Recent developments in digital cameras and electronic gadgets coupled with Machine Learning(ML)and Deep Learning(DL)-based automated apple leaf disease detection models are commonly employed as reasonable alternatives to traditional visual inspection *** this background,the current paper devises an Effective Sailfish Optimizer with EfficientNet-based Apple Leaf disease detection(ESFO-EALD)*** goal of the proposed ESFO-EALD technique is to identify the occurrence of plant leaf diseases *** this scenario,Median Filtering(MF)approach is utilized to boost the quality of apple plant leaf ***,SFO with Kapur’s entropy-based segmentation technique is also utilized for the identification of the affected plant region from test ***,Adam optimizer with EfficientNet-based feature extraction and Spiking Neural Network(SNN)-based classification are employed to detect and classify the apple plant leaf images.A wide range of simulations was conducted to ensure the effective outcomes of ESFO-EALD technique on benchmark *** results reported the supremacy of the proposed ESFO-EALD approach than the existing approaches.

Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency(LSCD)is an eye disease that can cause corneal opacity and *** its advanced stage it can lead to a degree of visual *** involves the changing in the semispherical shape of the cornea to a drooping shape to downwards *** is hard to be diagnosed at early *** color and texture of the cornea surface can provide significant information about the cornea affected by *** such as shape and texture are very crucial to differentiate normal from LSCD *** several medical approaches exist,most of them requires complicated procedure and medical ***,in this paper,we pursued the development of a LSCD detection technique(LDT)utilizing image processing *** diagnosis of LSCD is very crucial for physicians to arrange for effective *** the proposed technique,we developed a method for LSCD detection utilizing frontal eye images.A dataset of 280 eye images of frontal and lateral LSCD and normal patients were used in this ***,the cornea region of both frontal and lateral images is segmented,and the geometric features are extracted through the automated active contour model and the spline *** the texture features are extracted using the feature selection *** experimental results exhibited that the combined features of the geometric and texture will exhibit accuracy of 95.95%,sensitivity of 97.91% and specificity of 94.05% with the random forest classifier of n=*** a result,this research developed a Limbal stem cell deficiency detection system utilizing features’fusion using image processing techniques for frontal and lateral digital images of the eyes.

This paper focuses on the dynamic thermo-mechanical coupled response of random particulate composite materials. Both the inertia term and coupling term are considered in the dynamic coupled problem. The formulation of the problem by a statistical second-order two-scale （SSOTS） analysis method and the algorithm procedure based on the finite-element difference method are presented. Numerical results of coupled cases are compared with those of uncoupled cases. It shows that the coupling effects on temperature, thermal flux, displacement, and stresses are very distinct, and the micro- characteristics of particles affect the coupling effect of the random composites. Furthermore, the coupling effect causes a lag in the variations of temperature, thermal flux, displacement, and stresses.

This paper is devoted to studying the existence of positive solutions for the following integral system {u(x)=∫_(R^n)|x-y|~λv-~q(y)dy, ∫_(R^n)|x-y|~λv-~p(y)dy,p,q>0,λ∈(0,∞),n≥*** is shown that if(u,v) is a pair of positive Lebesgue measurable solutions of this integral system, then 1/(p-1)+1/(q-1)=λ/n, which is different from the well-known case of the Lane-Emden system and its natural extension, the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev type integral equations.

The authors study the Rayleigh-Taylor instability for two incompressible immiscible fluids with or without surface tension, evolving with a free interface in the presence of a uniform gravitational field in Eulerian coordinates. To deal with the free surface, instead of using the transformation to Lagrangian coordinates, the perturbed equations in Eulerian coordinates are transformed to an integral form and the two-fluid flow is formulated as a single-fluid flow in a fixed domain, thus offering an alternative approach to deal with the jump conditions at the free interface. First, the linearized problem around the steady state which describes a denser immiscible fluid lying above a light one with a free interface separating the two fluids, both fluids being in(unstable) equilibrium is analyzed. By a general method of studying a family of modes, the smooth(when restricted to each fluid domain) solutions to the linearized problem that grow exponentially fast in time in Sobolev spaces are constructed, thus leading to a global instability result for the linearized ***, by using these pathological solutions, the global instability for the corresponding nonlinear problem in an appropriate sense is demonstrated.

The reverse construction and analysis of the networks of molecular interactions are essential for understanding their functions within cells. In this paper, a logic network model is constructed to investigate the complicated regulation mechanism of shoot genes of Arabidopsis Thaliana in response to stimuli. The dynamics of the complicated logic network is analyzed, discussed, and simulated. The simulation results show that the logic network of the active genes of shoot eventually evolves into eleven attractors under the stimuli, including five 1-periodic and six 2-periodic attractors. Our work provides valuable reference and guidance for biologists to understand and explain Arabidopsis＇ response to external stimuli by experiments.
