Uncertainty and disturbance estimator-based model predictive control for wet flue gas desulphurization system

Wet flue gas desulphurization technology is widely used in the industrial process for its capability of efficient pollution *** desulphurization control system,however,is subjected to complex reaction mechanisms and severe disturbances,which make for it difficult to achieve certain practically relevant control goals including emission and economic performances as well as system *** address these challenges,a new robust control scheme based on uncertainty and disturbance estimator(UDE)and model predictive control(MPC)is proposed in this *** UDE is used to estimate and dynamically compensate acting disturbances,whereas MPC is deployed for optimal feedback regulation of the resultant *** viewing the system nonlinearities and unknown dynamics as disturbances,the proposed control framework allows to locally treat the considered nonlinear plant as a linear *** obtained simulation results confirm that the utilization of UDE makes the tracking error negligibly small,even in the presence of unmodeled *** the conducted comparison study,the introduced control scheme outperforms both the standard MPC and PID(proportional-integral-derivative)control strategies in terms of transient performance and ***,the results reveal that a lowpass-filter time constant has a significant effect on the robustness and the convergence range of the tracking error.

The simulation of industry-scale reactive bulks is challenging due to the complex interaction between fluid and *** particles in the bulk and their interaction with the fluid flow can be described by combined Discrete Element Method-Computational Fluid Dynamics(DEM-CFD)***,the computational cost of the Finite Volume(FV)methods deployed in these models can become prohibi-tively expensive,especially for high inner-particle *** particle Reduced Models(RMs)can be used to achieve both fast and accurate descriptions of the processes in each *** an example of bulk systems comprising heat and mass transfer,we compared FV and RM simulations for the drying of wood chips in a bulk reactor.A manifold-based nonlinear interpolation was applied to resolve changing boundary conditions for the *** simulations showed that RMs provide accurate values for the thermodynamic state variables of the ***,the time required for the bulk simulation was reduced by 67%with the *** is evident that simulations with high inner-particle resolution can be accelerated by RMs if manifold-based nonlinear interpolation is used to address changing boundary conditions.

Real-time UAV path planning based on LSTM network

To address the shortcomings of single-step decision making in the existing deep reinforcement learning based unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)real-time path planning problem,a real-time UAV path planning algorithm based on long shortterm memory(RPP-LSTM)network is proposed,which combines the memory characteristics of recurrent neural network(RNN)and the deep reinforcement learning *** networks are used in this algorithm as Q-value networks for the deep Q network(DQN)algorithm,which makes the decision of the Q-value network has some *** to LSTM network,the Q-value network can use the previous environmental information and action information which effectively avoids the problem of single-step decision considering only the current ***,the algorithm proposes a hierarchical reward and punishment function for the specific problem of UAV real-time path planning,so that the UAV can more reasonably perform path *** verification shows that compared with the traditional feed-forward neural network(FNN)based UAV autonomous path planning algorithm,the RPP-LSTM proposed in this paper can adapt to more complex environments and has significantly improved robustness and accuracy when performing UAV real-time path planning.

LFM Radar Source Passive Localization Algorithm Based on Range Migration

Traditional single-satellite passive localization algorithms are influenced by frequency and angle measurement accuracies,resulting in error estimation of emitter position on the order of ***,a single-satellite localization algorithm based on passive synthetic aper-ture(PSA)was introduced,enabling high-precision ***,its estimation of azimuth and range distance is considerably affected by the residual frequency offset(RFO)of uncoopera-tive system ***,it requires data containing a satellite flying over the radia-tion source for RFO *** estimating the RFO,an accurate estimation of azimuth and range distance can be carried out,which is difficult to achieve in practical *** LFM radar source passive localization algorithm based on range migration is proposed to address the dif-ficulty in estimating frequency *** algorithm first provides a rough estimate of the pulse repetition time(PRT).It processes intercepted signals through range compression,range interpola-tion,and polynomial fitting to obtain range migration ***,it uses the changing information of range migration and an accurate PRT to formulate a system of nonlinear equations,obtaining the emitter position and a more accurate PRT through a two-step localization *** offset only induces a fixed offset in range migration,which does not affect the changing *** algorithm can also achieve high-precision localization in squint ***,the effectiveness of this algorithm is verified through simulations.

Hierarchically Distributed Optimization with a Flexible and Complexity-Reducing Algorithm

In this paper, the authors consider distributed convex optimization over hierarchical networks. The authors exploit the hierarchical architecture to design specialized distributed algorithms so that the complexity can be reduced compared with that of non-hierarchically distributed *** this end, the authors use local agents to process local functions in the same manner as other distributed algorithms that take advantage of multiple agents' computing resources. Moreover, the authors use pseudocenters to directly integrate lower-level agents' computation results in each iteration step and then share the outcomes through the higher-level network formed by pseudocenters. The authors prove that the complexity of the proposed algorithm exponentially decreases with respect to the total number of pseudocenters. To support the proposed decomposition-composition method for agents and pseudocenters, the authors develop a class of operators. These operators are generalizations of the widely-used subgradient based operator and the proximal operator and can be used in distributed convex optimization. Additionally, these operators are closed with respect to the addition and composition operations; thus, they are suitable to guide hierarchically distributed design and analysis. Furthermore,these operators make the algorithm flexible since agents with different local functions can adopt suitable operators to simplify their calculations. Finally, numerical examples also illustrate the effectiveness of the method.

In recent years,multi-modal flexible tactile sensors have become an important direction in the development of electronic skin because of their excellent sensitivity,flexibility and wearable *** this work,a humidity-pressure multi-modal flexible sensor based on polypyrrole(PPy)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) sensitive film packaged with porous polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)is investigated by combining the sensitive structure generation mechanism of in situ polymerization to achieve the simultaneous detection of humidity and pressure,which has a sensitivity of 89,113.4Ω/%RH in a large humidity range of 0%-97%RH,and response/recovery time of 2.5/1.9 *** tactile pressure sensing has a high sensitivity,a fast response of 67/52 ms,and a wide detection *** device also has excellent performance in terms of stability and repeatability,making it promising for respiratory pattern and motion *** work provides a new solution to address the construction of multi-modal tactile sensors with potential applications in the fields of medical health,epidemic prevention.

Research on Operation Optimization of Energy Storage Power Station and Integrated Energy Microgrid Alliance Based on Stackelberg Game

With the development of renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics and wind power,it has become a research hotspot to improve the consumption rate of new energy and reduce energy costs through the deployment of energy *** solve the problem of the interests of different subjects in the operation of the energy storage power stations(ESS)and the integrated energy multi-microgrid alliance(IEMA),this paper proposes the optimization operation method of the energy storage power station and the IEMA based on the Stackelberg *** the upper layer,ESS optimizes charging and discharging decisions through a dynamic pricing *** the lower layer,IEMA optimizes the output of various energy conversion coupled devices within the IEMA,as well as energy interaction and demand response(DR),based on the energy interaction prices provided by *** results demonstrate that the optimization strategy proposed in this paper not only effectively balances the benefits of the IEMA and ESS but also enhances energy consumption rates and reduces IEMA energy costs.

Grouping Decision Algorithm for Dynamic Terminals in Random Access Networks

This paper proposes a grouping decision algorithm for random access networks with the carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) mechanism, which can balance the traffic load and solve the hidden terminal issue. Considering the arrival characteristics of terminals and quality of service (QoS) requirements, the traffic load is evaluated based on the effective bandwidth theory. Additionally, a probability matrix of hidden terminals is constructed to take into account the dynamic nature of hidden terminal relations. In the grouping process, an income function is established with a view to the benefits of decreasing the probability of hidden terminal collisions and load balancing. Then, we introduce the grey wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm to implement the grouping decision. Simulation results demonstrate that the grouping algorithm can effectively alleviate the performance degradation and facilitate the management of network resources.

Boosting oxygen vacancies by modulating the morphology of Au decorated In_(2)O_(3)with enhanced CO_(2)hydrogenation activity to CH_(3)OH

CO_(2)hydrogenation to methanol has become one of the most promising ways for CO_(2)utilization,however,the CO_(2)conversion rate and methanol selectivity of this reaction still need to be improved for industrial *** we investigated the structure-activity relationship for CO_(2)conversion to methanol of In_(2)O_(3)-based catalysts by modulating morphology and decorating *** different Au/In_(2)O_(3)catalysts were prepared,their activity follow the sequence of Au/In_(2)O_(3)-nanosphere(Au/In_(2)O_(3)-NS)>Au/In_(2)O_(3)-nanoplate(Au/In_(2)O_(3)-NP)>Au/In_(2)O_(3)-hollow microsphere(Au/In_(2)O_(3)-HM).Au/In_(2)O_(3)-NS exhibited the best performance with good CO_(2)conversion of 12.7%,high methanol selectivity of 59.8%,and large space time yield of 0.32 g CH_(3)OH/(hr·gcat)at 300℃.The high performance of Au/In_(2)O_(3)-NS was considered as the presence of *** contributes to the creation of more surface oxygen vacancies,which further promoted the CO_(2)adsorption and facilitated CO_(2)activation to form the formate intermediates towards *** work clearly suggests that the activity of In_(2)O_(3)catalyst can be effective enhanced by structure engineering and Au decorating.

Synthesis of chitosan-based grafting magnetic flocculants for flocculation of kaolin suspensions

A series of novel chitosan-based magnetic flocculants FS@CTS-P(AM-DMC)was prepared by molecular structure *** characterization results showed that FS@CTS-P(AM-DMC)had a uniform size of about 21.46 nm,featuring a typical core-shell structure,and the average coating layer thickness of CTS-P(AM-DMC)was about 5.03 ***@CTS-P(AM-DMC)exhibited excellent flocculation performance for kaolin suspension,achieved 92.54% turbidity removal efficiency under dosage of 150 mg/L,pH 7.0,even at high turbidity(2000 NTU)with a removal efficiency of 96.96%.The flocculation mechanism was revealed to be dominated by charge neutralization under acidic and neutral conditions,while adsorption and bridging effects play an important role in alkaline *** properties of magnetic aggregates during flocculation,breakage,and regeneration were studied at different pH levels and *** the process of magnetophoretic,magnetic particles collide and adsorb with kaolin particles continuously due to magnetic and electrostatic attraction,transform into magnetic chain clusters,and then further form three-dimensional network magnetic aggregates that can capture free kaolin particles and other chain *** image velocimetry confirmed the formation of eddy current of magnetic flocs and experienced three stages:acceleration,stabilization,and deceleration.
