizedKelvin creep model and implicit creep equations in ANSYS FEM *** resultsshow that high stress of deep tunnels is the main factor in creep damage;the surroundingrock's deformation binding effect due to lining increases as the thickness increases but theeffect becomes very weak when it increases to a certain value;contact pressure on thelining decreases as its thickness decreases.

Recyclable Joule heated low shrinkage carbon nanofiber aerogels for microscale oil/water separation

Aerogels have shown great potential as oil adsorbents but their application to the removal of microscale oil from water and their recycling remains *** present work proposed a freeze-shaping method for fabricating carbon nanofiber aerogels(CNFAs)based on the direct use of one-dimensional(1D)carbon nanofibers(CNF)rather than carbonization of polymer *** technique greatly reduces volume shrinkage and increases the three-dimensional(3D)structural stability of the *** nanotubes(CNT)and gelatinized starch were incorporated in these aerogels as a conductive enhancement agent and binder,respectively,forming a“vine(CNT)-wrapped tree(CNF)”structure that improved mechanical and Joule-heating *** effects of glutaraldehyde added to aerogels as a crosslinking agent on mechanical properties and microstructure were also systematically *** optimized CNFAs combined with low density,high porosity,good elasticity,and superior Joule-heating efficiency along with suitable adsorption capacity,excellent selectivity,and cycling *** material was able to selectively remove 87%and 92%of microscale acetone and dimethylformamide(DMF),respectively,from the water after nine cycles of adsorption and *** present work demonstrates a novel means of designing and fabricating a low shrinkage CNFA with outstanding Joule-heating performance having potential practical applications in the remediation of organic pollution.

Diffusion Models for Solid-state Homogenization of Dendrite Segregation

New mathematical diffusion models for solid state homogenization of dendrite segregation were presented to calculate the concentration evolution of alloying elements during solid-state homogenization of dendrite segregation in any cross section of a three-dimensional dendrite system. With mathematical accumulation, all the individual concentration profiles of every dendrite can be accumulated to form a concentration equation, which may be required by sine model or not. Then diffusion homogenization processes for any cross sections of dendrites in solid state can be calculated from the equation. The only assumption of the new models was that any individual concentration profile in a dendrite system could be simulated by Gauss equation of Fick-2 law.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs) have been attracting great attentions and widely been exploited due to the abundant sodium/potassium ***,the preparation of high-powered anode materials for SIBs/PIBs plays a decisive role for the commercial applications of SIBs/PIBs in the *** selenides are a class of potential anode materials for SIBs/PIBs because of their small band gap and high electrical *** this work,MnSe and ReS_(2) core-shell nanowires connecting by polydopamine derived carbon nanotube(MnSe@NC@ReS_(2)) have been successfully synthesized from growing ReS_(2) nanosheets array on the surface of MnSe@NC nano wires,which present excellent Na^(+)/K^(+) storage *** applied as SIBs anode,the specific capacity of 300 mAh·g^(-1) was maintwined after 400 cycles at the current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1).Besides,it could also keep 120 mAh·g^(-1) specific capacity after 900 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(-1) for the anode of *** heterogeneous engineering and one-dimensional-two-dimensional(1D-2D) hybrid strategies could provide an ideal strategy for the synthesis of new hetero-structured anode materials with outstanding battery performance for SIBs and PIBs.
