The message blinding method is the most efficient and secure countermeasure against first-order differential power analysis(DPA).Although cross correlation attacks(CCAs) were given for defeating message blinding methods,however searching for correlation points is difficult for noise,misalignment in practical *** this paper,we propose an optimized cross correlation power attack for message blinding exponentiation *** attack method can select the more correlative power points of share one operation in the modular multiplication by comparing variances between correlation *** we demonstrate that the attack method is more efficient in experiments with hardware implementation of RSA on a crypto chip *** addition to the proposed CCA method can recovery all 1024 bits secret key and recognition rate increases to 100%even when the recorded signals are noisy.

A tunable dual-narrowband pass-band filter is designed. A one-dimensional photonic crystal （1D PC） is comprised of alternate dielectric layer and vacuum layer. Two quantum wells （QWs） as defects can be constructed by sandwiching two plasma slabs symmetrically in the 1D PC, and a dual-narrowband pass-band filter is formed. The conventional finite- difference time-domain （FDTD） method and piecewise linear current density recursive convolution （PLCDRC）-FDTD method are applied to the dielectric and plasma, respectively. The simulation results illustrate that the dual-narrowband frequencies can be tuned by changing the plasma frequency. The pass band interval and the half-power bandwidths （-3-dB band widths） are related to the space interval between two QWs.

Given a distribution of pebbles on the vertices of a connected graph G, a pebbling move on G consists of taking two pebbles off one vertex and placing one on an adjacent vertex. The pebbling number f（G） is the smallest number m such that for every distribution of m pebbles and every vertex v, a pebble can be moved to v. A graph G is said to have the 2-pebbling property if for any distribution with more than 2f（G） - q pebbles, where q is the number of vertices with at least one pebble, it is possible, using pebbling moves, to get two pebbles to any vertex. Snevily conjectured that G（s, t） has the 2- pebbling property, where G（s, t） is a bipartite graph with partite sets of size s and t （s 〉 t）. Similarly, the ~,pebbling number fl（G） is the smallest number m such that for every distribution of m pebbles and every vertex v, ~ pebbles can be moved to v. To progressively provide the competitive rate-distortion performance for aerial imagery,a quantized block compressive sensing(QBCS) framework is presented,which incorporates two measurement-side control parameters:measurement subrate(S) and quantization depth(D).By learning how different parameter combinations may affect the quality-bitrate characteristics of aerial images,two parameter allocation models are derived between a bitrate budget and its appropriate *** on the corresponding allocation models,a model-guided image coding method is proposed to pre-determine the appropriate(S,D) combination for acquiring an aerial image via *** data-driven experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve near-optimal quality-bitrate performance under the QBCS framework.

A continuous differentiable wavelet threshold function for speech enhancement

Enhanced speech based on the traditional wavelet threshold function had auditory oscillation distortion and the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). In order to solve these problems, a new continuous differentiable threshold function for speech enhancement was presented. Firstly, the function adopted narrow threshold areas, preserved the smaller signal speech, and improved the speech quality; secondly, based on the properties of the continuous differentiable and non-fixed deviation, each area function was attained gradually by using the method of mathematical derivation. It ensured that enhanced speech was continuous and smooth; it removed the auditory oscillation distortion; finally, combined with the Bark wavelet packets, it further improved human auditory perception. Experimental results show that the segmental SNR and PESQ (perceptual evaluation of speech quality) of the enhanced speech using this method increase effectively, compared with the existing speech enhancement algorithms based on wavelet threshold.

It is a well-known fact that the no-cloning theorem forbids the creation of identical copies of an arbitrary unknown quantum state. In other words, there does not exist a quantum cloning machine that can clone all quantum states. However, it is possible to clone given quantum states under certain conditions, for instance, k distinct pure states ｜ψ1〉, ｜ψ2）,....,｜ψk） can be cloned simultaneously if and only if they are orthogonal. This paper discusses the existence and construction of simultaneous cloning machines for mixed states. It is proved that k distinct mixed states Pl,P2 Pk of the n-dimensional quantum system Cn can be cloned simultaneously, that is, there exists a quantum channel Ф on .Mn ⊙ Mn and a state ∑ in Mn, such that Ф（ρi ⊙∑） = ρi ⊙ ρi for all i, if and only if ρiρj = 0 （i ≠j）. Also, the constructing procedure of the desired simultaneous cloning machine is given.

This work proposes a robust fault detection and isolation scheme for discrete-time systems subject to actuator faults,in which a bank of H_/H∞ fault detection unknown input observers(UIOs) and a zonotopic threshold analysis strategy are considered. In observer design, finite-frequency H_ index based on the generalized Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov lemma and H∞ technique are utilized to evaluate worst-case fault sensitivity and disturbance attenuation performance, respectively. The proposed H_/H∞ fault detection observers are designed to be insensitive to the corresponding actuator fault only, but sensitive to ***, to overcome the weakness of predefining threshold for FDI decision-making, this work proposes a zonotopic threshold analysis method to evaluate the generated residuals. The FDI decision-making relies on the evaluation with a dynamical zonotopic threshold. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to show the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

In a recent work [Quantum Inf. Process 12 （2013） 1077], a multi-user protocol of quantum private comparison of equality （QPCE） is presented. Here we point out that if we relax the constraint of a semi-honest third party, the private information of the users will be totally leaked out to the third party. A special attack is demonstrated in detail. Furthermore, a possible improvement is proposed, which makes the protocol secure against this kind of attack.

Novel fuzzy uncertainty modeling for land cover classification based on clustering analysis

It is well known that there is a degree of fuzzy uncertainty in land cover classification using remote sensing (RS) images. In this article, we propose a novel fuzzy uncertainty modeling algorithm for representing the features of land cover patterns, and present an adaptive interval type-2 fuzzy clustering method. The proposed fuzzy uncertainty modeling method is performed in two main phases. First, the segmentation units of the input multi-spectral RS image data are subjected to objectbased interval-valued symbolic modeling. As a result, features for each land cover type are represented in the form of an intervalvalued symbolic vector, which describes the intra-class uncertainty better than the source data and improves the separability between different classes. Second, interval type-2 fuzzy sets are generated for each cluster based on the distance metric of the interval-valued vectors. This step characterizes the inter-class high-order fuzzy uncertainty and improves the classification accuracy. To demonstrate the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed approach, extensive experiments are conducted on two multispectral RS image datasets from regions with complex land cover characteristics, and the results are compared with those given by well-known fuzzy and conventional clustering algorithms.
