This is a survey of local and global classification results concerning Dupin hypersurfaces in S^(n)(or R^(n))that have been obtained in the context of Lie sphere *** emphasis is on results that relate Dupin hypersurfaces to isoparametric hypersurfaces in *** with these classification results,many important concepts from Lie sphere geometry,such as curvature spheres,Lie curvatures,and Legendre lifts of submanifolds of S^(n)(or R^(n)),are described in *** paper also contains several important constructions of Dupin hypersurfaces with certain special properties.

The increasing penetration of renewable energy resources with highly fluctuating outputs has placed increasing concern on the accuracy and timeliness of electric power system state estimation(SE).Meanwhile,we note that only a fraction of system states fluctuate at the millisecond level and require to be *** such,refreshing only those states with significant variation would enhance the computational efficiency of SE and make fast-continuous update of states ***,this is difficult to achieve with conventional SE methods,which generally refresh states of the entire system every 4–5 *** this context,we propose a local hybrid linear SE framework using stream processing,in which synchronized measurements received from phasor measurement units(PMUs),and trigger/timingmode measurements received from remote terminal units(RTUs)are used to update the associated local ***,the measurement update process efficiency and timeliness are enhanced by proposing a trigger measurement-based fast dynamic partitioning algorithm for determining the areas of the system with states requiring *** particular,non-iterative hybrid linear formulations with both RTUs and PMUs are employed to solve the local SE *** timeliness,accuracy,and computational efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated by extensive simulations based on IEEE 118-,300-,and 2383-bus systems.

Purpose:By methodologically reviewing the literature on Technology-Assisted Reading Instruction(TARI)for English Language Learners(ELLs)in K-12 settings,this study aims to advance the knowledge of TARI research and guide future research ***/Approach/Methods:This study examines 32 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2000 and *** article was analyzed for research objectives,reading skills,learner demographics and contexts,theoretical frameworks,research designs,and ***:A review of the literature reveals a strong focus on evaluating the efficacy of TARI through summative assessments,but limited attention to learners'literacy practices and interactive engagement in digital ***,there is a marked lack of alternative approaches to assessing the effectiveness of technology in promoting ELLs'reading progression and a continued emphasis on developing traditional literacy over multimodal *** can enhance reading motivation,foster collaborative learning,provide scaffolding,improve reading performance,andexpand semiotic ***/Value:As one of the first comprehensive methodological reviews of TARl,this study elucidates ELL reading education in the era of *** have implications for technology-mediated education,which expanded rapidly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a sustainable mode of travel,carpooling is an effective solution to environmental and energy problems,but it has not been fully *** research on carpooling attitudes,especially for college students,still needs to be *** response to this problem,this paper aims to investigate the effect of personal attributes,travel attributes,attitude attributes and other attributes of students on carpooling attitudes in *** collect the data,an online questionnaire survey was implemented at Shenzhen University,and 514 students *** on the samples,the multinomial logit model is used to explore the contribution of all *** model results showed that personal attributes such as sex and age had no significant effect on the attitude of college students towards *** safety of carpooling and its high cost make college students have a neutral attitude towards *** most concerning factor for college students in carpooling is *** findings can provide valuable suggestions for measures to be taken in response to different attributes affecting students’attitudes and are particularly important for the university and government to make optimal decisions to motivate students to select carpooling.

To achieve carbon neutrality,the Chinese government needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sources and drivers of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,particularly at the county *** County in eastern China is a typical example of an industrial transformation from quarrying to a low-carbon *** study analyzed the decoupling types and structural characteristics of GHG emissions and the driving factors of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in the Anji from 2006 to 2019,and explored the differences between countylevel and provincial-level or city-level *** was observed that energy-related activities are the main source of GHG emissions in Anji and that economic development is the driving factor behind the increasing CO_(2)***,industrial transformation and upgradation coupled with the alternative use of clean energy limit the growth of GHG *** study details the GHG emissions of county during the industrial transformation stage and provides corresponding policy recommendations for county governments.

Photodynamic therapy（PDT）,with high spatiotemporal selectivity,minimal side effects and less drug resistance,has emerged as a promising approach for the treatment of ***,inadequate penetration depth and poor efficacy seriously restrict its practical *** address these challenges,we developed a combined therapy platform（RENP@C/D-FA） based on rare-earth-doped nanoparticles（RENPs） with a structure of NaErF4:Tm（0.5%）@NaYF4,on which photosensitizer Ce6（chlorin e6） and chemo-therapeutic drug（DOX）(doxorubicin) were loaded by encapsulating with an amphiphilic polymer distearoyl phosphatidylethanolamine-polyethylene glycol-folic acid（DSPE-PEG-FA）.RENPs with NaErF4as the matrix possess multiple excitation/emission peaks,enabling activation of PDT under near-infrared-Ⅱb（NIR-Ⅱb,1500-1700 nm） excitation and luminescence imaging in NIR-Ⅱb region by absorbing 808 nm near-infrared ***,DOX can be selectively released in the acidic microenvironment of *** from the tumor targeting capability of folic acid,this platform can successfully ablate tumor cells and inhibit tumor growth by combining PDT and *** innovative approach holds great promise as a powerful tool for cancer treatment,showing the potential to revolutionize PDT.

Purpose Educational technology(“EdTech”)served a pivotal role in keeping schools functioning during the beginning of the COVID-19 *** is known about EdTech leaders’roles in shaping this *** study explores EdTech leaders’perspectives and backgrounds,their response to the pandemic,how they envision their roles as educators,and their perspectives about how technology facilitates educational ***/Approach/Methods This study uses a qualitative,phenomenological approach to understand how 11 EdTech leaders experienced the *** were recruited for interviews in summer 2021 via purposive sampling to include diverse backgrounds and *** were analyzed *** The findings show that a four-category typology can be used to describe EdTech leaders’diverse backgrounds and *** emphasized equity and open collaboration in their pandemic responses,by expanding access to their tools and adapting their products as users’needs *** leaders anticipate streamlined user experiences,improvements in online learning,and increased adoption of artificial intelligence and simulated learning ***/Value This study addresses a gap in the research concerning EdTech leaders’perspectives on their efforts to support educators and their experiences during the *** hope this study sparks additional research on EdTech leaders’experiences and roles in education.
