This paper proposes a simple scheme for the lag synchronization and the parameter identification of fractional order chaotic systems based on the new stability theory. The lag synchronization is achieved and the unknown parameters are identified by using the adaptive lag laws. Moreover, the scheme is analytical and is simple to implement in practice. The well-known fractional order chaotic L/i system is used to illustrate the validity of this theoretic method.

A novel material of ZrMnMo3012 with negative thermal expansion is presented. The phase transition temperature and coemcient of thermal expansion （CTE） are investigated by temperature-dependent x-ray diffraction and Raman spectra. It is shown that ZrMnMo3012 adopts monoclinic structure with space group P21/a （No. 14） from 298 to 358K and transforms to orthorhombic with space group Pnma （No. 62） above 363K. The linear CTE obtained from the results of XRD refinement is -2.80 × 10-6 K-1 from 363 to 873 K. The CTE of the bulk cylinder ceramic measured by a thermal dilatometer is -4.7× 10-6 K-1 from 373 to 773K approximatively.

Graphene platelets(GPLs)-reinforced metal foam structures enhance the mechanical properties while maintaining the lightweight characteristics of metal foams. Further bonding piezoelectric actuator and sensor layers on the surfaces of GPLs-reinforced metal foam beams enables active vibration control, greatly expanding their applications in the aerospace industry. For the first time, this paper investigates the vibration characteristics and active vibration control of GPLs-reinforced metal foam beams with surfacebonded piezoelectric layers. The constant velocity feedback scheme is used to design the closed-loop controller including piezoelectric actuators and sensors. The effects of the GPLs on the linear and nonlinear free vibrations of the beams are numerically *** Newmark-β method combined with Newton's iteration technique is used to calculate the nonlinear responses of the beams under different load forms including harmonic loads,impact loads, and moving loads. Additionally, special attention is given to the vibration reduction performance of the velocity feedback control on the responses of the beam.

The positive parity states in even-even 152-166 Dy are studied systematically in the framework of the interacting boson model(IBM). A cubic term, L = 3, has been added to the Hamiltonian in order to produce the effect of triaxiality on the energy spectrum. The potential energy surfaces as a function of β and γ deformation parameters,for all isotopes have been produced. Energy levels and reduced electric quadrupole transition probabilities are calculated in framework of IBM with Cubic term(IBMC). All results are compared with available experimental data. It is found that these isotopes can be described by a schematic Hamiltonian in transition from U(5)(vibration) to SU(3)(rotation)dynamic symmetry.

In this work, 25 3-O-β-chacotriosyl ursolic acid derivatives were employed to achieve the highly reliable and predictive 3 D-QSAR models by Co MFA and Co MSIA methods, respectively. The predictive capabilities of two constructed CoMFA and CoMSIA models were verified by the leave-one-out cross-validation method. The results showed that the cross-validated coefficient（q2） and non-cross-validated coefficient（R2） were 0.559, 0.981 in the CoMFA model and 0.696, 0.978 in the CoM SIA model, respectively, which suggests that these two models are robust and have good exterior predictive capabilities. Furthermore, based on the contour maps information of two models, ten novel inhibitors with higher inhibitory potency were designed, and the quantum chemical calculation of density functional theory（DFT） was performed to investigate the mechanism why the designed molecules have stronger inhibitory activity than the lead compound. The calculations show that the C-50 position of lead compound is a key active site for the enhancement of inhibitory activity, and it should be introduced into the large electron withdrawing group, which would result in generating potent and selective H5 N1 entry inhibitors. We expect that the results in this paper could provide important information to develop new potent H5 N1 entry inhibitors.

A 3D simulation using Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics（CPFD） methods was used to calculate coal combustion in a 75 t/h industrial-scale circulating fluidized bed（CFB） *** characteristics,gas-solid flow characteristics,and gaseous pollutant emissions of CFB boilers from combustion ignition to stable operation were systematically evaluated in this *** show that the temperature distribution is relatively uniform throughout the *** the combustion process unfolds within the boiler,the gas composition curve strikingly portrays the inverse correlation between CO2and *** the combustion reaction progresses,it becomes evident that the concentration of CO2progressively increases,while the concentration of O2concurrently *** inverse relationship underscores the fundamental combustion reaction,where carbon-based fuels react with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and release ***,a comprehensive analysis has revealed that,from ignition to stable combustion,both nitric oxide（NO） and sulfur dioxide（SO2） emissions exhibit a declining *** reduction in pollutant generation is attributed to the improvement in combustion *** complete combustion leads to lower levels of unburned hydrocarbons,which are prone to NO ***,the sulfur content in the fuel is more efficiently oxidized to sulfur trioxide（SO3） or bound in sulfates,reducing *** steady state in the simulation,the SO2mass flow rate varies significantly with the furnace height,gradually increasing from 0.07 kg·s-1at 4 m at the bottom of the furnace to a peak of 0.078 kg·s-1at 8 m in the center,and then decreasing to 0.06 kg·s-1at 20m at the top of the furnace.

To provide hints for the design of new acetylcholinesterase（ACh E） inhibitors with higher potency and specificity, the binding modes of novel heterodimers comprised of donepezil and huperzine A fragments with ACh E were explored by employing the docking simulations. The results show that the binding mode of S-17b（the most potent inhibitor in Ref. 2, i.e., Bioorg. Med. Chem. 2013, 21, 676-683） is clearly different from that of donepezil, while the binding modes of other heterodimers in Ref. 2 are the same as that of donepezil. In addition, based on the binding mode and structure modification of S-17 b, two novel inhibitors（S-17b1 and S-17bb1） with much higher inhibitory potency than S-17 b were obtained. Our design strategy was to replace the hupyridone moiety of S-17 b with the bulky group, and to replace the dimethoxyindanone moiety of S-17 b with more hydrophobic and bulky group with a highly positive charge, which would result in generating potent and selective AChE inhibitors.
